It might get a nice boost on iTunes but it'll only be for about a day and absolutely not enough for it to achieve the 4.3k+ required to make the official Top 100. Tbh its iTunes boost might not even be that significant as the song might not be heard during the programme. It's outside the Top 200 on iTunes currently and that's with the song actually being used in the advert.

Actually 'Life On Mars' did re-enter at #55 following the finale of the second series.
