What is Zara playing at? 'Uncover' is starting to slay worldwide and 'Lush Life' is incredibly poor. 'Weak Heart', 'Rooftop' and 'Carry You Home' were incredible singles. This is by far her worst so far. I'm guessing this could grow on me but at the moment I'm not very impressed.

I do agree with you Lee, this is very mediocre compared to her usual standard.

This is actually incredible! I never saw what something special Zara supposedly had that would help her break out worldwide over all the other Scandipop stars, but now I can see it. This screams smash, it's basically a female version of 'What Do You Mean?' for me.
I've been saying for months that Rihanna should lead some sort of tropical pop revolution, and this sounds like the single Rihanna so desperately needs! The tropical reggae sound of this would suit Rihanna perfectly, but it also suits Zara perfectly!

Really impressed with this actually. Everything else I've heard of hers has been varying degrees of sheer boredom but this has a lot going for it.

It currently has a release date for the UK in January but I can see it being pushed back as I'm expecting 'Never Forget You' to still be within the top 20 in two months time, I can't believe this is going to be top 5 on Friday. Zara is in such an incredible position with her positions on iTunes. 'Never Forget You' is #3 in Australia and close to going top 10 in New Zealand as well as rapidly climbing in Germany (#17 on German spotify) and USA.
'Lush Life' is currently top 3 in Germany and I can see it being pushed majorly in the UK now and it wouldn't surprise me to see her being supported by Capital, Radio 1 and Kiss, I just hope she doesn't turn out to be another Tove.

Oh very interesting! It's still up for pre-order in the UK but it's done very well around Europe so i'm hoping that 'Lush Life' manages to get Zara her first top 10 UK hit.
I've just noticed that it's climbed to #217 on USA iTunes and was top 100 on USA Spotify as of last week despite next to no airplay and without any USA promotion.

Zara has reached a new peak of #71 on USA Spotify, I can't believe how huge she's going to be in 2016. 'Lush Life' is also #162 on UK Spotify, nothing major but good progress from an unknown artist I'll be interested to see the sales of 'Uncover' as it's failed to leave the top 800 since 'Never Forget You' premiered.

I think Never Forget You has really set Zara up for stardom in the UK. I think the fact is was a joint single has really put people on their radar. Her vocals are definitely better than MNEK's on the track so she will hopefully have an outstanding career in the UK in 2016!

this needs to be a huge top 10 really. the Rihanna comparison earlier in the thread is great actually, if she made music like this.
I know 'Uncover' is like over 2 years old but that could probably be a hit too if it got pushed after this. (and its age didn't stop it smashing in a few countries earlier this year)

I don't think it has been sent for radio or TV adds yet, I'm presuming it won't be until January 15th which will then be alongside the "OA/OS" release of the single. I did see Zara performing it live on 4music earlier today though so it's definitely on its way!

Gah, I love this. The added/new chorus that kicks in at 2:08 works so well. Kind of wish she smiled a bit in the video though as the song's so joyous and she's such a stunner, but I'm just nitpicking - the whole thing's flawless. <3

More 'Lush Life' videos 
'Lush Life' is not being pushed in America despite being #30 on Spotify and bubbling under, they've sent out 'Never Forget You' for adds which is actually doing reasonable well as it's climbed to #157 on USA iTunes and #158 on USA Spotify.
I feel like a proud father, I've supported Zara for years and to finally see her breakout and becoming the star I know she could be 
. 'Lush Life' is such a remarkable song that should have been Rihanna's comeback so I'm thankful Zara is rapidly increasing on UK iTunes and will be top #15 no week as it's already #23 on iTunes and #14 on Spotify without Capital, Radio 1 or Kiss supporting the track yet.
I'm praying Zara announces a mini UK tour because I'll be desperate to get tickets, who wants to come with me ? x

It's been bubbling under for almost two months due to it's incredibly strong streaming.
Zara performed 'Lush Life' and 'Girls Like' on The Voice and also performed with Tinie on Jonathan Ross, I have no idea why she's not put her album up for pre-order and offered 'Never Forget You', 'Girls Like', 'Uncover' and 'Lush Life' for instant grat.

Yeah, I've been baffled as to why it's been so consistent with streaming yet hasn't been touched by radio or acquired more sales. Truly bizarre. So I hope another re-release will give it the push it needs. Agree about the pre-order as well, not sure what they're waiting for.

I completely disagree with that. It may not have been Zara's finest performance but she usually delivers incredible performances of 'Lush Life' which is a difficult song to sing.
