The chart airplay priority here confuses me. A ton of new entries end up not getting played and in some cases it affects future chart positions, while some songs that have lasted a lifetime get played almost every single week.

Yeah, with the new rules it's hard enough to play all the new entries/climbers from #40 to #11 in an hour, so even more songs will be left out with the summer mixes in the way
