I think Avicii will win, I can't see Take That being a big singles band going forward, they'll sell more albums. Although of course McBusted could also throw a spanner in the works that week - unlikely though.

Also missing from this week's albums - The 2 Bears, Julian Casablancas, The Primitives, Wayne Hussey, Foxygen, Kerbdog, Exodus and reissues by Madness and Iron Maiden. Among the most glaring. How the heck do you remember to include Sivu but not members of Hot Chip and The Strokes - both of whom have had far more radio play?? I know some of the others are long past their fame (not that Kerbdog had much fame!) but some of us would like to see them included.

Blondini (Tony) is well known for being unnecessarily aggressive and rude; he can be quite helpful too though so I think we generally let him off.

Needless to say there is MUCH appreciation for you putting this topic together MasterJon. It is the only resource and something I have used for decades now (from 2004 when MK started it) to put together my singles chart and decide what new albums to buy. So thank you and keep up the great work!!

I agree, a huge thanks for putting this together every week, it's invaluable and I'm always checking the schedule! biggrin.gif

Thank You biggrin.gif

Jax Jones was cancelled. I'm not sure where Sun Goes Down's date came from but there's no reason they'd have released it so soon and it never had a single pre-order. His album (including the song) was meant to be out in the UK sometime this month but the pre-order seems to have been removed; guessing they'll try to push SGD properly once Prayer In C dies down then.

Interesting, January is usually quite quiet for albums but there seem to be a few noteworthy ones coming out

I don't think a single release was planned, it was just a track from the album (which as you say has been pulled for now)

Thanks for the answers. I hope Sun Goes Down will be released at some point. It looks like it wil lbe a hit at least in Germany, it's top 20 there already. smile.gif
