I have disagreed with most of what Nicki has been spouting, but i am totally FOR this tweet. Taylor preaching about not pitting women against other women while promoting a song that does just that. Katy has been graceful about it, but something had to be said after this whole blow out and i am so glad she did this.
I literally squealed when i saw the tweet

Seriously though, ATRL talk aside, such a great reply from Katy who has done well to remain very tight-lipped throughout the whole of this Bad Blood saga when she could've easily retaliated given the force of everything that was being thrown her way.
Everybody picked up on the huge hypocrisy of Taylor's tweet yesterday, she can't seriously preach about pitting women against women when her newest hit is doing exactly that so she's the worst culprit. She's based the whole hype around this single about her issues with Katy, so she really is the worst culprit recently in the whole "pitting women against women" debate. |

She's very clever. As Rob said, she remained tight lipped during the 'Bad Blood' thing (both when the 1989 album came out, and then the single version/video). If she'd added fuel to the fire at these moments, she may have come across as bitter or unwillingly made herself seem "in the wrong". But Taylor tweeting Nicki what she did, and the subsequent reaction... that provided Katy with the perfect opportunity to have the upper hand, evident by that tweet. Bravo! ;o(I love Taylor's recent music, but I'm so confused and undecided about her as a personality...) |
