Sister Sledge's Frankie stopped Crazy for You (orignal) from getting to number one, selling just 2,000 copies extra!

For Crazy for You (1991 re-issue), Simpsons' Do the Bartman and The Clash's Should I Stay or Should I Go stopped it from getting it to number one, which both sold 62,000 and 68,000.

Crazy for You is probably my favourite Madonna track from the 80's wub.gif

Thankyou very much for posting! w00t.gif Such great debut sales for her studio albums! And 20,700 copies sold at #115 for R&R ohmy.gif To think that at the moment in the UK, #3 woud find it hard to sell that much

R&R was released in december 2003 in the US so, maybe it could have charted higher.
Some places put in the singles charts other counties put it in the album chart.

Hard Candy's US chart run and weekly sales are now up in the US Billboard thread!
