Excited to see what you have to offer, good luck from Ajanaeda
Good luck from Republic Of Adonia! Excited to hear your first entry
I'm interested to see what you've got to offer.
I've seen your chart and your musical interests are on point most of the time so my expectations are high
Goodluck from Yehesi!
Greetings from Daehun and a warm welcome to the BJSC Ultraviolenceland!
Welcome from my country Ramrynia! We seem to share a lot of favourite artists (Taylor and Leah for example) so hopefully I will enjoy your entries.
Welcome to the world of BJSC. Regards, President Kate Mulgrew of ths country JAMVALE.
PRESIDENT LANA DEL SWIFT'S PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES
She has thanked the countries of Ajanaeda, Republic Of Adonia, Yehesi, Daehun, Ramrynia and Jamvale for their welcomes and returns them back and has wishhed them luck for the next competition
When asked about what Ultraviolenceland would submit to the first competition, Lana Del Swift revealed she wasn't very sure. Her preferred song would definitely be vetoed so she is looking out for other songs. She has got a contender in a massive hit this year in Ultraviolenceland but she wants to save that for a competition in a few months as it is risky. Del Swift is supposedly going to look for an unknown dance entry for the first entry to come into BJSC with a bang before going to the typical fare the residents of Ultraviolenceland listen to
im intrigued! vilkommen to the contest sweetheart.
Sounds exciting! A very warm welcome from Bellamia
LANA DEL SWIFT TALKS ABOUT DISSAPOINTING FIRST ENTRY
Today the president of Ultraviolenceland- Lana Del Swift spoke about her decision for their first BJSC entry since the Opening Ceremony. Del Swift has admitted that Swept Away was probably the wrong song to put through however she was pleased it finished in 20th in the semi-final. She has a lot more confidence in this year's entry which is a song that did quite well in the charts in Ultraviolenceland this year and the genre that most of the residents listen to unlike Swept Away's genre. Swept Away peaked at 82 and spent 4 weeks top 100 in the charts and has sold 10,350 copies.
Your entry has been on repeat all day and should quickly enter the Top 10 of Adonia's personal chart
Entry Announced: Alexa Goddard- Marilyn for BJSC69
Now this is the kind of music that the residents of Ultraviolenceland listen to and the pop song representing the country in BJSC69 is Marilyn by Alexa Goddard. The song peaked at 15 in the charts in August and Re-peaked at 13 last week- it could even reach another new peak in the new chart which is revealed in an hour. Anyway it's quite funny how Alexa was selected. I was sure on a song (Clare Bowen- Black Roses) and I wanted to see someone's opinion on it so I thought I'd send 2 songs and add Marilyn as a joke. However they liked Marilyn and not black roses. I then offered listens to 2 other members of those 2 songs and 2 others and they both preferred Marilyn and I finally came to the right mind and sent Marilyn as I realised it would do better and more suitable for BJSC than black roses which would bomb
Ghost Invasion #1
Your country has just been invaded by ghosts. Do not stress this is only part of a Kathaldazia promotional tour. We hope to share mutual support with your country thanks.
Happy belated Halloween and all the best for your country in this contest
Not commented here in ages
Well Kat Deluna bombed in 70 and Hayden did even worse in 71. Kat flopped in my personal chart while Hayden was a #1 (though back in June)

First up let's start with a warm up from Queen Taylor Swift:
TIME TO START THIS MONTH'S ULTRAVIOLENCELAND NATIONAL SHOW involving amazing guests and artists along with exclusive interviews and performances. Hope you enjoy
Let's start tonights preceeding with an opening performance from Kluminican Republic with their amazing track Electric Love by Borns. This was one of my favourites when I first heard it on Plug DJ and I really hope it does well here as it is amazing so good to Kluminican Republic from everyone in Ultraviolenceland. The song has good odds and we can hope it can come at least top 10 or top 5
Here is Borns performing Electric Love to open tonight's show
Here is our first interview of the month as the president of Ultraviolenceland- Lana Del Swift- interviews a representive from Ajanaeda
Hello Ajanaeda
How does it feel to NOT qualify for this months final? We're rather sad because we feel it was one of our best entries but we're glad some people enjoyed it
[a mistake was made with this question originally as Lana thought they had qualified and asked how did it feel to qualify]
What was it about this song that made you fall in love with it and send it? The subtleness of it all and how it all adds together to make it lovely, the instrumental in particular is our favourite part.
You have had many great entries, our favourite being the adventure club. What is your favourite song you have sent? We're glad you liked Adventure Club, I think it's one of our best too. I'd say our absolute favourite was Imany's Please and Change but I guess no one liked that or even remembers it now sad.gif
What is your favourite entry? Since I've joined? Probably Oslol's Lapse of Time or Altyr Muunilinst's I Loved You heart.gif
What kind of genres are you planning to send for future BJSC's? More dance and indie I think, they are two of our favourite genres.
It is a tough task to follow up any great song in BJSC- it's an even tougher task when you are following up your last entry which is my favourite BJSC discovery so far. Avenir which Daehun sent last month was an absolutely perfect and you will be glad to know they have succeded in the fantastic follow up of raindrops which we also hope and predict to do well
Here is Daehun's performance:
TWEET REACTIONS
I so adore Raindrops I count it as a #1 in my chart so gutted it wasn't in my semi though
Our next performance comes from Harmonica which is a country with excellent music taste [bar magic ew] and have submitted many amazing BJSC entries. Here their finalist is performing Running Behind which is another great entry by them.
Now it's time to watch Holychild's live performance:
Our next interview is with one of the most promising countries to enter BJSC and one we are so looking forward to hearing more of. With their residents having excellent music taste such as Tonight Alive, here is Lana Del Swift interviewing a representative from Taahino
#GirlPower
How does it feel to enter BJSC It feels great to enter the BJSC, it's very exciting to be part of. I always love finding new music and sharing artists I love so I'm so glad I'm able to participate in it.
What was it about your amazing entry that made you want to submit it as your first song? It was a bit of a no-brainer for me to enter The Summer Set really, I absolutely adore this band and it just felt right that they should be my first entry into the BJSC. It did take a while for me to decide on which song of theirs to enter though, they have a lot of really awesome ones, especially from their album Legendary (which you should all check out wink.gif ) but Lightning In A Bottle was one of the first songs of theirs I heard and I thought well if that song can make me an instant fan of them then hopefully that will be the case with those in the contest laugh.gif
How happy are you to qualify on your first ever entry? I am soooo happy about qualifying with my first entry, I honestly didn't expect to - as cliché as that sounds, it makes it even better the fact that I have qualified with a band I am a huge fan of, the best part about qualifying for the final though is that a lot more people will be listening to The Summer Set in order to cast their votes and hopefully will enjoy the song and want to check out more of their stuff happy.gif
What kind of music are we expecting to hear from future entries? oooh good question, my future entries will definitely be songs I like, but as far the genre goes that could be anything, I tend to be drawn to upbeat songs where you can hear strong instruments as well as vocals, so probably a lot of my entries will be rock related, but that's a broad spectrum of music, I'm even considering maybe putting a bit of Scottish folk-rock in there at some point just to mix it up a bit laugh.gif but we shall see, I have a lot of artists in mind already that I'd like to share through the BJSC wub.gif
oooh yay okay cheer.gif thanks for choosing Taahino to interview! Good Luck in the final too UV! dance.gif
Next up is dance king Thermo's country next entry. I wouldn't call this their best entry but it is still a good tune and a 10000000000 million times better than that awful racket of rumours so were going the right way. What do you think of this?
Here is Danaelanda performing live:
The show will continue at 9PM and hopefully we will see more of you then
MORE TWEET REACTIONS
I forgot to get a performance for this! Funny that 2 of my potentials have already performed though.
Next up we have an interview and performance from the amazing country of Hushkanukia who are hosting this month after winning with their fabulous song by Pvris and also knows how it feels to have 5 DNQ'S In A Row. Here is Jessica Lee performing her amazing entry Boomerang which we hope can do very well in the final There interview with the leader of Hushkanukia is also underneath and contains some shocking revelations
Hello Hushkanukia
How does it feel to be hosting BJSC?
Oh, to be honest it is stressful as hell but fun at the same time. I am constantly checking things and trying to be as professional as I can, but lets me honest, it is a big job. I am enjoying listening to everyone's entries and just having a really good time with it all.
What did winning feel like after 5 consecutive DNQ's?
Haha, it was, erm... FANTASTIC! All I wanted to do was qualify and then I somehow managed to win the whole thing!? I would just like to thank those who voted for me last month heart.gif
Pvris had a big impact here receiving 10 points from us and peaking at #53 in the charts- what do you think of its impact in Ultraviolenceland?
I am so happy that my BJSC artists are managing to chart in our sister country. I hope 'Boomerang' manages to scrape the top 100 in Ultraviolenceland wink.gif
What is your favourite entry?
Ever? Well from my own entries I have to say Elina Born - 'Enough' but from other countries, definitely Madison Beer - 'Melodies' and Foxes ' 'Youth'. For this current contest I have to say either Daehun or Taahino
We can reveal in our first interview exclusive that you were planning to send Tara Ella, what made you change your mind?
To be honest, I feel that as an artist, Tara Ella is too widely known for BJSC. I would like to think that if she does ever sign up for it, she will send herself forward and give her country a bit of magic!
You were a big supporter of So There, so were you gutted to see it be vetoed?
Definitely. 'So There' is one of my favourite songs from 2014 and I was gutted at the fact more people on Buzzjack wont know just how good it is sad.gif
And last of all we have a shock revelation for you. Ultraviolenceland were meant to be co-hosts of this months BJSC but were dropped quicker than Esmée Denters made it to the yoghurt shop sad.gif And here's the revelation, Ultraviolenceland were planning to strike in protest about this decision and cause chaos in their neighbouring country. What do you think of this?
To be honest, that information was leaked by your head of military and Hushkanukia was prepared to fight back. However, Ultraviolenceland WILL still be a part of the final, but I cannot reveal too much just yet wink.gif
Thanks Hushkanukia and we are looking forward to the final
We love weird duet performances that are good [a la not Sam Squeal Ft Chart Murderer] so here is a surpsingly great duet between Numayania and Republic Of Adonia with both of their amazing entries. Numayania deserved to do so much better in their semi final and Ultraviolenceland residents should recognize Martin Solveig from his #1 smash here with Hello. We hope you enjoy this duet and good luck to Adonia in the final
Now as we are more high profile than the superbowl we will also have an hour break so here we will have a 15 minutes triple bill of Queens Of Pop followed by the latest episode of the 100. Make sure you are back here for 9:50pm when we will continue the show with the best parts- an exclusive mad performance, the best country winner award and Clare Bowen's interview, live performance and studio version.
See you all at 9:50pm hopefully
HALF TIME SHOW
QUEENS OF POP [these are so hilarious so I recommend a watch]:
Episode 1:
Episode 2:
Episode 3:
The 100- well it's on tv so can't be posted here
Reminds me of the Nekci Menij show haha, not as funny but there were some parts where I laughed hard.
'You dumb bitch. There are no dollar signs in the alphabet. Get the f*** our of this classroom'
and
'The first person to spell this word wins...' 'THIS WORD' 'Erm...ok. Britney you win' 'what the fuk'
Were back
Now we were saddened to see our favourite song of this whole content DNQ in the other semi final. But here with a one of special performance are the act that was Beaverdonia's debut entry- Mazoo And The Zoo with 'Η Καμήλα'. This is going to be one crazy and amazing performance
Here is our final interview as Lana Del Swift interviews Kate Mulgrew [I think that's the countries president] as we award Jamvale the country of the year award
Hello Jamvale
Congratulations on winning the best country award. How does this feel?
Hello Ultraviolenceland happy.gif
Best Country Award? Oh gosh! Oh My. That is fantastic news. Do you have any magic awards you can give me to help me win BJSC again? We seem to have lost our way.
The main reason you have won this award as without you, we would have never ever have received our first qualifier with black roses. Where did you first hear this song?
Oh but we didn't force you to send Black Roses so it was all down to you really, but President Mulgrew watches this show called Nashville and demanded that every person in Jamvale also watch it and that is where we discovered the song tongue.gif
What made you fall in love with black roses?
Black Roses is just such a raw song it it cuts to my heart when I hear it. Beautiful!
We were very sad to see magnetic nights not qualify as it was our 12 points. When did you discover this song?
Magnetic Nights was discovered about 4 months ago and had been on our potentials list for a while before we actually sent it. To Be Honest we are gutted it did not qualify either.
What kind of music are you planning to send for future contests?
We have spoken about sending a different genre or multiple genres but nothing has been confirmed yet. In all likelihood we will continue as we are and probably just fall foul to political voting like the UK does every time.
We are near the end of the show now with only an interview and live performance to come from Clare Bowen but before those keys hear the studio version of our first EVER(copyright ) final qualifier in the form of black roses
Omg at the flawless show so far *.*
Hello Clare. Congrats on being the first ever qualifier from Ultraviolenceland. How does it make you feel?
Thanks very much. I feel so happy and proud to be our very first finalist as Ultraviolenceland is an amazing country and I feel so proud to be flying the flag for us.
Are you nervous for your performance on Monday?
I am nervous but I think I can pull it off hopefully
You are not the first contestant from Nashville to represent Ultraviolenceland. Hayden Panettiere also did but fared a lot worse?
Yeah it was a shame as I don't know what went wrong, maybe it's because the other countries don't love country. I think it is a cracking song and I am glad it was a massive hit that it deserved to be in the charts and it should have done way better than it did in the semi finals
And lastly where do you think you will finish?
I'm not too sure I'll do that well considering I was bottom of some odds for semi finals but I am just looking forward to an amazing experience
Thanks Clare and good luck in hushkanukia
To finish off tonight here is Clare Bowen performing her beautiful track black roses
Thanks to everyone who has been here tonight and watched and I have been Lana Del Swift and goodnight. Also a final good luck to Clare for BJSC
Also make sure to attend the afterparty with stars such as Taylor swift, Charli XCX, Lana del Rey, Britney Spears, Beyonce, the saturdays, Nadine coyle, Mollie king and more will be
The Britney speaking part is aimed at most of you
First final, last place. Clare is already on her way back home and you're all horrible (apart from a few of you)
EDIT: can anyone see the video???
Ultra, at least now you know you have the potential to qualify. You can only come back bigger and better
There were so many great songs at the bottom but it sucks that it was your first final after so many DNQs as well Some of us are used to being bottom table in the final
Take it as a positive that you got to the final UV, your best result to date! The only way is up gurrrrl.
I'm actually really surprised/disappointed at how badly this did in the end! Was expecting it to get big points from a fair few people but that just ended up not happening. This is a really lovely song if not something I'd vote for. At least it was a first qualifier for you though ~

Kinnie Finishes 25th or 26th
Now time for a Fairytale:
Part 1: Rise Ha Flop
Once upon a time in a land far far away, Kinnie Lane representing Ultraviolenceland becomes a surprise smash. As her fantastic song Je Te Suivrai starts slaying at the start with it being consistently top 10. 25 votes in (over a 1/3 of them) Kinnie is happily sitting in the top 3 smashing all competition away. However though the evil BJSC monsters arrive in full force and knock poor princess Kinnie back down to earth. Kinnie faces a massive tumble with many point drafts (though later on it is realised it is actually droughts) so Ultraviolenceland was feeling quite weak. Well now it's that time where Kinnie defeats the villains and they all live happily ever after. Well...... That don't happen as Kinnie continues to stumble and stumble quicker than Pixie Lott's career though she starts to stabilise eventually. She hopes to finish top 20 for obvious reasons, 22 in connection with a pop legend or 24 as it is my favourite number ever. Though Kinnie is disappointed (plug Chloe howl song here) as she finishes in 25th or 26th which is a massive comedown for her, even though this higher than her original expectations and smashes Clare ha banished from Ultraviolenceland Bowen flop, more was expected after her strong start. Anyway Kinnie's head hurts after all the fallings and the Ultraviolenceland national guardian officials are unhappy. It looks like this story will not end happily ever after.
The end for now
Part 2 will be up in about 15 minutes if there is demand or tomorrow if their isn't
Part 2 is called comedown and the headache
EIAFIT: I'm tited, you get patt 2 tomorrow :szz:
First post updated with a graph with loads of information and some more information underneath
Hope you like it and please comment feedback on it
Great update Sam!
you do realise you sent 'Swept Away' by Parra For Cuva and not 'Wicked Games'

BJSC 83: CLUE
IT'S TIME *.*
Was this specific track on a Google ad? Because if so I may be after it too
Bumping this as I'm still with the same entry *.*
Just here to say that 'Dilute This' is one of my favourite songs of the moment. I really liked it during the contest but it's taken to a whole new level after seeing them live the other week. What a tune
11TH AGAIN. Our peak NOW TWICE.
YES at your best entry also being your joint highest peeking
#UpWithCountry
Our entry this month is the fantastic SKIES with Drone. This is our first foray into just completely indie/alternative music and is an incredible and beautiful song so hope this goes down well!
(I'm on phone or if have posted a video link X)

Hey hey hey and welcome to the Ultraviolenceland re-brand, let's get a few things clear first!
A: We are NOT changing our name! Well we might in the future but for now we are sticking with our current name *.*
B: Lana Del Swift has been overthrown as the President of our land due to running away half a year ago, she will now become a princess and has been replaced as President by her sister Elsa Del Swift who will oversee our current entries
So let's get to the first two of three things we will be covering tonight:
ONE: OUR FLAG:
Our flag is very popular among Ultraviolenceland residents and was entered into the flags of BJSC competition a few months ago. We slayed and came 87th* in the countries that participated
*That's 87th out of 87th with a dead last average
So we are holding a referendum. Do you want a new Ultraviolenceland flag or do you love our current one and want it to stay? If the majority opts for a new flag, is there anyone who wants to become the artist for Ultraviolenceland?
TWO: INDEPENDENCE DAY
We would like to invite all countries to our upcoming Independence Day which will be taking place on the 13th August. We will be celebrating special events on this day; a rundown of our best selling entries and other countries best selling entries in our official chart with many other activities. If you want you country to be included in these celebrations, please reply with your RSVP in this thread or by PM with a gif of Elsa from Frozen or Stooshe or Lana Del Rey
THE THIRD PART WILL BE OUR NEW MAP AND NEW TOURIST ATTRACTIONS. That specacle will be unleashed on you within 20 minutes *.*
In the meantime comment on the above and answer anything I asked and your thoughts *.*
(This is the less interesting part done, prepare for fireworks with our map rebrand x)
intrigued to know what "rebrand" in this context could be I would normally assume a dramatic change in genre of entries, but somehow I don't think it's the case. I'll consider the talk about country names in the other thread and assume it's the country name you are changing
EDIT: lol how awkward I post this and then by the time I do, UV posts :')
the flag is iconic so
Oh exciting pupok would love to be part of your celebrations
im in
i feel conflicted on the flag issue
im here and coming to you
Jadakissnia are all in for your celebrations *.*
Your flag is kinda ikonec but i think i'd like to see a new one!
Sam's new flag looks incredible! I can't wait for her to show you all
Flag change referendums *.* hopefully this shall be more successful than the time I tried that lmao.
A new flag would be good (as iconic as the http://i.imgur.com/6IIo2Ls.png is), preferably one with less Frozen in it x
(also Persephonia would love to be included in these celebrations whatever that might entail)
I just made Sam a really good flag
Can someone paste it here
The map is coming in 5 to 10 minutes, be prepared *.*
Deleted because Lindsey threw a tissy fit
Bre pls make this into a ball
love it xxxx
AND HERE IT IS- OUR NEW MAP: Let's take a look at our new tourist attractions!
1. Witch Prison- Witch Prison has been placed on the border between us and Hushkanukia to stop the influx of Hushkanukian residents trying to come into our town because we take all our flights from their airport. Witch Prison is where any of the Ginger Witches from across the border will end up if they try to enter, unless they are invited.
2. Lexa Base- Our army base and this is sponsered by Taahino who pump in money and resources for a strong army to defeat some of the other evils around us. Queen Lexa leads the army and takes charge of all the training.
3. Sebby Cinemaplex- Our multi-screen massive cinema which is ran by residents from Avalonia who aim to give our residents the best cinematic experience, which includes fantastic films and an advert with all the #2017 campaigners before every movie.
4. Titti Embassy- Because we need one or we would turn into the biggest mess. Though the embassy part is more run by Tim due to the other half's loyalty lying elsewhere..
5. Shrek Land- In our multi-park fair attraction which features rides, rollercoasters and amazing snacks- all Shrek themed of course. If you wanna have a good day, experience thrilling Shrek rollercoasters and try Shrek cookies here *.*
6. Bully Clique Lower School For Bitchcraft and Shadiness (BCLSFBAS)- Our lower school where we train nice innocent youngsters into bitchy hoes and perfect the master of shadiness. We train these kids until they pass, when they head to Yehesi to go to university. If they fail they have three options: stay in UVLand, go to Beaverdonia and be reformed by Michael or become a worker at the Hushkanukian Brothel.
7. The Unovia Arena- Our music arena featuring the best artists from BJSC, all our previous artists (apart from the crap ones) and occasionally the Australian singer due to the arena being sponsered by Unovia *.* This arena will invite one act each month to perform as soon as the semi's open so if you are interested in this, drop me a PM!
8. The Ultraviolenceland Museum- The place to see everything Ultraviolenceland-ish. From costumes to records to everything you want to know, our museum has absolutely everything. For only £850,000 you can tour round our incredible museum for 20 minutes
9. The Official Stooshe Monument- We wanted a statue to honour the queens who have given us so much in life, this statue is for the incredible Stooshe and notes are left all around their to profess their love to our queens.
10. Tesoro Shopping Centre- And the shopping centre from across the border in Hushkanukia spreads to here as the Tesoro Shopping Centre sells £1 goods with an incredible mascot our main seller, you won't find that in the likes of Pupok. The Tesoro Shopping Centre is gigantic and has everything you want *.*
We hope you like our new attractions *.*
The stooshe monument and Shrek theme park *.*
I hold up my half of the titti embassy x
Sounds like a lush holiday place
These attractions I love the Official Stooshe monument for sure
Pls delete that Bray
Yay for the update! *.*
Oh dear another Tesoro shopping centre. Watch out Sainsbury's and Morrisons, you've got competition.
And one more lil treat is coming up for y'all x
Is it the announcement that UVland are donating all their money to pupok
Lol they probably need it more
Announcement: 22:15

I've thought this over a while now and I've decided that I'm going to be leaving BJSC. I just don't feel I love it as much anymore and have nothing I wanna send so I feel like quitting it so that's what I'm gonna do Thanks for all the discoveries while I've participated though!
Samalam please don't leave us You have provided some right tunes this year.
(though ofc I respect your decision if this is definitely what you wanna do)

TOP 20 Breakdown:
Pupok: x5
Hushkanukia: x3
Taahino: x3
Yehesi: x3
Ramrynia: x2
Altyr Muunalinst: x1
FSR Rontvia: x1
Land Of DW: x1
Unovia: x1
Good Pupok choices here in the form of 'Girl I Met On The Internet' and 'Einstein'! I was also baffled that the former DNQed, especially after GIRLI had a top 5 hit in BJSC not that long before! Yay for 'Einstein' smashing on the other hand Such a mesmerising song.
'Mirage' was one of Unovia's best this year and same with 'Save It' for FARC! That was a fantastic winner.
omg 8 pupok songs in the top 30!!! *.* YES
#20-#21
20. Taahino/ Icon For Hire- Now You Know (MAY)
An absolute feminist anthem and this allowed me to give Taahino their first +18 from me! Another song from the same month has overtook it for me but its so good still!
19. Unovia/ Rachel Bloom- You Can Touch My Boobies (JAN)
My fave from Unovia this year, just incredible and I really need to watch Crazy Ex Girlfriend!
18. Yehesi/ Nightcall- Dead V (JUN)
Not usually the kind of thing I love but there was something about this which I adored!
17. Pupok/ Vesala- Tequila (FEB)
Incredible and a very well deserved first top 10, hauntingly great!
16. Taahino/ Jule Vera- Die Trying (JUL)
Definitely a Taahino highlight and one of my faves this year!
15. Taahino/ Tonight Alive- How Does It Feel (JAN)
And my highest Taahino entry comes from Tonight Alive! An absolutely incredible song which rly should've been their first top 10
14. Hushkanukia/ Frankie- Gold (OCT)
And the 2nd recycle of a UVLand artist *.* Gold slays and I'm so glad it came top 10, pop anthem!
13. Yehesi/ Era Istrefi- Bonbon (FEB)
It's impossible to resist Bonbon and it ends up in lucky number 13th! It probs would've been higher a few months ago but I don't go back to it as much as I used to!
12. Land Of DW/ Ward Thomas- Carry You Home (AUG)
Absolutely adore Ward Thomas and Carry You Home is incredible and I'm really happy it made the final!

This also slays and was an absolute pop anthem that I still listen to regularly!
Any top 10 predictions?
You really do need to watch Crazy Ex GirlFriend tbh UV I think Rachel Bloom is my favourite Unovia song this year tbh (not a surprise )
Shattered and lost to slay
I can reveal a song jumped into my top 5 at the last second!
And we have a top 10 also now yassss!!!
Would anyone be up for a plug session today at 9:45pm (after filmclub!) for me counting down my top 10 of the year?!
'Now You Know' was probably Taahino's best entry this year! I really thought it was going to be a top 10 for them at last, but alas it wasn't quite meant to be </3
'Dead V' is absolutely spectacular Yehesi really pulled it out of the bag with that one!
Girli, Haschack Sisters and Rich White Ladies are a few guesses for the top 10 As the Ultraviolence-Pupok points stream flow was v high this year!
Kalafina in an EOY I think that's my best moment of the year, at least for how good it made me feel that it qualified. And Tanz Mit Mir just next to it is great to see as well.
Now You Know, Dead V and Tequila are all fantastic tracks of those in your top 20.
#Late

Yaas at it being 'Hey' what got in there. I'm glad that despite 2016 being a relatively bad year for me people have ended up loving TWO of my entries (at least).
Also great countdown UV. Very nice to see comments all along and great format.
Pupok slaying that top 5!!!!! Yes *.*
Brilliant countdown Sam <3
GIRLI was the only song in your top 10 that I voted for So hooray for that at least slaying here *.* She is a bit of a queen.
Great countdown on the whole Samalam <3
You should go back to Liv Dawson more!! (although tbf it's surprising you like it at all )
Yass @ GIRLI and Rich White Ladies. *.
2-7 in ur countdown <3
omg YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Ooh delighted I managed to get a couple of songs here!!
I 100% agree with the top 3 of your own entries, definitely my three favourites, I've got them all downloaded! Blush, Sexual and On Purpose are my favourites in the other countdown
BJSC: 91
Easyfun ft. Noonie Bao- Monopoly
Opinions?!
Thief!!
Love you really Sam.
SAM 2 WIN 2 PISS OFF OLI!!!
I prefer Laplander over Monopoly tbh as it has those 00s eurodance vibes. Monopoly is still good though it sounds like it is relevant enough to be a hit in todays musical climate and is also quite a bit like some of Marshmello's songs. I like the chorus.
We won!!!!!!
YASSSS
YAS BITCH
YAAAAAAAASS hyped for UVLand 92 *.*
Congrats, it all happened so quickly once you finally broke the top 10 ;o looking forward to Ultraviolenceland hosting!
Congratulations Samalam! It was amazing to see you easily take the crown after months of despair trying to crack the top 10! A good song, I chucked it a couple of points in the semi but there were a lot of growers that just pushed it out in the final. Looking forward to your hosting!
Thanks all
The hype thread is coming v. soon and it will include the unveiling of our co-host *.* Any guesses?! <3
Is it someone Riverdale related
Ana Mena returning to us with an INCREDIBLE Spanish dance-pop anthem which is in the final *.* Come hype!
we are in the final xxxx
#3rdUvLandTop10 #ComeOnAna #HypeAna
YAS
This is a bit of a bop tbh. Could see it being another top 10.
POTENTIALS!

Jaded > Skyline > Shotgun > Show Me (LOVE all these)
im almost positive Astrid wud be an AV at this point
the catherine song is okay
Shotgun!!!
Shotgun is my favourite out of the bunch by far!
I may do a survey monkey survey if anyone would rank for me?!
Tbh I think it's just between In The Morning, Show Me & Shotgun now!
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VFX75CM
Vote here please! <3 Just ranking 3 songs!
Completed my set!
Voted! Jaded hopefully its so good!
And we went for Jaded! Hype guys!! <3
YES
And we have qualified!
this is your second entry in a row that I am fully feeling it
Slay! I think this could be another big hit on your hands. What a change in fortune - 2017 appears to be the year of Ultraviolenceland thus far *.*
And we won again wtaf 😮😮💜💙
Yes UVland *.*
Congratulations!! I guess it's a good thing your original entry was vetoed!?
Congrats Sam! A really great choice! So catchy!
Congrats Samalam! I did like your previous winner 'Monopoly' but didn't quite point it in the final. So I'm even happier that 'In The Morning' has won for you as I actually did point this one! Total banger, along with '4000hz' by them. Looking forward to heading back to Ultraviolenceland next month if you're hosting again~
'In The Morning' is so so good, great to see it won here!
Ultraviolenceland are fast becoming one of my fave countries of the year, I didn't see that coming.
(I'll take that back if you send a country entry )
And this month we have gone with our other big contender from last month, 'Shotgun' by Rebecca & Fiona
Hope you like!
And we came 21st AGAIN which means Marmozetes joins Georgia and Frankie in being our 3rd DNQ in a row to finish in 21st! (And the one before that finished 22nd and just missed the final!). So if the top 22 went through our Q streak would be from mid 2015
So what do guys want from us next month as we aim to finally get back on form!
Gahh at you coming 21st twice in a row, I was really hoping that 'Play' would have done quite well, was looking forward to it being the first time I've given you big points in the final </3 thanks for sending it anyway, I'm sure you can bounce back next month ~
#Justice4Marmozets
More rock! Your best entry for a long time, I could have so seen myself sending that
It was a very nice reminder of seeing them supporting Muse though.
This bowing out in the semi was a huge shame! Really thought you had a qualifier on your hands, especially after the fellow rocky entry from Taahino was announced through. Thanks for the discovery anyway as I did like it enough to chuck a couple of points its way *.*
BJSC 99:
The "HEY"s in the chorus remind me of Love Myself by queen Hailee *.*
Ana Mena deserves better
This 2 win x
Hannah Jane Lewis scored us our 3rd top 2 hit this year with the pop-bop Raincheck
BJSC 100:
you really aren't ready.
BJSC 100:
After ma-ma-pa-pa-pa perfect illusion was vetoed, we have instead gone full on pure-pop with this bop *.* <3
WINNER. Y'know, unless Smile.dk gets there first.
2017 Summary:
01 easyFUN ft. Noonie Bao - Monopoly
06 Ana Mena ft. CNCO - Ahora Lloras Tu
01 Jaded - In The Morning
31 Rebecca & Fiona - Shotgun
28 Fanny Anderson - Kids
40 Naika - Ride21 Georgia Denton - Prisoner In Motion21 Marmozetes - Play
02 Hannah Jane Lewis - Raincheck
06 Olivia Holt - Generous
So after only having one finalist in our two and a half years entering, this year we scored five (including our first two wins) in definitely our most successful year! <3 Those 5 are probs up there with my fave entries I've ever sent also so thanks everyone who's voted <3
Semi-Finishes for 2017:
01 easyFUN ft. Noonie Bao - Monopoly (projected 2nd)
n/a Ana Mena ft. CNCO - Ahora Lloras Tu
01 Jaded - In The Morning (projected 1st)
n/a Rebecca & Fiona - Shotgun
08 Fanny Anderson - Kids
20 Naika - Ride (would've been 21st without deduction for another country!)21 Georgia Denton - Prisoner In Motion21 Marmozetes - Play
02 Hannah Jane Lewis - Raincheck
01 Olivia Holt - Generous (projected 2nd)
So pretty much everyone bar Fanny/Olivia kept their exact position or kind of projected one (e.g. Naika doubling 20)! So nearly 3 21st places and also 3 semi wins!
What's your fave entries from us this year?!
Monopoly and Generous are probably my two faves of the year overall besides my own, let alone just UVLand
My favourite Ultraviolenceland entry this year is 'In The Morning' by Jaded I think! I already loved '4000Hz' so it was pleasing that this turned out to be another strong Jaded song. It's a shame that it never quite became a real life hit. But I feel like it will have a good shot in TBO this year because it was on the verge of being a hit Is that the only entry of yours I pointed this year?! I liked 'Monopoly' and 'Ahora Lloras Tu' as well, you had a really strong start this year.
Tbqh UVLAND have two underrated DNQ's there as I liked them a lot.
also I did love a lot of your Q's too Easyfun, Jaded, Ana Mena and Raincheck
In case you somehow haven't noticed by now, I'm taking a break from bjsc I just don't have the time or effort anymore to listen to 60+ songs each month and vote and I also lost my love for the competition ngl
Idk how long this hiatus will go on for, it may be a couple of months or it may be a saturdays/girls aloud/one direction 'hiatus' and I don't return at all! Atm I'd probs only return if I have the combination of the right song and right timing!
(Also liv Dawson to win this month thx x)
I'm returning next month.
you aren't ready. that's all I'm saying.
FINALLY.
buzzing!
This better not be an April fool’s joke
A bop *.*
The YouTube description x
amazing *.*
What kind of person would wish hell on this guy xx
I like the change of direction you have taken since you returned to the contest. You would have got points from Rolloland for the first time if I had been in your semi-final in the last contest and I like this one as well.
My king of true liars *.*
Amazing
It is hopefully a winning contender! If I sent it it would be a nul pointer of course
Yes Sam, this needs to qualify please
Y'all hell wishers.
GUTTed this is out where is the taste smh
You have just leapfrogged Pupok and Aquafina as me fave bjsc nation EVER
This HAS TO WIN!!!
omg not it being TWO YEARS since this thread has had any activity!!!!
and WTF is the thread title!! I am crying, lemme keep that ahahaha
anyway here's our entry this month:
You may remember Izzy Bizu back in the day from the bop White Tiger but she's come out of nowhere this year for a PERFECT comeback, fully on trend with killer production and fab vocals *.* one of my fave songs I've sent in ages and hope y'all enjoy
the way Faded is my only non-trolling entry on this page *.* (and the way all 3 of my trolling entries are genuine bops and 3 of my fave things I've ever sent *.*)
3rd bump in a row (it's been 2yrs idec x). omg my poor iconic flag no longer being available, f*** tinypic icon of coming last in the flag rate *.*
my first post is sending me. Unfortunately we've missed Break It Off and Easter Penguins this year but look forward to Ultra's Land Day in exactly one week x
Omg the rudeness of Tinypic.
Your flag is preserved here but sadly not in full resolution ofc:
(also living for your subtitle still referencing the icon Vennu Mallesh xx)
just wanna say
ur entry this month
my GOD it's good x
Izzy came 2nd <3 <3 time for an update of how my entries have done its been 84 years *.*
no, thank you for the discovery!! <3
Ultraviolenceland Entries:
wow the 80's were frustrating, I remember when I thought I'd never hit top 10 after that period messT that I have only had 2 non-anniversary top 10's since 2018 oops, imma flop x
