Commentary : Weeknd's "Starboy" becomes the longest running number one of the year as it gets a 6th week at the top. It overtakes LP's "Lost on you" which sticks at 20 in its 30th week on the chart. However it could be Weeknd's last week as the big love ballad "Why I love you" storms up from 9 to 3. Norwegian producers Seeb crack the top 10 as "What do you love" goes up from 11 to 7. One new entry and it's the return of Jamaican Vybz Kartel who had no less than four Top 10 tracks in my chart in 2010 including one number one and two number twos, "Clarks", "Clarks again", "Straight Jeans and Fitted" and "Cake Soap" and then claimed another number one in 2011 with "Summer Time" followed by a chart entry in 2013 with "Hi" and then"Mamacita" and "Miami Vice episode" in 2014 and "New Jordans" in 2015. Kartel continues to churn out the hits despite his life prison sentence in 2014 for the murder of Clive Williams in 2011.

NUMBER ONE Starboy (Weeknd)

NUMBER TWO Believer (Major Lazer/Showtek)

NUMBER THREE Why I love you (Major)

CLIMBER What do you love (SeeB ft Jacob Banks)

Hey Moth,

After 6 weeks at the top, I shouldn't really be surprised to see The Weeknd still dominating your chart, the biggest crime for me was that it was overlooked for an inclusion in the newly released compilation Now 95. sad.gif

I see that Seeb has climbed slightly this week which is great, and Clean Bandit are doing quite well here too. wub.gif

Also, as you probably know by now, I like to persuade others to view my own personal chart and if possible share a comment on their opinions, so if you haven't already done so, please be sure to check out my latest chart HERE. I'd love to hear your views! smile.gif

Very nice personal chart from you this week, thanks for sharing! cool.gif
