Worth noting that reportedly Pitball originally wanted Rihanna for 'Timber' but she turned it down in favour for a collab with Shakira. I'm glad they got Kesha on it instead, the song really works.
C'Mon is a jam and the official video is just completely bizarre. We're starting to see a lot of the good songs drop out now but that shows the quality of the records she's put out. |

Blow should have been in the top five.

Cmon is sensational and an essential night out tune for me. I don't get the hate
Also I'm shocked at Blow. Thought it was guaranteed top 5! We R Who We R to win please. |

6th Your Love Is My Drug 8.47
UK peak: #13 (Silver) US peak: #4 (2x Platinum) Highest score: 11 (Jade, Ryan) Lowest score: 3 (Andrew) Just missing the top 5 is a song from Kesha's debut album, and the 3rd single, succeeding Blah Blah Blah. It should have been second really, it's got some crunkcore and elctro elements but really has a pop sensibility with that huge chorus and quite relatabe lyrics of a teenage crush sort of feeling of addiction towards someone, a relationship of codependency. It was a fair sized hit both sides of the Atlantic, and was co-written by Kesha's mother Pebe. |

Why the hell are 'Your Love Is My Drug' and 'Blow' not top 5???
I think they are her best by a good margin |

YLIMD is super catchy but I don't go back and listen to it as much as many of her other singles. There's nothing wrong with it but I don't think it's her best and find 'Take It Off' far superior as a post-album single from Animal.

5th Die Young 8.55
UK peak: #7 (Gold) US pak: #2 (3x Platinum) Highest score: 11 (Andrew, NellyEverySundae, Dobbo, Saenerys, jafetsigfinns, Rob Spears, Klumzee) Lowest score: -1 (Umi) Despite receiving the most 11s, just in front of three songs to come which received 6 of them, Die young comes in 5th! It received significantly less less 10s than most of its rivals to come, and a couple of average and low scores edged it out in what is a very close battle. It's classic Kesha really, something you can't go wrong with but I wouldn't have it this high against her other songs, I'd rank it 7th of these songs so 5th is fine I guess. It does imbue the Kesha formula with some new features such as guitar strums which makes the instrumental quite catchy, moreso than the actual song for me |

Aw 'Your Love Is My Drug' so close to the top 5! I didn't expect it to finish above 'Blow' though so I'm pleased it did, as much as I like that too.
'Right Round' was way too low in this! |

Yeah this was the worst followup they could choose They only chose Blah Blah Blah because it went top 10 on Hot 100 on the album's release week just from pure sales of the song. Her label probably saw that and assumed it would be a hit, but it sadly reached it's peak that week and never really fully recovered once it was officially a single. |

Not HUGE on Die Young (odd considering it's the lead single to one of my fave ever pop albums) but she has so much better. I'd say it's a few places too high ~

4th Praying 8.60
UK peak: #26 US peak: #22 Highest score: 11 (george.keh, Tombo, Scene, UltraReputation, Joseph, Calum) Lowest score: 1 (Shaphne) Just missing the top 3 is Kesha's latest single, the stunning ballad Praying. After 4 years of her career being in uncertainty thanks to a battle with Dr Luke, this felt like the perfect song to come back with! Totally different to any Kesha single prior, Praying is a raw and personal soulful balld with flecks of gospel, perfectly addressing what she's been through in the past fw years and managing to show that she has come back fighting with the Rainbow era. |

Praying and Die Young are my two faves, both are so different but are absolutely brilliant at what they individually do

Nice to see Die Young make the top 5, has been my fave of hers since it was released & nothing has bettered it since. Like the vid too.
Am slowly coming around to Praying (think I gave it my lowest score in this) - a very good ballad. |

03 Take It Off 8.65
UK peak: #15 (Silver) US peak: #8 (Platinum) Highest score: 11 (Shaphne, Tim, Tawdry Hepburn, PAJ88, Cameron) Lowest score: 4 (Jonjo) Missing out on the face off for #1 is the fourth single from Animal, Take It Off. This got an impressive five elevens for its nursery rhyme chorus (from The Girls In France) which sounds silly but works so well with the pulsing beats and autotune. Its nothing new or amazing for Kesha but if ain't broke don't fix it, this is definitely one of her best. |

TIO has grown on me a fair bit over the years! Maybe not that much that I'd put it as high as #3, but it's one of her singles that can please a wider audience than some other singles she's put out.
