It was way too hard for me to come up with my Top 10. This is my loosely compiled list. I've grown up with The Beatles since my Dad is a huge fan.

I've been spamming 'Abbey Road' a lot for the anniversary and it feels utterly wrong that 'Because' isn't in my top 50 either. So I think imma have to kick another one out. That 'Moonlight Sonata'-esque production is sounding better than ever I've been a superfan since I was about 15 and my favourites are still changing.
So, 'Abbey Road' top 5: 01. Here Comes The Sun 02. Something 03. Come Together 04. I Want You (She's So Heavy) 05. Because All incredible and this is only my 4th favourite Beatles album *_* George really killed this one. Btw round 1 of the survivor is now open: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=226674 |

I mean, I do like it as a song, but it's not one that I thought someone would call their favourite. John Lennon hated that song, denouncing it as Paul McCartney's love of "granny music". |

I didn’t know that it was possible to feel claustrophobic when listening to music... until I heard ‘Revolution 9’.

Whenever I've felt the need to go into a Beatles album it's often been that I'm drawn to their weirder ones, I guess.
also Maxwell's has a great rhythm and those lyrics are... fun. |

This is a bit off-topic Agreed Jade. It's fantastic. I bought just remaster, just the single CD and sounds better than ever. Great album. |

They're being used as one of the acts for the AF Idol spin-off, 'Eleanor Rigby' fans unite: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=243620
(Donna Summer too in terms of pre-2000s acts) |

I used to think The Beatles were overrated until I saw what the charts were like before they came along. Also when I was younger I tended to hate anything that was popular. The best Beatles song for me would be "Tomorrow Never Knows". I think the term "ahead of its time" is overused, but this really was ahead of it's time.
