Welcome back to Taahino where I'm pleased to bring you the Rejects Semi Final 2 results. Unfortunaely, Daehun are in the midst of important negotiations so are unable to host this evening (Yu has a meeting) which is why they've passed the baton to us on this occasion 
We had a total of nineteen voters in the end and fifteen non-voters; 00274E, Ambienta, Buzzjack Mountain, D'yermak'er, Desbuanda, Espen, Helgon, Kylienips, Pagasa, Republique d'Ashton, Tartford, Thelonia, Triangledonia, Umiiruka and Zanmatony who will all receive a 15 point deduction.
stay tuned to see me do a rush job of presenting that will look no where near as pretty as Lew's posts did x

Envio and Felix Aww at 'Flamenco' missing out, the better Dobago one made it but I hoped both would be through.
(ooh I have more points than I thought I'd have got, I clearly underestimated how many songs would end up with <10 points due to the deductions but still thought I would have been out by now. maybe there's still a small chance ;o)

oh shit, I'm just going by Yu's sheet but it looks like he's somehow divided the score by two rather than -15 so Espen actually ends up with 2 points so came 30th and all the other DNQs above Espen should be up a place then, I will link the fixed sheet at the end and fix the scoreboard to show that, it's still the same countries that are through though so it's not a big error, ty for pointing it out :')
So we've got six countries left but only three spaces... who is going through?

yesss *. Those are my two favourite DNQs (maybe alongside CUSCO) so brilliant to see them both get a second chance.
Persephonia and Tartford are sad losses from that lot, but not entirely unexpected.

Gutted that VNV Nation didn't qualify. It misses by one place again. Not only was it my 12 pointer,it was my favourite song from last year's contests.

I gave 'Flamenco' 5 points in the nominations stage, it only barely missed out on getting points from me here because this semi had most of my favourite DNQs of the year in it (including 6 of the songs I gave +7 in nominations)!

Probably the same thing as happened with the Espen song? It's nowhere near qualifying anyway.

aww I think I liked Apocalyptica too so that's annoying but I'm pleased as missing out by one spot would have killed me (not literally) lol and it was the one song of mine I wanted through most so yas!
Granny, Pixx, Imali among others... quite a strong batch of qualifiers there

Sorry I completely missed this as I didn't get home from Uni until 7 and then my Internet connection was down for a couple of hours after that. Anyway all caught up now, I'm generally happy as my top 3 are all through but oops not many of my votes below those making it x
