[The Circle]

HELLO UK Chart Forum! Joseph has given The Lounge express permission to let you know about our latest event, the Circle in the hope that some of you get involved and join in!

The Circle is a game where YOU can be anyone who choose to be. You are given a special alias account which is completely separate to your own account. You will have access to the specialist sub-forum (situated within the Lounge) called The Circle where you compete with other players, also posing as aliases. The aliases can get to know each other through a general chat topic and other discussion topics. The Circle will also be posting exciting tasks and challenges for players to get involved with and the results of which may have significant consequences...

Ultimately, the Circle is a popularity contest with a twist as it is your alias who has to be the popular one. There will be regular rankings, where players rank each other in order of preference. Those who come out on top will be influencers and will have a chance to BLOCK the other players. If you are blocked, you are eliminated from The Circle and the poster behind the alias is revealed!

Your alias can be whoever you want to be, you are NOT playing as yourself. Test your imagination with your character and make them as funny or as outrageous as you want! In the previous edition, we had a grandpa with no experience of social media and a bitchy middle class girl. Many of the big characters stayed until the end so don’t be afraid to be LOUD with your creations. If you fail to stand out, you may be blocked by the Circle!

The deadline for sign-ups is 23:59 Wednesday 16 October and The Circle will open on Friday 18 October. If you’re not immediately available from 18 October, please still send us your application and send a PM to The Circle account to state your availability as you may still get a chance to enter the Circle!

Remember, your identity is a secret up until the moment you are blocked. The posters playing will NOT be revealed and so you should keep it a secret that you have applied.

This edition has been in planning for a while and there are new and exciting ideas coming and so we would love you to get involved. The Circle is open up to every and ALL posters and it can be a fantastic way to increase your presence within the community, whether you’re a new or old poster.

This year, there will be increased participation from non-players so even if you’re not interested in taking part as a player, you can still get involved!
