If Should've Said No is in the bottom few I won't be held accountable for any accidental slips of my finger that lead to raised warning levels for those who gave it low scores kink.gif

I think 'Blank Space' could be a good bet to win this, it seems to have universal acclaim!

Quick question: Does anyone know any places to get the audio for the 1989 tracks [bar shake it off + blank space]

This Love Is Good, This Love Is Bad

31. Safe And Sound // Classic Favourites // 6.9375 // Lovers: Jahq [10], Ryan [9.5] // Haters: Riser [3.5], Blank Slayberry [4]
32. This Love // 1989 // 6.852941176 // Lovers: Liam, Joe, Ultraviolence1989, Ryan [8] // Haters: Cameron [3], Blank Slayberry [5]
33. You Are In Love // 1989 Deluxe // 6.7 // Lovers: Billy [10] // Haters: Blank Slayberry [3], Cameron [5]

So we have a soundtrack track, a deluxe edition track and an average album track kicking off the first section. Finishing bottom of thee rate is You Are In Love with a still good average of 6.7 and is taken from the deluxe edition of 1989 and is definitely one of the weaker tracks. Next up is This Love which again is a nice track bur is just average and one of the weakest songs on 1989. This is proven by This Love receiving 13 of a possible 17 votes between 7 and 8. And last up is Safe And Sound [Ft The Civil Wars] from The Hunger Games soundtrack. The song received a great critical reception and peaked at #67 in the UK and #30 in America. Continuing the trend of this section, the song is very nice but is just an average Taylor track which I don't know how it made the top 17 of the last Taylor rate.

You Are In Love clicked with me the other day and I'm in love with it now! Wish it was higher.

Posted by: J▲hq Jan 25 2015, 01:05 PM

Very happy with the bottom two. "This Love" is good but I'd call it the weakest track from the standard edition of 1989 now with "Welcome To New York" growing, which is testament to how great the album is.

"Safe & Sound" was a huge grower, it really clicked when the movie was released. Absolutely beautiful and fits extremely well with The Hunger Games, wish it could be a bit higher.

This Love clicked with me just a few days ago. Her vocals on it are so hypnotizing and magical heart.gif

They are the hunters, we are the foxes AND WE RUN/You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin size bed

26. All Too Well [More 11's] // Classic Favourites // 7.882352941 // Lovers: Liam [11], Ultraviolence 1989, Jahq [10] // Haters: Joe [5], Nick, Billy [6]
27. Clean [Less 11's] // 1989 // 7.882352941 // Lovers: Billy [10], Johnkm [9.5] // Haters: Blank Slayberry, Jack500, Josh [6]
28. I Know Places // 1989 // 7.735294118 // Lovers: Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn, Jahq [10], Liam [9.5], Joe [9] // Haters: Blank Slayberry [3], Jack500 [5]
29. Should've Said No [More 11's] // Classic Favourites // 7.71875 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Liam, Ultraviolence1989 [10], Ryan, Riser [9.5] // Haters: Joe [5], Tim*, Jack500 [6]
30. Eyes Open // Classic Favourites // 7.375 // Lovers: Jack500, Riser, Jahq [10] // Haters: Cameron [3.5], Ultraviolence 1989, Tim* [5]

I am literally raging and crying that two of these songs are here in this section, including 1 in Taylor's top best ever songs cry.gif cry.gif So as we pass an average over 7, lets start off with that song in her best ever 10, the beautiful, heartbreaking and stunning all too well which despite finishing top 10 in the last rate, tumbles to 26 here. All Too Well is just so beautiful and definitely one of the biggest highlights on Red. it should have been a single and a massive smash. Next up is average album track 2 of 4 from 1989 in the form of clean which is a nice album closer but not much more than that. Clean received 10 of its 17 votes between 8 and 8.5. And I am raging again at #28 because how the hell is I Know Places the 2nd weakest track on 1989 in any shape or form, especially that is below bloody I wish you would. I Know Places went to #1 on my personal chart a couple of weeks ago and was the ultimate grower on the album. That 2nd chorus is magnificent, the lyrics are fantastic and how they relate to the media and the song is a gem and masterpiece that hopefully will become a future single at some point. I can imagine it doing great with an October release and an X-Factor performance. The only song from her 1st era here [surprisingly as I would have expected Our Song to be here] tumbles out in 29th in the form of country track Should've Said No. This was definitely one of my favourites when I first heard the album so I wish it did a bit better here though it did manage a great average over 7.7. And at 30 is Eyes Open- another track from The Hunger Games soundtrack despite not featuring in the film. It is definitely one of her weakest tracks and I don't have a clue how it managed to make it into the classic favourites section

Posted by: JosephJamil Jan 25 2015, 02:37 PM

All Too Well, I Know Places and Should've Said No are all way too low sad.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jan 25 2015, 02:38 PM

All Too Well and Should've Said No are in her top 5 best, what even drama.gif

Safe and Sound is stunning, I'd have that considerably higher too laugh.gif

5. Taylor Swift // 7.566666667 // Lovers: Ultraviolence 1989 [10], Ryan [9.5] // Haters: Johnkm [5], Jack500 [6]

Album Highlights:
Our Song
Should've Said No
Tim McGraw
Picture To Burn
I'm Only Me When I'm With You
Teardrops On My Guitar [Pop Version]
Cold As You
Stay Beautiful

This is probably my 3rd or 4th favourite album by Taylor and it is an absolutely stunning country album which I have owned the physical copy of for about 2 months now. The album highlight for me is the gem that is Our Song which is one of my favourite country songs of all time and other highlights include the aforementioned Should've Said No, debut single Tim McGraw, the beautiful Cold As You, great country-pop fun tracks such as Picture To Burn and I'm Only Me When I'm With You and the very nice Stay Beautiful. Teardrops On My Guitar is also a great song and even though the country version is nice, the pop version which is a bonus track gives the song life and is way better and an excellent track. The rest of the album is good but a bit forgettable with Mary's Song probably being the weakest on the album.
The album was released when Taylor was 16 and Our Song was Taylor's first #1 on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart. The album was received positively and has sold over 5M copies in America despite never peaking higher than #5 on the Billboard 200. The album peaked at #81 on the UK album chart but I believe it is certified gold here. Taylor Swift has logged 277 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 as of early 2013, making it one of the 12 longest-running albums in the chart's 57-year history.
This album is amazing and I recommend strongly to buy it smile.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jan 25 2015, 02:56 PM

I do really like the album but with an artist with a discog as strong as Taylor, it's the weakest. Plus all the best tracks ended up on Fearless anyway - except Picture To Burn of course which is probably my top highlight!

Now go stand in the corner and think about what you did

21. All You Had To Do Was Stay // 1989 // 8.352941176 // Lovers: Blank Slayberry, Ultraviolence1989, Riser [10], Ryan [9.5] // Haters: Cameron [4.5]
22. Bad Blood // 1989 // 8.264705882 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn [10], Liam, Joe [9.5] // Haters: Riser [5], Jack500, Tim* [6]
23. I Wish You Would // 1989 // 8.058823529 // Lovers: Billy [11], Jack500 [10] // Haters: Ultraviolence1989, Cameron [6]
24. Better Than Revenge [More 11's] // Classic Favourites // 8.03125 // Lovers: Johnkm [11], JosephJamil, Blank Slayberry, Ultraviolence1989 [10] // Haters: Joe [5], Tim*, Cameron, Billy, Jahq [6]
25. Begin Again [Less 11's]// Classic Favourites // 8.03125 // Lovers: Jahq [10], Ryan, Billy, Cameron [9.5] // Haters: Joe [5], Blank Slayberry, Jack500 [6]

The averages continue to get even bigger as we now pass the 8 mark but there is 1 standout song here, 2 amazing album tracks and 2 ok ones. So just missing the top 20 is great pop track All You Had To Do Was Stay which I wouldn't mind being a single and seemed to be very loved by most people here. Attacking katy track Bad Blood is a pop masterpiece and shows the message of the song very well through its lyrics. The verses are amazing and the chorus is both fun and catchy. I don't know how it made it anywhere near 23rd but anyway by far the weakest track on 1989- I Wish You Would- makes it that high somehow. It is not great and is probably in my top 3 for least favourite Taylor tracks [though innocrap is way worse]. The highlight of this section comes from $l*t shaming Better Than Revenge which is about one of the Jonas brothers and Camilla someone. BTR contains some of my favourite ever Taylor lyrics and it is such a catchy and fun song to scream at the top of your voice. I love the introduction and that chorus is so fun and the verses are great and this is the perfect pop track so I wish it was possibly top 10 here wub.gif And ending this section is begin again which is pretty nice but that is about it to this track and I don't know how it made the top 17 in the last rate either.

So the top 20 has
2 Fearless Tracks
5 Speak Now Tracks
4 Red Tracks
9 1989 Tracks
Predictions?

4. Fearless // 8.65625 // Lovers: Liam, Joe, Blank Slayberry [10], Ryan, Billy [9.5] // Haters: Nick [6.5], Tim* [7]

Album Highlights:
You Belong With Me
Love Story
Fearless
Forever And Always

This is Taylor's weakest album for me and the only one I don't have a physical version of at the moment [I am trying to buy it when I next go to HMV but it will probably be a few months as my local one closed down]. To be honest I think it would be her weakest album for me by miles if it wasn't for the 2 extraordinary singles of pop classic and one of the best songs ever You Belong With Me and UK breakout track Love Story- more on both of those gems later wub.gif Fearless and Forever And Always are my other highlights for the moment and even though it is a fantastic album, Taylor's other 4 are better. This has received a great average of 8.6 and 9 of its 16 scores were over 9.
This is Taylor's 2nd album and was a massive critical and selling success. Fearless was an international breakthrough and huge commercial success for Swift. In the United States, it reached No.1 on the Billboard 200 for eleven non-consecutive weeks, thus setting various records, including the longest chart-topper by a female country artist. It became the best-selling country album of 2009 and the best-selling album across all genres with 5.2 million copies sold. It gave Swift, 20 at the time, the distinction of being the youngest artist in history to have a No.1 album in the United States. In addition to its weeks on top by January 2010, Fearless became only the 18th (of 19) albums to elapse a full year in the top ten of the Billboard 200. With over 7 million copies sold Fearless became the second biggest-selling album in the last five years (behind Adele's 21, with over 10 million copies sold as of late 2012). Elsewhere, Fearless topped charts in Canada and New Zealand and achieved multi-platinum status in six countries. In all, Fearless has sold more than 8.6 million copies worldwide. Fearless is also the most awarded album in the history of country music. [the last few lines are the only bit copied and pasted of all the descriptions in this topic smile.gif]. In the UK the album peaked at #5 and has sold over 500,000 copies

Posted by: Liаm Jan 25 2015, 03:47 PM

I can't rank 1989 against albums I love so much (the previous 3 are all in my top 30 albums of all time) but I'd say probably Fearless is fourth laugh.gif More filler than the next 3, although it has huge highlights (Love Story, the title track, the songs carried over from the debut and especially You're Not Sorry <3).

No HUGE losses in that last songs section, Bad Blood gets a bit of a hard time and I love Better Than Revenge though,

Posted by: Blank Slayberry Jan 25 2015, 04:37 PM

I wouldn't be too surprised if 1989 is #1. I mean, Taylor just gets consistently better with each album, right?

Surprised "Better Than Revenge" is so low, but glad the filler tracks are being weeded out one by one smile.gif

Posted by: JosephJamil Jan 25 2015, 04:52 PM

Better Than Revenge is amazing and in my top 10 Taylor tracks, should be way higher!

We found Wonderland, you and I got lost in it

16. Back To December // Classic Favourites // 8.75 // Lovers: Riser [11] JosephJamil, Math, Ryan, Johnkm, Jack [10] // Haters: Cameron [5.5], Joe [6]
17. Wonderland // 1989 Deluxe // 8.71875 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Jahq [11] Ultraviolence1989, Liam, Math, Joe [10] // Haters: Blank Slayberry [3]
18. Welcome To New York [More 11's] // 1989 // 8.588235294 // Lovers: Liam [11], Jack500, Ultraviolence1989, Billy [10] // Haters: Johnkm, Riser [5]
19. How You Get The Girl [Less 11's] // 1989 // 8.588235294 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Blank Slayberry, Jack500, Ryan, Billy [10] // Haters: Cameron [4.5]
20. Speak Now // Classic Favourites // 8.375 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn, Johnkm, Jahq [10], Ryan, Math [9.5] // Haters: Joe [5]

An absolute fantastic bunch of tracks here. Starting us off is the track that shares its name with her best ever album yet. Speak Now is an absolutely amazing track and is one of Taylor's best ever songs which peaked at #8 in America. Two album tracks from 1989 received the same score- Liam's favourite Welcome To New York and the coca cola advert one How You Get The Girl. And happily the better of the song is higher as it received more 11's. How You Get The Girl is a very good track however it is definitely one of the weakest on the album. It received 5 10's and is the first song to receive and average of over 8.5. Welcome To New York is a lot higher than I expected and is the very good track opener of 1989. The song sneaked into the top 40 a few months ago at #39. Next up is Wonderland which I don't have a clue how it is only a deluxe album track when it should easily be on the main album. The song received a lot of love here including the first song to receive over 1 11 and another 4 voters giving it a 10. And finishing of this section is the very nice but really shouldn't be this high or in the classic favourites Back To December which I believe is about Taylor Launtner. This also went top 10 in America.

Posted by: JosephStyles Jan 30 2015, 07:20 PM

that's an amazing section, all are absolutely flawless wub.gif I hope Wonderland/Speak Now being so low is because this is such a strong bunch.

Posted by: Liаm Jan 30 2015, 07:28 PM

How You Get The Girl is probably one of the weaker 1989 tracks nowadays for me, but the others are all incredible wub.gif

Time to start going 1 by 1

The best people in life are free

15. New Romantics [More 11's] // 1989 Deluxe // 8.78125 // Lovers: Ultraviolence1989, Billy, Ryan, Jack [10] // Haters: Jack 500 [5]

HOW IS THIS A DELUXE TRACK. HOW IS THIS A DELUXE ALBUM TRACK. HOW IS THIS A DELUXE TRACK. HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW.
I really don't know how this is only a deluxe album track but I really hope it still gets a single release at some point. New Romantics is the classic example of a perfect fun amazing pop track with great lyrics and such a catchy beat. I can easily see this being a single and it should hopefully become one. This was a personal chart #1 for me and 12 of its 16 rates were above a 9.
Two big shocks coming up in the next two. Guesses?

HOW DID I NOT GIVE THIS A 10

Posted by: Liаm Feb 1 2015, 04:40 PM

New Romantics is amazing, I should have given it a 10 too laugh.gif I'm thinking that about so many tracks that have gone by oops, I wasn't generous enough!

It better not be Love Story

14. Enchanted [More 11's] // Classic Favourites // 8.78125 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Ryan [11], Ultraviolence1989, Blank Slayberry, Liam, Jack500, Jahq [10] // Haters: Joe [6], Math [6.5]

HOW IS THIS SO LOW cry.gif Well the winner of the last Taylor rate fumbles into 14th place here so all of its lovers didn't turn up sad.gif This is one of Taylor's best ever songs by miles and is an absolutely beautiful ballad about how enchanting it was to meet someone. The track is 6 minutes of sheer brilliance and is in my favourite 5 Taylor tracks ever. The chorus is sing out loud pour your heart out worthy and the verses are beautiful. The track is heartbreaking and a masterpiece at the same time wub.gif This deserves to be so much higher and I wouldn't have mind it winning again because it is so great.

Posted by: JosephStyles Feb 1 2015, 04:51 PM

WHAT at this being so low? sad.gif Her best track easily for me, so stunning in every way cry.gif

WHAT

13. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together // Classic Favourites // 8.794117647 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Ryan, Ultraviolence1989, Blank Slayberry, Liam, Billy, Acidburn, Jahq [10] // Haters: Johnkm [4], Joe [6]

And another track exiting shockingly early in the form of the lead single from 4th album Red, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE BLOODY STARLIGHT TO COME [which is like her 60th best track]. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together is another pop classic and would sneak into my favourite 10 Taylor tracks ever. The video and the lyrics are absolutely amazing and this is a sing-a-long anthem, especially the chorus and talking bit. This was Taylor's first big hit since marry me Juliet and stayed in the top 10 for 10 weeks I believe. It was also Taylor's first EVER #1 single in America [where it stayed there for a long time] and peaked at #4 here. I expected this to at least make the top 10 and it deserved to, such a great lead single and track wub.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles Feb 1 2015, 05:10 PM

Literally my top 2 Taylor tracks there sad.gif

NO STARLIGHT SHADE THOUGH PLEASE

Posted by: Liаm Feb 1 2015, 05:20 PM

WANEGBT is in my top 10, but I did expect it to be maybe about there to be honest.

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 Feb 1 2015, 05:23 PM

You've got that James Dean daydream look in your eyes

11. Sparks Fly // Classic Favourites // 8.9375 // Lovers: Jack500 [11], Jack, Billy, Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn, Jahq [10] // Haters: Cameron [4], Nick [7.5]
12. Style // 1989 // 8.911764706 // Lovers: Blank Slayberry [11], Ryan, Ultraviolence1989, Tim, Jack500, Jahq [10] // Haters: Johnkm [6.5]

So Sparks Fly and Style are the final 2 songs to miss the top in this Taylor rate. I am so shocked sparks fly made it anywhere near this high. I love it though it should be around 20th. Sparks Fly is the 2nd track on Speak Now and is a fantastic country track which also did well in the American charts I believe. And in 12th it is future single which should hopefully have a video soon- Style. I cannot wait for this video and I am anticipating it so much after the masterpieces of the SIO/BS videos. I presume the video will be released in the next 9 days [around the impact date] and I wonder if she will perform this at the Brits this month. Anyway it is a fantastic pop track and even though I am not convinced it should be a single due to the amazingness of 1989, I don't mind it being a single as it is amazing.

3. Speak Now // 9.4375 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Liam, Joe, Ultraviolence1989 [11], Blank Slayberry, Math, Jack500, Ryan, Billy [10] // Haters: Nick, Tim* [7]

Album Highlights:
Mine
Mine
Mine
Mine
Mine
Enchanted
Mean
The Story Of Us
Haunted
Better Than Revenge
Sparks Fly
Speak Now

This is Taylor's best ever album and deserved to be top wub.gif Her 3rd album contains gems such as mine, mine, mine, mine and mine which is her best song ever and one of the best songs of all times and an absolutely perfect album opener wub.gif $l*t shaming Better Than Revenge, haunting Haunted, inspirational Mean and the story telling the story of us are the main highlights on this perfect country album which could actually be my favourite album ever. The title track and Sparks Fly are also 11/10 moments while back to December, dear john and never grow up are all great as well while last kiss is beautiful and long live is great. It is just a shame this album contains her worst song EVER in the form of crappicent. The album received four 11's from me and the amazingness of JoeLiamJoe for giving this album an 11. This also received 5 10's wub.gif
Speak Now debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, giving Swift her second consecutive chart topper in the US. Its first week sales of 1,047,000 copies was the fifth biggest debut in history for a female artist, the third biggest ever by a country album (the first being Swift's own Red album later released in 2012), the biggest in five and one half years and ultimately, the biggest first week sales of 2010. The album also made music history for claiming the biggest one-week sales tally for an album by a female country artist. As of 2014, Speak Now is ranked 17th in United States history to sell one million copies in a single week. It was also an international success, charting within the top 10 in several countries, including Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The album has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA and, as of January 2015, has sold 4.5 million copies in the United States. It is also the tenth best-selling digital album of all time. The album peaked at #6 in the UK.

Top 10 predictions from anyone?

Speak Now is incredible <3 Full of perfect songs, the only one I don't like is Never Grow Up which is a bit twee and dull imo. Dear John is SO underrated, it's one of my faves from the album along with Haunted, Mean, Mine, Sparks Fly and of course Enchanted wub.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles Feb 1 2015, 05:45 PM

Speak Now is almost flawless, should definitely have been #1 here imo!

10. Starlight // Classic Favourites // 8.96875 // Lovers: Nick, Cameron, Tim* [11], JosephJamil, Jack500, Billy[10] // Haters: Blank Slayberry [6], Joe, Ultraviolence1989 [7]

HOW???? Starlight is really good but in a discography that contains tracks like We are...., all too well, I know places, new romantics and 90% of the other songs in this rate so far and 70% of her songs that didn't make this rate, HOW THE HELL DID IT MAKE THE TOP 10. It is probably like my 60th-70th favourite from her as it is good but nothing special. Anyway you all loved and it was just shy of a 9 average rating and received 3 11's and another 2 10's. Moving on quickly..

Starlight has such a wonderful vibe to it, so happy and upbeat, it's stunning wub.gif

9. Shake It Off // 1989 // 9 // Lovers: Jack500, Ultraviolence1989, Ryan [11], JosephJamil, Liam, Math, Blank Slayberry, Josh, Acidburn, Tim*[10] // Haters: Johnkm [2]

My first track I rated an 11 and the track which should be 2nd in this rate falls out in 9th sad.gif . If Johnkm didn't rate SIO a 2, this would have been 3rd ohmy.gif ohmy.gif Shake It Off is a flawless perfect amazing fantastic superb spectacular super great pop track and the best 2014 released track. The horn sounds so amazing and Taylor's vocals flourish and this sick beat it definitely has. The verses are amazing, the chorus is amazing and this track is amazing. I have played it over 180 times on my IPhone [just plays from version I bought] and over 220 times on my IPod so as you can tell I have heard this a lot of times and it remains flawless wub.gif The track was a massive chart success where it debuted at #1 on the billboard hot 100 and spent forever in the top 2 and is still top 5 I think and it is also her 2nd biggest hit here where it spent 11 weeks top 10 [most without streaming and about 15/16 on sales chart] and is still top 30 and has been a gigantic success wub.gif

8. Red // Classic Favourites // 9.1 // Lovers: JosephJamil, Liam, Cameron, Jack500, Ultraviolence1989, Ryan, Billy, Acidburn, Tim*, Johnkm, Riser, Josh [10] // Haters: Joe [3]

So we have another track that would have been so much higher if one member didn't vote [this time it is Joe]. I am glad Red did well as it is one of her best tracks and her best title track. I do wish it was pushed as a single properly and it was loved very well here with 12 voters rating this a 10 so it has an average of 9.1. I love Red and it is such an amazing song wub.gif
That is it for today as my laptop is pretty much out of battery smile.gif

Red is amazing, I'd have quite liked it to be a proper single as I'd say it's her most accessible country track along with obviously Love Story!

Yes at Out Of The Woods doing so well and not even showing so far. I am utterly spellbound by it still! heart.gif

A very nice and pleasant surprise in number #7 for the beautiful Wildest Dreams. This was immediately my favourite non-single highlight on first listen and the track sounds a lot like a Lana Del Rey, especially Without You. I really hope Wildest Dreams is a single at one point because it is an absolute beautiful and fantastic track. The chorus is heartbreaking and absolutely stunning and this continues Taylor's form of having one of the best songs of the year which is a ballad on an album [following enchanted and all too well]. I am so happy how well it did and it got 8 10's.

6. You Belong With Me // Classic Favourites // 9.264705882 // Lovers: Ultraviolence1989, Jack500, Ryan, Tim*, Math, Blank Slayberry, Jahq [10] // Haters: Joe [7]

You're On The Phone With Your Girlfriend She's Upset, She's Going Off About Something That You Said wub.gif I had so many lines I wanted to put in that lyric at the top and this is probably the Taylor song I know all the lyrics of the most confidently. This should be top 3 and is an absolute pop piece of history which is a classic gem. The lyrics are magical, the video is magical and I love Taylor dancing on her bed and being on the bleachers also now shows a contrast to the cheerleader in shake it off. The two verses and choruses are amazing but the best part is possibly the bit after the 2nd chorus where all of Taylor's love just pours out. This did ok here peaking around #30 but was an absolutely gigantic hit in America where it peaked at #2 and was one of the biggest sellers of the year and spent around 50/51 weeks in the chart [I have the full chart-run somewhere if anyone is interested]. This is Taylor at her utter best and this deserved someone to give it an 11 but it did well receiving 7 10's and an average of 9.26 wub.gif
That's it for today. Top 5 predictions?

FIRST YOU CAN READ THE LYRICS WHILE YOU REPENT YOUR SIN FOR THIS NOT BEING #1

Uh, Uh ,Uh oh

You were in college working part time waiting tables
Left a small town, never looked back
I was a flight risk with a fear of falling
Wondering why we bother with love if it never lasts

I say can you believe it?
As we're lying on the couch
The moment I could see it
Yes, yes, I can see it now

Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Flash forward and we're taking on the world together
And there's a drawer of my things at your place
You learn my secrets and you figure out why I'm guarded
You say we'll never make my parents' mistakes

But we got bills to pay
We got nothing figured out
When it was hard to take
Yes, yes, this is what I thought about

Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Do you remember all the city lights on the water?
You saw me start to believe for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

And I remember that fight, 2:30 a.m.
As everything was slipping right out of our hands
I ran out crying and you followed me out into the street
Braced myself for the goodbye
'Cause that's all I've ever known
Then you took me by surprise
You said I'll never leave you alone

You said I remember how we felt sitting by the water
And every time I look at you, it's like the first time
I fell in love with a careless man's careful daughter
She is the best thing that's ever been mine

Hold on, make it last
Hold on, never turn back
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine
Do you believe it?
We're gonna make it now
I can see it
I can see it now

5. MINE // Classic Favourites // 9.352941176 // Lovers: Ultraviolence1989, Billy [11], Jack500, Ryan, Cameron, Math, Josh, Jahq [10] // Haters: Joe [7], Nick [7.5] [We are never ever ever getting back together with you 2 tongue.gif]

There have been some bad things about this rate such as overrated starlight in the top 10, all too well, enchanted and WANEGBT all criminally low and some of her best tracks missing out on making it to the first stage but none are worse than this monstrosity of Taylor's best ever single not being #1 let alone top 2, top 3 or top 4 because of 15 disgraces who didn't give this an 11 cry.gif Mine is the lead single from the 3rd album Speak Now [and is also track 1 because it is the best] and was massively successful in America where it peaked at #3. As the UK were stupid in October 2010, it peaked at #30 here. Mine is just the ultimate amazing masterpiece with fantastic lyrics and instrumental but most importantly Taylor has never ever ever sounded better than on Mine. There are 2 versions of Mine- the American version and the English version. I prefer the English version as the guitars slot [I accidentally wrote this with another letter instead of o by accident originally laugh.gif] in perfectly with the track though the American version is perfect as well. Mine is by far Taylor's standout in her stunning discography and is in my top 10 favourite songs ever to exist. This song is marvellous, amazing, superb, spectacular, fantastic, super, great, awesome, incredible, stunning, unbelievable, wonderful, fabulous, astonishing, outstanding, terrific, extraordinary, legendary and about 5 other billion great words to describe this. Mine is Taylor's best ever track which SHOULD have been #1 in this rate.
Billy you're amazing. The other 6 people giving it a 10 are safe. The other 9 of you though [especially Joe + Nick which I just realised is 2/3 of the Jonas Brothers along with the one no one remembers] ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND NEED TO SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER WHY THEY DID NOT GIVE THIS AN 11 OR AT LEAST A 10 mad.gif
Now we can all watch this amazing fabulous video and listen to this stunning song again below:

And now you can GO AND BUY IT NOW from ITunes smile.gif

Posted by: J▲hq Feb 3 2015, 09:05 PM

"Mine" is brilliant but tbf I do think the four songs above it are all better.

The bigger injustice is the overrated "Red" being top 10 whilst songs such as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "New Romantics" and "Wonderland" (how is that not top 15 even??) are outside. "Shake It Off" is overrated too tbh, not one of my top top highlights from the album.

Gotta Love These Starbucks Lovers Got A Long List Of Ex-Lovers

4. Blank Space // 1989 // 9.382352941 // Lovers: Joe, Josh [11], Ultraviolence1989, Liam, Blank Slayberry, Billy, Ryan, Acidburn, Math, Tim*, Jack500, Jahq [10] // Haters: Nick [3.5]

Taylor's legendary misheard lyric about Starbucks lovers with a blank space swings into 4th- just like its official UK chart peak. The song actually topped the chart on downloads alone and as America have better taste at times, this spent a few weeks at #1 on the hot 100, with Taylor creating more history as she overtook her best song this era from the top. I loved this from first listen but I wasn't sure about it being a single with wildest dreams, still to come out of the woods and bad blood sitting on the album [now I know places instead of bad blood] but this IKONIC video above made me so happy this was a single. And you lot are too as this received 12 of its 17 scores being at least a 10 but a very low score from Nick. The song is amazing and I love the lyrics wub.gif The video is absolutely one of her best ever as it sees Taylor defy her stupid stereotype that people who haven't heard 3 quarters of her songs give her and it sees her taking the mick out of her perception as she goes from a loving and kind girlfriend to an absolute bunnyboiler by smashing up cars, burning shirts, throwing phones in pools, smashing vases and torturing. The video is hilarious and a work of art and this song is amazing so I am glad to see it high up [even though it should be low top 10 smile.gif]
Prediction for 3rd?

Probably no video like 90% of the Taylor 1989 tracks

3. Out Of The Woods // 1989 // 9.411764706 // Lovers: Cameron, Tim* [11], Ultraviolence1989, Johnkm, Billy, Ryan, Acidburn, Josh, Jahq [10] // Haters: Jack500 [7]

So the highest track from 1989 is a big surprise for me [I thought SIO could have beat it and I was like 99% sure Blank Space would be ahead of it] as album track/instant grant everywhere in the world but the UK [at least Taylor releases 99.9% of her stuff at the same time as she does in the rest of the world] out of the woods zooms into the top 3. The song received 2 11's and another 7 10's with an average of 9.4. Many people really want this to be a single and I agree with them as it is an absolute stunning track and it would smash big time in the charts [maybe even a first #1 for Taylor]. Though I think Wildest Dreams and New Romantics should be released before, then OOTW with X-Factor Performance October, I Know Places December X-Factor Performance and Bad Blood or AYHTDWS for last single. The song is sensational and it is about Harry Styles [the best member of 1D] and the lyrics are absolute fantastic and the chorus is so haunting that you just want to scream it out loud. Despite many people loving this on here, I am still surprised it is this high and perhaps it is too high [it should be around 15 in my view].
So do you want to marry Juliet or do you know she is trouble? What do you want to win and what do you think will win?

Red and 1989 are both pretty much perfect, so either will be a great winner.

2. Red // 9.46875 // Lovers: Jack500, Acidburn [11], Liam, Blank Slayberry, Joe, Cameron, Ultraviolence1989, Jahq, Billy [10] // Haters: Johnkm [5]

Album Highlights:
All Too Well
I Knew You Were Trouble
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
State Of Grace
Red
Stay Stay Stay
22
Everything Has Changed
Holy Ground

This album is half perfect and half filler and shouldn't be as high as 2nd. Also this means the album results have started from first album [5th] to 2nd album [4th] to 3rd album [3rd] to 4th album [2nd] to 5th album [1st]. Red has some absolute amazing highlights though. All Too Well is probably the best on the album and is heartbreakingly perfect while the big 2 singles are also great- We are... being a fantastic pop track and IKYWT also being amazing. Should have been singles album opener State Of Grace and title track Red are also absolutely amazing. The singles 22 and everything has changed are also great and stay stay stay + holy ground are also very good. However the rest of the album is good but not great. This did very well earning 9 scores between 10-11.
Red was a huge commercial success. In the United States, Red became the fastest-selling album in over a decade after selling 1.21 million copies in its first week, and earned Swift her third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.[40][41] Red has the second highest first week sum by a female artist, only behind Britney Spears' Oops!... I Did It Again (2000), which opened with 1.3 million units.[42] Red had the biggest sales week in 2012[43] and outsold the top 52 albums in the Billboard 200 on its first week. It has also the biggest one week sales for a country album beating Garth Brooks' Double Live which sold 1.085 million copies in 1998. Red sold 465,000 digital copies in its first week in the US, which is the second biggest after Lady Gaga's Born This Way (2011).[42] It sold around 1.459 million copies worldwide in its first week of sales. In the United Kingdom, Swift garnered her first No. 1 album with Red with sales of 61,000 copies on its opening week.[

I think I've decided All Too Well is her best song ever wub.gif

Red is amazing though, I probably prefer it to 1989 actually. Maybe, any of the top 4 would be worthy of winning tbf. My highlights are All Too Well, Red, I Knew You Were Trouble, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and State Of Grace.

Album Highlights:
Shake It Off
Wildest Dreams
I Know Places
Blank Space
Out Of The Woods
New Romantics

Taylor's latest album is all your favourite as 1989 races into the top spot with an average over 9.7. This is Taylor's first ever pop album and the whole album is absolutely amazing and perfect [apart from I wish you would]. Lead single shake it off is a pop anthem and one of the best tracks of all time and blank space rules with a fantastic song and video. I know places and wildest dreams are both beautiful and haunting while out of the woods is stunning. New Romantics is a pop gem and somehow a deluxe track while Wonderland is also amazing. Welcome To New York is a great album opener and AYHTDWS and HYGTG are both fantastic pop tunes. New single Style is also amazing with a beautiful video and clean/this love are both really nice. This album is perfect and received 4 11's and a further 8 10's.
The album was a commercial success, debuting at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and selling 1,287,000 copies in the U.S. during the first week of release. The total U.S. sales figure from the debut week of 1989 was the highest since 2002, and made Swift the first artist to sell one million or more copies of an album in a week-long period for three albums. 1989 eventually became the best-selling album of 2014 in the U.S. market, and in the week beginning January 18, 2015, the four millionth U.S. sale of the album was registered. It was also her 2nd #1 album in the UK and was the fastest selling female solo album of 2014.
So 1989 is your album winner but who will win the singles?

2. I Knew You Were Trouble // Classic Favourites // 9.5 // Lovers: Joe, Blank Slayberry, Acidburn, Jahq [11], JosephStyles, Liam, Math, Nick, Ultraviolence1989, Tim*, Ryan, Josh [10] // Haters: Johnkm [6]

And Love Story is your winner ohmy.gif I was really expecting it to be either this or blank space. The 2nd single from Red was released at the end of 2012 and is Taylor's biggest hit in the UK. The track is also one of her best and the video is life and also one of her best. This peaked at #2 and is an absolutely amazing fantastic superb track which works so well with the dance chorus and stomping verses. The lyrics are amazing and this did fantastically in the rate with an average of 9.5 including 4 #11's and another 8 #10's. She always slays this live and lets watch one of the best performances of all time while we are at this track heart.gif

And the winner is............LOVE STORY. Taylor's breakthrough UK hit and the lead single from 2nd amazing album Fearless was a #2 peaking track here in the UK and I think it is one of the biggest sellers around the world in the last few years. Love Story is a beautiful classic romantic track based on the fantastic story of Romeo and Juliet. This contains some of my favourite Taylor lyrics and she looks so young in the video- I think she was only 18 ohmy.gif I remember always watching the video and singing along the track whenever it came on the music channels. This is one of her best songs so I am glad it did well but I never expected it to win. The verses and choruses are sensational and this is such an all time classic which deserves to be Taylor's worldwide breakthrough and was start of her becoming absolutely massive. This song received only 1 11 but got 9 10's and not a single score lower than 8 which led to a fantastic average of 9.52. So your winner is Love Story smile.gif This is also my only Taylor track I have a physical CD of and I love and treasure it so much. It also contains a fantastic Love Story remix and the beautiful beautiful eyes wub.gif
