Kelis) - Bounce 179 34 21 - Avicii - Levels 181 33 49 5 Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend 195 32 28 - Emeli Sandé - Heaven 195 31 26 - Black Keys - Lonely Boy 204 30 38 13 Calvin Harris - Feel So Close 204 29 54 7 Wynter Gordon - Dirty Talk 205 28 27 - Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath 209 27 RE 17 Ke$ha - We R Who We R 215 26 52 10 Rihanna - S&M 222 25 14 - Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me 222 24 36 8 Nicki Minaj (feat. Drake) - Moment 4 Life 227 23 43 3 Nero - Promises 233 22 18 - Nero - Guilt 233 21 41 1 Marina & The Diamonds - Radioactive 237 20 4 - Coldplay - Paradise 239 19 25 - Saturdays - All Fired Up 240 18 22 - Britney Spears - Till The World Ends 244 17 12 - Ellie Goulding - Lights 250 16 24 - Kanye West - All Of The Lights 253 A fair few decent changes though, Promises finally gets itself an AQ, and We R Who We R returns strong. Last year's 2011 was a bit of a shock top 5 all things considered and we have lost one of them but Paradise hasn't exactly disgraced itself with a 20th position either. Shame, because it's glorious and has only got moreso over the years. 15 17 - Adele - Someone Like You 262 14 15 - Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 263 13 16 - Jennifer Lopez (feat. Pitbull) - On The Floor 270 12 30 - Lady Gaga - Judas 279 11 5 - Chase & Status (feat. Liam Bailey) - Blind Faith 288 10 10 - Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out 289 9 13 - Nicki Minaj - Super Bass 292 8 8 - M83 - Midnight City 292 7 2 - Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks 294 6 11 - Drake (feat. Rihanna) - Take Care 295 Adele leads in the two going into the knockout semi final. No first round qualifiers this high this time but a remarkable improvement from Judas to move on, while Blind Faith and Pumped Up Kicks fall back a bit from their fabulous performances last year but still enough to move on. 5 1 - Lana Del Rey - Video Games 315 4 9 - Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory 316 3 3 - Adele - Rolling In The Deep 322 2 6 - Katy Perry (feat. Kanye West) - E.T. 327 1 7 - Rihanna (feat. Calvin Harris) - We Found Love 369 And it's the first winner change, even if it means crowning an old winner. I think the current 2011 record goes: 2012-2015 - We Found Love, 2016: Video Games, 2017: We Found Love returns from an off year that saw it take the long route round to the final, this time, it's going straight through. Rihanna is joined by Katy Perry, Adele, Gaga and Lana. A fairly typical lineup of artists but some fairly good pop songs in there, even if last year's 2011 top 5 was LEAGUES better, I knew it was a bit of a fluke. |

Well I did my best to save these results with my über late votes as usual xx (2012 votes coming shortly)
All of the songs dropping out of the top 5 are making me weep (their replacements are good as well but not nearly AS good). At least 'Judas' and 'Someone Like You' are good ones to climb into the top 15. Mostly not great new AQs as well (bar Calvin/Nero/Nicki), and Coldplay/The Vaccines/Labrinth dropping out </3 Delilah getting that climb tho *. |

Best song on top.
Pleasantly surprised to see Judas within the Top 15! Ooh and get that climb, Wynter. *.* Jealousy is by far Will Young's best song imo, it's quite stunning and I'm surprised it could seem offensive to anyone's ears! It shouldn't be that low... remind me to promote ROTD in the Will Young forum next year. x Glad it didn't come last at least. Oops at Jessie J. :') |

Was Jessie J ever popular here? Her career seems to just be a cautionary tale these days... but she was once well-loved, ish

I thought I'd made my disdain for Jealousy clear before! It meanders so badly and feels completely lacklustre.
I mean, I'm hardly the sort of person who likes Will Young's music anyway but that song reminded me why I didn't much like him (with the exception of Leave Right Now). As is often the case with me, what seems inoffensive is the WORST. |
