Out of all the artist forums on Buzzjack, I feel reflecting on Ariana Grande's 2017 is, perhaps, the most important in terms of bringing about community spirit and reminding people of the goodness that has come from an artist who has previously experienced backlash for her actions. Of course, the main event that occurred was 'One Love Manchester' - the benefit concert that aided recovery in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena Bombing from May this year.

Before we discuss the event, let us think of the happier moments from 2017 regarding Ariana and her career. For the most part, 'The Dangerous Woman Tour' was the main focus this year, with Ariana performing to sold-out crowds all over the world. As someone who has seen Ariana perform live, I need to say that she elevates her songs with her insane live vocals.

Taking a look at music, 2017 saw Ariana release the 4th single from 'Dangerous Woman', 'Everyday'. The video received criticism for its raunchy nature, however, Ariana has stated several times that this is one of her favourite music videos.

2017 also saw Ariana team up with John Legend for a cover of 'Beauty and The Beast' for the live-action release of the film with the same name.

Additionally, following 'One Love Manchester', 'One Last Time' received its highest charting position in the UK chart by peaking at #2 officially. An incredible achievement for Ariana despite the events that caused the rise in the charts.

Finally, the events that shook the world and posters on Buzzjack due to knowing victims personally - the Manchester Arena bombing. I could go into detail about the deaths and the event itself but that would be cruel, negative and I am sure we all know the outcome of the event by now. Ariana was left heartbroken and I don't think that she will ever fully recover from the event. However, Ariana organised 'One Love Manchester' with superstars performing to raise money and show their support for the victims and re-building the broken community. This was definitely the event that made Ariana a household name by propelling her into the superstardom that she deserves.

A big year for one of the worlds most kindhearted and selfless popstars.

What have been your Ariana highlights and what do you think of the 2017 events?

I think how she dealt with the tragedy was so brave and heartwarming to see. She didn't have to produce a benefit concert but she did and it was so inspiring to see. I can see that is the moment the public saw a star in her, I mean her fans knew already due to her talent but that is the moment the public fully could see a star in the making <3

I was also pleased that One Last Time peaked higher than it did already, was so happy for her and how much it raised for charity.

It was such an eventful year for her. To have one of the biggest tours of the year and then having to go through what she and her fans in Machester did, it was so harrowing and I don't think I've been so anxious and nervous about news breaking as I was that night!

The thing that really stuck with me was Ariana's reaction to it all. She was so gracious, humble and incredibly gracious about it all. She earnt nothing but respect from everyone. The benefit concert was simply STUNNING. From the start right the way to the end. My fave part was the speech about her meeting one of the victims family's and how they wouldn't have wanted to hear anything but the hits or something. Which perfectly transitioned into 'Side By Side' (which really wouldn't have been appropriate for this concert in any other way).

I love her and I am excited to see what the future holds for her.

I've been so proud to be a fan of hers this year.

Getting to see her in Birmingham on the Dangerous Woman tour was honestly the best night of my life. I was like 5 rows from the front and so close to her for some of the songs.

What happened in Manchester was so heartbreaking but her reaction was amazing and courageous. I went to the One Love Manchester concert and it was so emotional but beautiful.

She's really been such a star this year and I can't wait for what she does in 2018.

She's going to go stratospheric with AG4 it's amazing to see how much her career rosethis year, of course it would have been nice if it was under better circumstances but it gos to show good people do win in the end. It's astounding how she managed to whip up One Love so quickly with such amazing names, and her performance of Over The Rainbow was such a poignant highlight. She's one of the kindest popstars on the planet and works so hard so any huge success that's sure to come building off of this year is more than deserved.

Yeah, I do think that was has elevated her is not necessarily the tragic event but how she handled it in such an amazing way at every turn. It's really made her a national treasure in people's affections.

I am really interested to see where she goes next, and I do think she's about to go properly stratospheric.
