Codemasters are releasing 3 different Formula 1 games this year!
![]() Firstly, F1 Online: The Game is available free-to-play right now on PC. It is currently in open beta stage, but I have been playing it for the last few weeks and it is a great take on F1 and incorporates much more of a management side than the usual console game as well as a unique top-down racing style! It is possible to play completely free and any F1 fans should really check this game out available at https://www.f1onlinethegame.com/ Secondly, the annual console release will be released in September and unsurprisingly titled F1 2012. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, this release will give gamers the first chance to experience the new United States GP in Texas. Furthermore, the new release will for the first time include a "young driver test" mode as a new tutorial mode for new players. Can't wait for this as I'm obsessed with my 2011 version! ![]() Finally, a new innovative F1 game was announced by Codemasters yesterday: F1 Race Stars! Scheduled for a release in November for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this is a Mario-Kart style arcade games loosely based on the season's F1 circuits and the drivers have been made into amazing cartoon characters! Can't wait to hear more about this, but it sounds fabulous! Very exciting for all F1 gaming fans! |
