So they're pushing 'Traitor' rather than 'Brutal' then, as expected. I'm a bit confused about Doja Cat though, I thought 'Woman' was the next single? I'm sure Scott Mills said as much on the chart show last week.
Surprised YUNGBLUD has stalled on the C-list for now, they're usually all over his stuff. Not entirely sure why they're so against moving 'Black Magic' up to the A-list when it's gone top 3 and instead they're keeping it B-listed for the 6th week? There must be some kind of politics involved there. Only 6 new additions is a bit light, hopefully there'll be a bit more of a clearout next week. Not sure why they're sitting on Dermot Kennedy, thought that would have been added a couple of weeks ago now. |

they could have also done a double with Traitor/Brutal
they're always gonna have problems with Doja Cat as every 5 minutes a different song of her blows up on Tiktok nice to see Lorde-Mood Ring up to the A-list! |

Happy to see 'Need To Know' and 'Just for me' added!
I'm sooooo bored of 'traitor', I wish 'brutal' was getting a more focused push but can understand why not, it comparatively hasn't set streaming alight so far despite being track 1 |

Radio 1 did C-List 'So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings' for a couple of weeks as well - good to know that they have taste in Caroline songs (that and 'Bunny Is A Rider' are the only solo tracks from her that I've particularly liked, a pleasant surprise to see that appearing on the playlist this week).
Also had no idea what was going on with Doja Cat with her having several album tracks blowing up at once but very pleased to see that 'Need To Know' appears to be getting the push as her next proper single! (Making a better choice than Olivia did x). Needs to go top 10 ASAP please. Good to see Little Simz, Lorde and CHVRCHES moving up this week too. |
