"Love, Simon" is based on the novel "Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda", a book that Jay recommended to me many months ago and I really need to crack on reading! The movie stars Jurassic World's Nick Robinson in the lead role, with Katherine Langford and Miles Heizer from 13 Reasons Why both in supporting roles! The first poster was revealed yesterday to go along with National Coming Out Day (it's nothing exciting but Nick looks gorgeous as always
 ) I imagine it'll be very similar to an adaption of a John Green novel |

Finished reading the book in under a day earlier this week and thought it was really sweet - it had me guessing who the anonymous e-mailer was and had a really lovely ending too which was nice. Nick Robinson is a very good casting choice for how I imagined Simon when reading the book so I'm very excited to see the film now, the book captured really nicely a lot of feelings and inner worries/thoughts that I've definitely had too growing up with my sexuality etc. x

I'm mainly her for Jennifer Garner tbh. She really is the perfect choice for that warm Mum role. Weird seeing her as a mother of a teen when none of her own kids are teens

It currently has a score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes! I'm so glad that it's been critically well received. Really willing this to be big commercial success, and I can't see why it wouldn't be because there's such a positive buzz around it! |

I saw it last Thursday with Sky vip tickets Really liked it. Quite emotional at bits. Very sweet. But it also reminded me of another movie which I shouldn’t mention otherwise I’d be spoiling the end. Recommend

It's seemingly performed as well as it was expected to (it was predicted that it would open between $10m and $12m range). The Greg Berlanti-directed romantic dramedy is noteworthy because, even in 2018, it is the first major-studio teen rom-com about a gay kid.
