Chart Commentary
 Soaring to the top spot this week, Rita Ora claims her second #1 in four weeks with new single Anywhere. It dethrones The Vamps' Personal, which spends just one week at the top and now sits at #2, while last week's #2 from Citizen Four also shifts down one place. Both songs held up very well for me this week, but neither were a challenge to Rita, as Anywhere is the easiest #1 in my chart for a while. It gives Rita her sixth #1 overall in just over 5 years, with How We Do (Party) being her very first back in mid-2012. Since then, she's topped the chart with her own single I Will Never Let You Down, plus collaborations Black Widow with Iggy Azalea, Doing It with Charli XCX and Lonely Together with Avicii (which slips one place to #7 this week). Rita also re-enters at #20 with Your Song, meaning she has three songs in this week's top 20, and the most of any artist in the entire top 40 (Declan McKenna, Manel Navarro, Khalid, Jai Waetford, Taylor Swift, P!nk and The Vamps all have two songs each). Amazing number one I think it could climb big in my chart next week tbh. Also shocked Your Song only peaked at 7 thought it peaked higher  Harry Gardner's song is lovely  I adore that Declan song too! Ed Sheeran and ZAYN both climbing  That Taylor Swift song is nice but my least fave of the three new songs of Repution so far! Revenge has to be single 2 Great Chart

Great choice of #1! Miles better than Your Song for me, that dance touch really works! Massive climb for Declan into the Top 10! My favourite of the remaining album tracks so glad it was made a single - WHAT is that video though?  Nice to see Revenge enter as well! Sounds a bit more like the old P!nk which I'm liking - wonder where it'll peak officially? Great chart

Really liking the new Rita Ora song as you already know from my chart!! Would be great if it was a future UK #1. Hoping for a hot shot debut for Clean Bandit this coming week. It ain't no Symphony but it's another good tune from them. |
