Half of the artists on Riton & Nightcrawlers' 'Friday' are teaming up to deliver another day of the week based dance tune this week, this time focusing on the 'Weekend' as a whole! I would say there's surely no way something this blatantly derivative of a previous one hit wonder (from the title alone) has any chance of actually becoming a hit but then the fact 'Friday' was a hit in the first place was already baffling enough so I shouldn't tempt fate x

Madonna isn't officially credited, but an artist credit doesn't always come part and parcel with a sample. Curtis Hudson and Lisa Stevens who wrote Holiday originally are credited though.

I would be up for it being a hit as I quite like it but I don't think it will be a hit sadly. |
