Leaving after Round 5 are 'Collide' and 'Tough Love' which both attracted the same number of votes.
'Collide' was intended as the first single of Leona Lewis' 'Glassheart' album before being cut from the final track listing. The song was infamous for the instrumental being a complete rip-off of 'Fade Into Darkness' which led to Avicii and his team planning to sue Syco. Before it reached the court however an agreement was settled giving Avicii and then-manager/co-producer Ash Pournouri writing credits, as well as Avicii receiving joint artist billing. 'Tough Love' was released as the second single from posthumous album 'Tim', although it did not get a radio push and 'SOS' was still riding high in the chart so it only managed a UK #60 peak. Vocals were provided by regular collaborators Vargas & Lagola, as well as Vargas' partner Agnes, as a result of Avicii's request that the song be performed as a duet by a real couple. =17. Now that Collide is out my next target is... Fade Into Darkness
 Just wanted to be sure the latter finished higher, so yay for that.I'll also give a vote to The Nights, another very great song but not quite up with his very best for me even if it's one of his biggest sellers. |
