I was not expecting this! I was really excited about the book but I didn't actually like it all that much. I believe I gave it 3 out of 5 stars on goodreads (which is pretty bad for me, I'm usually nice x). BUT, Netflix originals are always awesome so this might change my mind biggrin.gif

So in the first four episodes they have fit in discussion about:

• suicide/suicide prevention
• isolation
• sexual curiosity & experimentation
• slut shaming
• revenge porn
• sexual harassment
• cyberbullying
• female objectification
• peer pressure
• underage drinking
• gang violence

and a bunch more that I forgot about HOLY SHIT this show is deep

It's largely terribly acted and so cheesy but I'm addicted.

Finished and it was AMAZING, last few episodes had some scenes which were a bit disturbing but that made it so good.

Just watched the first episode and it's so cheesy :over dramatic but there's something keeping me wanting to watch it.

I'm liking this in a Riverdale way - it's very aware of its genre and conventions so is indeed a bit overdramatic and cheesy but it's an addicting watch!

New fave show tbh. Loving everything about it and I'm so intrigued to see what each person did.

I'm up to episode 4, the first 2 were definitely better than 3+4, but at least tonight gave us some Tyler who I'm finding incredibly cute (I'm watching 2 a night)

'Tape 1, Side A' was slushy, moronic teen-drama nonsense but I guess that's the fundamental premise of the series. I get the wanting to continue watching sentiment though.
