Sunday Chart Predictions
Predicting the 05/04 to 11/04 chart The Prodigy to ride the TIDAL waves of the stream in the bay to #1? The fight for #1 remains undecided at this point of the week, with Jess Glynne's 'Hold My Hand' expected to sell well following her performance on The Voice at the weekend and Ed Sheeran's 'Bloodstream' now receiving help from the Rudimental mix. Hoping to achieve Top 10 places is the On Air/One Sale second single 'Bitch Better Have My Money' by Rihanna, Sia's 'Elastic Heart' (previously peaked at #11 and is receiving a boost due to The Voice too) and Dappy's lead single 'Beautiful Me' from his second album. Other new entries to the Top 40 may include Luke Friend's 'Hole in My Heart', Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson's 'Trouble' and Meghan Trainor's 'Dear Future Husband'. Returning with their sixth studio album, The Prodigy are aiming to earn their 6th #1 with The Day is My Enemy. The Top 3 should be completed by James Bay and Sam Smith whilst possible new entries to the Top 10 include Sufjan Stevens' Carrie & Lowell and Circa Waves' Young Chasers. Other new entries should include Nightwish, Steve Hackett, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Death Cab For Cutie, Bella Hardy, Ron Sexsmith and Madeon. Certain to hit #1 in the compilations is Now! 90, knocking Fifty Shades of Grey OST off top. ======================================================== Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. You can still post your own predictions for the week to generate chat to the topic. That's it for the week, my source is on holiday as of today, I doubt there be anything from MW tomorrow morning. Just checked last year's topic around the same time, we didn't get anything on Good Friday morning from MW. Its all done and dusted for this week.

So many water puns! If only there was enough room in the sub-title to mention the new streaming service TIDAL.

I am nervous for The Prodigy's chances of #1 this week. Gah. James Bay's underwhelming first week sales should be a good sign but still ~

Tidal wave?
Ed Sheeran/Rudimental quite obviously going to be #1, but on pretty low sales I'd have thought. Glynne may claw it back by the end of the week however.. |

I'm quietly confident The Prodigy can soar to the top, they have an amazing track record on albums & since the singles didn't really do anything the Warriors will be out in force this week!

She'll have the NOW 90 effect to keep her at the top and she's also ahead of Ed on streaming This post has been edited by Hadji: 30th March 2015, 11:00 PM |

Really hoping Luke can make the top 40 this week, that's all really. Iggy making the top 40 would be VERY welcomed though of course

I'm not a huge Olly fan really but I like Seasons a lot so would welcome that in the top 40! His EP came out yesterday so that should help him into the top 40. If only Capital see sense and decide to playlist the song This post has been edited by Hadji: 30th March 2015, 11:10 PM |

Just one thing in a great narrative the 50 Shades album relenquished it's grip from the no1 compilations chart last week

Feel as though there's a bit of extra hype around Sufjan's album in the UK this year. Of his many albums he's only ever had 1 top 40 at #30 so I'm hoping he can get his second this Sunday, preferably top 20!

Go Team at 51, not bad really. Mint Royale @MintRoyale · Madeon 14. Van Halen 34. Mint Royale @MintRoyale · Prodigy number 1 album. Sufjan Stevens at 6 *surprised face* Mint Royale @MintRoyale · Sheeran’s Bloodstream at number 1. Dappy (!) at 7. Nothing else interesting in the singles at all. I can't believe Dappy is still relevant in this day and age. Even Tulisa flopped last year!
