As the title might suggest, a thread to berate the lack of, or argue for the return of certain TV faces from years gone by that maybe don't appear on the box much these days.
I start this thread in light of the fact I was watching James Corden's Late Late Show which started in America a few months ago via FilmOn this evening - one of his guests on tonight's show was this lady... Ah, Cat. I know she's based more in the States these days doing 'So You Think You Can Dance' (I'm sad that never really took off in the same way here) but I'd love to see her back doing a big league show here. Or failing that, an SMTV reunion show with Ant and Dec. Imagine! |

Cat Deeley is/was amazing So personable.
I think the main ones for me are June Sarpong and Miquita Oliver, they were C4 staples back in the day! |

Lorne Spicer
It used to be impossible to watch BBC1 in the daytime and not see this woman at least 15 times. She was hilarious for all the wrong reasons and I miss her. "The Jones family from SHREWSBURY have had a REALLY SUCCESSFUL DAY at the auction house. They've sold ALL of their family heirlooms and raised THIRTY FIVE POUNDS towards a luxury pampering session. See you next time on CAR BOOT IN THE ATTIC." |

Her and Simon Amstell on Popworld were TV gold! The last I saw of her she was on that show where Z Listers pretended to be low wage earner Victorians and got shouted at by the bloke off Salvage Hunters in a top hat. Deserves far better! |

Philippia Forrester who used to co-present Robot Wars with Craig Charles. I love that show, and I loved Phillipa in the pits she actually was interested in what the roboters had to say, so much better than pregnancy replacement Julia Reed and channel 5 replacement Jayne "do you mind if I constantly change my accent even in the middle of a word" middlemiss |

Oh please. Cat Deeley was an empty void!
Does Miquita Oliver still get TV work? I have a dislike for most known presenters but she was brilliant. |

Michael Barrymore. He lost a lucrative TV career and there was never any proof that he did anything wrong. Used to love Strike It Lucky/Rich and My King Of Music and was in the studio audience for the latter show once. Wife's friend used to be his housekeeper!

A real shame what happened to Michael Barrymore. It always remain with him with what happened in 2001. He is suing the Essex police over his damaged career.
