James Bourne of Busted has been working on his debut solo album, the lead single 'Everyone is My Friend' is out on Friday! Busted's last album was easily their strongest, and I believe James writes most of their material - so I'm quite optimistic for this.

I feel if James was ever going to be a successful solo artist he should of really released his debut single 15 years ago and release something a lot better than this.

I like the sound on this, but lyrically it's a bit too on the nose for me. Still I'm interested in what's next though.

I think this is more of a passion project for him than anything that's going to be massively successful.

Yep, they're just between albums currently. I reckon the next one will be out next year

'The Beatles' dropped this morning. It's actually got a really nice melody but WTF @ the lyrics - did he write them when he was 10 years old? Lyrically it's one of the worst songs I've ever heard laugh.gif

The title track 'Safe Journey Home' came out on Thursday, definitely my favourite of the 3 so far!

Safe Journey Home is my favourite of the tracks. I am kinda surprised he is doing solo stuff now that Busted have come backin recent years.

Everyone is My Friend is nice, it's quite a chill tracks.

The Beatles, hmmmm.. I think maybe the label should have stepped in about this one haha (maybe it's a grower tongue.gif)
