after waiting what seemed like ages for this one off, i must say it was pretty dreadful! it was only slightly ammusing in places and the storyline was pretty weak. im now worried that its got the 'shameless' disease and are fast running out of humour.
 hope when the new seriese returns in the autumn it will be better. |

I'll still look forward to the new series. It had its moments but they certainly struggled to make the show twice its usual length. I do think it was needed though, it'd be fairly hard to explain how they've all ended up in the same place (which most of them hate) for a 3rd year running otherwise...
I love the gay couple though, and Donald. Genius. |

... what no new thread for the new seriese?
well im thoughroughly enjoying this seriese which goes from strength to strength, last night episode was EXCELLANT! the creep theif boyfriend of that slapper (sheridan smith) was robin askwith, who found fame in the 70's in the awful soft porn 'confessions of' seriese of films. he was a creepy sleaze then and hes a creepy sleaze now... but in this instance he is well cast! great show, much though i like hignfy and armstrong and miller on bbc1, benidorm gets my viewing. |

I've caught bits of this and it looks quite funny, need to watch it properly!

... and yet another superb episode, featuring the veteran una stubbs (aunt sally, or alf garnets daughter in till deth us do part...or even as cliff richards girl in 'summer holiday'). its very unusual for a comedy series to improve with its third seriese, but this does!

this weeks guest celeb from the past was keith barron, who appeared in the 'original benidorm' back in the early 80's 'wish you were here'..

i'm so glad it's back i'd been watching the repeats of series 3 on saturdays and it really got me into it again
cilla black in the new episode was hilarious! i wasn't really keen on the 2 new girls at the start but when that one started getting down to rihanna i fell in love with her straight away!  and i hope scary mary comes back for more episodes she seems like too good a character to waste..
