And so it's come to this. Two huge songs battling it out for the crown of your least, least favourite single from man of the moment, Drake.. In second place not quite hotlining to the top is...

02. Drake ft. Rihanna - Take Care

The title track from his humongous second studio album, is a mellow, hypnotising, beautiful song featuring then on/off love partner Rihanna. A dream collaboration for many and it did not disappoint. Dreamy vocals, stunning production and brilliant lyrics - it's the whole package. Reaching the top 10 in the US, UK and across the world, it's one of his most successful singles and one that many go back to as it shows a totally different sensitive and vulnerable side to the artist. Adored by critics and fans alike, it came accompanied with a music video that perfectly captured the style of the song. All in all, a tremendous project but not quite your #1 ohmy.gif

Which means taking the crown home, it's...

01. Drake ft. Majid Jordan - Hold On, We're Going Home

Much that as been said about 'Take Care' can be echoed and perhaps amplified for a description for this beauty. Peaking at number four in the US and UK, being named the best song of 2013 by Pitchfork Media, amassing huge sales and impact globally, everything about it just works. Channeling Michael Jackson in the production but offering a modern twist to it and Drake's sensual vocals on top, the song is layered with mystery and beauty. He has described it as a timeless song, and i think that sums it up perfectly - one that will be heard in many years time and still sound fresh and relevant. A stunning song and a very worthy winner.

'Hold On, We're Going Home' is by no means his best song but a very good one nonetheless, certainly far preferable to 'Take Care' winning as I had expected!

Poor 'Hotline Bling' not getting to be included here :') Although I doubt it'd have done very well anyway even though it's now my favourite Drake song.

Don't think I voted for the final but very worthy winner here. Hearing "HOWGH" for the first time was one of those drop-everything-listen-now moments for me, instant classic.
