Craig David and Protoje both falling victim to the C-B-A-A curse. Grrr, I genuinely thought they'd remove 'One Dance' this week, are they just going to keep it on until it falls from #1? It's now overtaken Gotye for most weeks on A-list (12), but still one week away from equalling his overall number of weeks on the playlist (14). Absolutely ridiculous.
And what's going on with Dizzee/Calvin, I wonder if they're actually going to snub it?

I was about to think "not another bloody Mumford & Sons song!" but I've realised its from their recent EP and not another release from Wilder Minds.
Not a very exciting week for new adds; the only act I'm particularly bothered about is Twin Atlantic but I recall their song not really impacting on me. Nice to see Christine & The Queens moving up as that could secure its chances of being, say, a Top 20 hit. I also hope 'Sledgehammer' can make some progress too but it's still being overshadowed by the likes of 'Too Good', 'This is What You Came For', 'Work' and, soon enough, 'Needed Me'. |

Craving is the 7th single from James' album! Even I think it's a bit much at this stage, it's good that he's getting support still but 7 singles is way too much for any album

Don't know if that rule still applies. |

Didn't expect Bear's Den to make the Radio 1 playlist, although it's well deserved, Auld Wives is a great song, albeit one that didn't sound like an R1 friendly one.

Excited to see CHVRCHES back on the playlist, Bury It has never been one of my favourites but Hayley has injected a bit of life into it for me so I'm enjoying it a lot more at the moment.
Craving is without a doubt the next best single choice for Jamed Bay too, highly doubt it will touch the charts but it's nice that it'll reach a wider audience now before he moves on to the next era, soon please
