'sober' would have been given poor treatment... Selena usually checks out of promo during her album cycles after the tour / 3 weeks after the album is out... Remember when 'Stars Dance' was her favourite album ever and after the album week, we got no more from it... I was shocked 'Revival' got four singles (with limited promo ofc though she did get ill; so she gets a pass that time).

I love Sober but I don't think it would've done any better than Kill Em With Kindness. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at the time that KEWK did so well considering how far into the campaign it was!

was Sober released in the US as single? cos I think it charted in the bubbling under chart...
Sober was great but I think Lose You is even better at all levels musically and specially lyrically... but at the end of the day both are Julia Michaels songs |

If you had told me that Selena Gomez would come back with a #1 US single and Top 3 UK single after 'Bad Liar', 'Fetish', 'Wolves' and 'Back To You' - I wouldn't have believed you. Biggest shock chartwise for me in a long time! So thoroughly deserved though, such a good song.
