For 2001, Angel and Do You Really Like It are classics. I remember liking that Electric Avenue remix at the time too.
I dont think I remember 3LW.
Rover is the best of the 2020 top 10 imo but S1mba and DTG have not yet had many other chart hits after it

Jonas Blue
A London-based DJ and producer who’s delivered a steady stream of hit tracks and remixes since the mid-2010s, Jonas Blue knows how to give a dance floor all the joy and energy it needs. Yet he leaves room for some wistful feelings out there in the dark, too. The best proof of that is his thrilling yet poignant revamp of Tracy Chapman’s folk-pop classic “Fast Car”, a collaboration with singer Dakota that became a worldwide hit in 2015. The club and radio favourite also propelled Blue—born Jonas James Robin in Chelmsford in 1989—into the top tier of the dance-music world. On hits like 2017’s “Mama” (with William Singe) and his 2018 debut album Blue, the busy producer developed a signature style of pop, tropical house and EDM that was reliably light and summery yet also contained the emotional undercurrents that made his update of “Fast Car” so surprising and special. They’re certainly present in “Younger”, a 2019 single full of nostalgic feelings for times long past. LÉON
Swedish singer LÉON made a splash in 2015 with a softly glowing contemporary pop sound that evoked classic sounds of the 1960s and '80s without being entrenched in the past. A trio of EPs paved the way for her eponymous 2019 debut and its breakout hit, "You and I." LÉON returned with her sophomore LP, Apart, the following year.
The Stockholm native -- a daughter of musicians -- fronted a band as a teenager and watched her career accelerate as a solo artist after she began to work with producer Agrin Rahmani. In 2015, at the age of 21, she made her proper debut with "Tired of Talking," a single with a sweet melodic hook that belied the lyrics' assertive character. The more uptempo "Nobody Cares," a song in which LÉON sang of having trouble letting go of a relationship, followed shortly after that and led the way to an EP, Treasure, which contained both of the singles and two new songs. Her For You EP arrived in early 2017. Months later, she issued another EP, Surround Me, followed by the sultry single "Baby Don't Talk" in 2018. In the buildup toward her debut album, LÉON scored another hit with its rousing lead single, "You and I." The album, simply titled LÉON, appeared in March 2019, followed by tours of Europe and North America. A leading voice of Scandipop’s next wave, Sigrid combines forthright lyrics with irresistible hooks. Born in Ålesund, Norway, in 1996, Sigrid Solbakk Raabe began her music career on a dare: Her older brother, a singer/songwriter, challenged her to write and perform a song at one of his shows. The then-16-year-old Sigrid accepted, and the next year she released her first single, “Sun,” and began performing at local festivals like Øyafestivalen. When you want to hear ‘I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE’ on the radio but have meetings booked for 4 and 4:45 
…but then the 4pm one got swapped to 3pm earlier instead 
Let’s hope it doesn’t get played during that 15 minute window until I’m done at 5 
Rooting for Little Mix x2 in the top 10 and ‘Save Your Tears’ smashing too

I remember that Sandi Thom track toppling Crazy at the time as being as HUGE shock (as I didn't know the back story behind the latter being deleted, bizarre tale that whole thing was wasn't it?)
Also crazy that Angel got 3 weeks at #1 whereas It Wasn't Me is the far more remembered Shaggy song but only had one week.
Small typo on the Keane song there too btw.

“Back Again” might seem like a strange title for a debut single, but not for Joel Corry: When the British DJ/producer dropped his first record in 2015, he was already well known to UK audiences from his appearances on the MTV reality show Geordie Shore. While that program captured its cast members’ romantic misadventures with tongue firmly in cheek, Corry has treated his musical career with far more seriousness, faithfully updating the sounds of classic house with a sleek contemporary touch. Born in London in 1989, Corry was just a boy when the slinky sounds of UK garage catapulted underground dance music into British pop around the turn of the millennium, but he brings the same crossover spirit to his own productions. While 2015’s “Back Again” and “Light It Up” flirted with big-room EDM, Corry looked to the past for his breakout hit, a 2019 cover of Monsta Boy’s 2000 UK garage classic “Sorry” that paired soulful vocals with crisp, jittery drum programming. He’s pursued a similar approach on subsequent singles like “Lonely” and “Head & Heart”, updating the piano chords and organ stabs of ’90s dance pop with 21st-century production values. While Corry’s timeless hooks are perfect for radio, he’s careful to always have something special for the dance floor. London-based producer Fred Gibson, aka Fred Again, is responsible for numerous chart-topping pop and rap songs, working alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, and Stefflon Don. He also produces for himself, blending house/electronica with samples he has pulled from social media. His journey began after he joined an a cappella group at Brian Eno's studio in London; there, he managed to impress Eno with his Logic skills, leading to Gibson gaining the revered musician as a mentor. By 2014 he was working alongside Eno, collaborating on his trilogy of albums alongside Underworld's Karl Hyde. After an impressive start, Gibson went on to co-produce Roots Manuva's 2015 album Bleeds. He followed that with a number of high-profile singles, including a couple of tracks on Ellie Goulding's 2015 album Delirium, Stefflon Don and Charli XCX's 2016 single "After the Afterparty," and Little Mix's 2017 single "Is Your Love Enough?" The brainchild of Toronto singer Abel Tesfaye, the project took off in 2011 with a string of mixtapes (later collected as 2012’s Trilogy) that forged cavernous, falsetto-driven R&B with narratives drenched in drugs, sex, and other regrettable decisions—a sound both sensuous and detached, featherlight and dead heavy. One of the earliest musicians to find his footing on the internet, Tesfaye originally offered his music through YouTube and free downloads, a move that felt radical then but is common now. Ethiopian by heritage (his parents immigrated to Canada in the late ’80s, just before he was born), Tesfaye—out from behind the mask of making art online—has since come to represent the changing face of Toronto, rooting himself not just in an international musical community but in a specific diasporic experience. Like the work of collaborator Lana Del Rey or early booster (and fellow Toronto native) Drake, Tesfaye’s music has become a symbol of hedonism pushed to bleak excess, with a series of albums—including 2015’s Grammy-winning Beauty Behind the Madness, 2016’s multiplatinum Starboy, and 2020’s dense and atmospheric After Hours—whose narrators can’t seem to say no even if they hate themselves for it later. And though his music has gotten a little brighter over time, the prevailing mood remains heavy, even unsettling—the ride you want more of even when you’ve had too much. Speaking to Apple Music about the persona behind his songs, Tesfaye said, “I’m a chill person. That guy is who I am, but it is who I am to myself and in my writing. Sometimes you take him and then you create more, and then it becomes this beast. You add more to him, and then it’s uncontrollable—its own character. Born Tijs Michiel Verwest in the small Dutch city of Breda in 1969, Tiësto went on to become more than just a world-famous electronic musician—he largely created the model for a powerhouse DJ in the 21st century. Los Angeles based Noizu is quickly climbing through the ranks of house music. Making his debut on the Chris Lake and Skrillex curated ‘HOWSLA’ in 2017 with ‘Lasers’ before catching the eyes and ears of French label boss Tchami. His follow up release saw the Jungle EP, an instant live anthem supported by Diplo, Oliver Heldens, A-Trak, Jauz, Malaa and more. 2018 started with singles ‘LFO’ and ‘Wavey’, gaining huge support from Sirius / Diplo Revolution. The latter in particular receiving over 200 plays. Noizu’s first official remix came when he was asked by DJ Snake himself to tackle his Lauv featured smash ‘A Different Way’, which boasts over 4.8M Spotify streams at present. A champion for other new talent, Noizu has always given away his own stems post-release to encourage other young producers and has released several remix EPs highlighting the best new talent he can find. Other official remix offers came in and he selected songs by Tchami and Valentino Khan. He also took the idea of re-working the classic house anthem “Music Sounds Better with You” to his now friend Malaa. The song was released as a bootleg and has had over 1M Soundcloud plays and tens of thousands of downloads.
With a growing urge to adopt a label boss attitude, he set up Techné Records summer of 2018 with a view to working club releases globally and giving new talent a platform to show their skills. The debut release, a collaboration with Dombresky, could not have gone better. ‘Rave Alarm’ was launched and an instant festival anthem was subsequently made “Hottest Record in the World” by Annie Mac for BBC Radio 1. A top 10 Aria club track in Australia, this track has now been licensed and will receiving a big push with video in 2019. November 2018 saw Noizu make his LA debut, a packed headline show at Sound Nightclub. An incredible landmark for a project barely 18 months old but a true testament to the pace and quality of which the project is heading towards.
Cruising straight into 2019, Noizu started off the year with the much-anticipated release of ‘DANCE’ on Chris Lake’s Black Book Records, which quickly gained the support of some of dance music’s top names including FISHER, Chris Lake, Green Velvet, Claude VonStroke and more. After a packed set at Beyond Wonderland, Noizu gifted fans with his second release of the year ‘No More’ which gained the same ongoing traction of everything before it. There’s a moment in a 2020 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where Justin Bieber begins—quietly, hesitantly—to cry. “It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry, and not knowing where to turn, and everyone telling me they love me, and just turning their back on you in a second,” Bieber says, each clause kicking up memories like dust. Måneskin is a beloved and critically-acclaimed young Italian 4-piece-band aged from 18 to 21: Damiano (vocals), Victoria (bass), Thomas (guitar) and Ethan (drums). Måneskin means “moonlight” in Danish, a tribute to the bassist’s origin. Group members have known each other since middle school, but they started playing together only in 2015. Their sound is marked by different musical influences: a mix of rock, rap/hip hop, reggae, funky and pop, tied together by the soul voice of the frontman Damiano. 2018 the band released "Morirò da Re" (triple platinum) and "Torna a casa" (quadruple platinum) to anticipate "Il ballo della vita" (double platinum), their first studio album entirely written by Måneskin. “Il ballo della vita” went straight in at #1 on Italian top charts with more than 170 million streams. Their 80-concert-tour with 66 sold-out shows and more than 140.000 tickets sold both in Italy and Europe well represents their high-impact on the current national musical scene. Then they moved to London where they began working on their last brand new album "Teatro d'ira - “Vol I”, entirely written by themself, released this year on March 19th and anticipated by “Vent’anni” (platinum) and “Zitti e buoni” (platinum), the song was presented at Sanremo Festival and won it. Quite an achievement for a Eurovision winner to have another hit, for it to happen the week after their win is unprecedented! People really took to them as an act, not just because of one song.
This song is crazy catchy, one of the biggest sounding rock songs in years. It feels like it could get a lot bigger than this but they could do with some radio support.

Electronic dance act the Nightcrawlers is based around DJ, producer, and vocalist John Reid. The act released the single "Living Inside a Dream" in 1992, it wasn't until "Push the Feeling On" that Reid achieved a Top Ten hit on the U.S. dance singles chart. The track was re-formed by Mark Kinchen with his "Dub of Doom" remix, which reached number 22 on the U.K. singles chart in 1994. For the four following singles, Reid worked very closely with Mark Kinchen, and all the singles featured Mark Kinchen remixes: "Surrender Your Love" (U.K. number seven), "Don't Let the Feeling Go" (U.K. number 13) "Let's Push It" (U.K number 23), and "Should I Ever Fall In Love(U.K number 34). West London grime MC Che Wolton Grant (aka AJ Tracey) rose through the ranks of pirate radio, becoming one of the leading figures in U.K. grime's second generation of artists. Grant knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in music, due in part to his parents; not only was his dad a former rapper from Trinidad & Tobago, his mother was a former drum'n'bass DJ from Wales. By age six, Grant had started writing rhymes, coinciding with the first great boom in grime. Although the genre temporarily lost its way, Grant soldiered on, unwilling to give up on his passion for grime. By the time he had reached his early twenties, grime had started another upswing. During this time Grant became proactive in his pursuit of radio spots, working his way up through pirate radio before scoring appearances on Rinse.DM, NTS, and eventually even BBC Radio One.
With his reputation in the world of radio firmly cemented, Grant released a string of EPs, beginning with The Front EP in July 2015, followed by the Alex Moran EP later the same year. In 2016, he further solidified his status as an emerging talent, with a combination of solid collaborations, more radio appearances, and the release of the Lil Tracey EP. The end of 2016 culminated with Grant's nomination yo BBC's Sound of 2017. That year saw him release a handful of EPs and singles including Secure the Bag and "False 9," as well as dabbling in production on "LA4AWeek." The following year Tracey delivered his first U.K. Top 20 single, "Butterflies," followed by the Top 40 single "Lo(v/s)er." Alongside the release of the singles, Tracey also worked on his debut album. “Back Again” might seem like a strange title for a debut single, but not for Joel Corry: When the British DJ/producer dropped his first record in 2015, he was already well known to UK audiences from his appearances on the MTV reality show Geordie Shore. While that program captured its cast members’ romantic misadventures with tongue firmly in cheek, Corry has treated his musical career with far more seriousness, faithfully updating the sounds of classic house with a sleek contemporary touch. Born in London in 1989, Corry was just a boy when the slinky sounds of UK garage catapulted underground dance music into British pop around the turn of the millennium, but he brings the same crossover spirit to his own productions. While 2015’s “Back Again” and “Light It Up” flirted with big-room EDM, Corry looked to the past for his breakout hit, a 2019 cover of Monsta Boy’s 2000 UK garage classic “Sorry” that paired soulful vocals with crisp, jittery drum programming. Croydon, South London-based R&B singer Rachel Keen (aka RAYE) started her career at the age of ten, guided by her father and her guitar teacher. Her interest in music quickly led to small charity gigs and bouts of singing at her local church. By 2012, RAYE had enrolled in the prestigious BRIT school for music and singing, spending two years perfecting her craft, but she left in 2014 due to the limitations she was being taught and the desire to create her own rules. The following year, RAYE released her debut EP, Welcome to the Winter. The lead single, "Hotbox," was noticed by Olly Alexander (Years & Years) on Hype Machine; he got in touch with RAYE to discuss music, and arranged a meeting with the A&R department at Polydor. With major-label backing, RAYE kept busy in 2016, including co-writing her single "I, U, US" alongside Charli XCX, appearing as a guest vocalist on Jonas Blue's "By Your Side" single, and releasing the SECOND EP. From his early days playing Chicago house in French discotheques to his long reign atop the pop charts, David Guetta has revolutionised dance music multiple times. Born in Paris in 1967, Guetta began DJing in the late ’80s, when the shimmery sound known as the “French touch” was taking shape. By the early 2000s, at his F*** Me I’m Famous parties in Ibiza, he had translated that melodic style into a clever merger of pop sass and club swagger. He parlayed that mix into pure platinum with hits like 2003’s “Just for One Day”, an energy-stoking rework of David Bowie’s “Heroes”, and 2002’s “Just a Little More Love”, a sultry bump-and-grind featuring R&B singer Chris Willis. It's great to see them have such a longlasting career. Higher Power isn't my favourite Coldplay track, I much prefer Something Just Like This and Hymn For The Weekend but it's nice for them to be having another hit at least.

There’s purpose in Dua Lipa’s euphoric pop. “For me, it’s about championing women and putting ourselves in the position of power,” the singer told Apple Music in 2020, ahead of the release of her second album, Future Nostalgia. “I have been inspired by the female alphas that have shown me that we can do it. And that we can wear the pants, you know? We need more of that in music.” Forcing the world to get a little more comfortable with female alphas has been a mission statement for Lipa (born in London to Kosovar Albanian parents in 1995) since her 2017 self-titled debut. It housed the triumphant breakup smash “New Rules”, the self-love anthem “IDGAF” and the assured “Hotter Than Hell”—songs which made it clear that this was no ingénue, but rather an outspoken, effortlessly cool face of pop’s future. Indeed, that status was cemented a year later when Lipa made history as the first female solo artist to receive five BRIT Award nominations. She won two and, in 2019, added two Grammys to her mantelpiece.
Despite the success of her debut, Lipa wasn’t interested in recreating its hits. “People always say, ‘The second album is really scary,’ but for me, it’s more scary to go back into the studio and try to create something like ‘New Rules’ or ‘IDGAF’ over and over again,” she said. “I feel like I’d end up in a vicious cycle of trying to get somewhere but never being able to mature as an artist.” And so, to move forward, she pivoted to the past, drawing on disco and funk—and filtering it through her ahead-of-its-time pop—to arrive at Future Nostalgia. Decadent and every bit as empowering as those early hits, it brought Lipa her first Mercury Prize nod, multiple Grammy nominations and a rightful place in pop’s upper echelons. And with it, too, came Lipa’s new purpose. Released just as the world went into lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis, Future Nostalgia became an urgent tonic for tough times—danced to in living rooms across the world. Yet Lipa wasn’t done there: Five months later, she unveiled Club Future Nostalgia, a thrilling remixed version on which the singer teamed up with club queen The Blessed Madonna, and guests including Madonna, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson, to bring lockdown-fatigued listeners another dose of escapism. “I didn’t think I’d be putting albums out during a global pandemic,” added Lipa. “But it’s just about creating experiences for everyone at home. That’s the most important thing for me now.”

Leeds, U.K.-based vocalist Tom Zanetti began his career in the music industry primarily as a club promoter; his breakthrough night, Insomnia, became the most successful night at Leeds nightclub Mission for five consecutive years. Discovering he had a knack for club promotion, he went on to set-up a wider reaching events company called Sleepin Is Cheatin. The way Lil Nas X tells it, it sounds simple, almost mystical. “I was just kinda bored,” he told Apple Music. “I wanted to put something up. As a bearded bloke with a great big voice trading under the unabashedly old-fashioned name of Rag’n’Bone Man, Rory Graham shattered the mould for music stars who broke out of in the 2010s. Then again, he was bound to break something given the power that pours out of him on “Human”, his debut single in 2016. The fusion of blues and hip-hop established the singer/songwriter—born in 1985 in the town of Uckfield—as one of the decade’s most unique new arrivals. It’s also an arresting showcase for the booming baritone that Graham himself was surprised to discover when he tried singing a Muddy Waters song at an open mic in the mid-2000s. Until then, he’d spent his teenage years rapping for hip-hop and drum ‘n’ bass crews in his hometown. His take on vintage blues—as well as soul and funk, two words he has tattooed on knuckles—still reflects his love of the more modern sounds and sensibilities provided by collaborators like producer Two Inch Punch a.k.a. Ben Ash on Rag’n’Bone’s 2017 debut album Human. With “Giant”—a 2019 match-up with Calvin Harris—Graham got another chance to show how his old-school gusto and soulful delivery can heighten a song’s intensity without overwhelming it or blunting its pop appeal. From the start, P!nk made it her business to be different: “Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears,” she sang on 2001’s “Don’t Let Me Get Me". “She’s so pretty/That just ain’t me.” Even as she rose in fame, she retained the whiff of an outsider—someone too frank, too unapologetic, too real for the show: not an icon, but a human being. As a girl, P!nk (born Alecia Beth Moore in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 1979) loved Madonna and Janis Joplin, and tried her hand at opera, show tunes and punk rock. She started performing in clubs as a teenager, taking her name from Steve Buscemi’s "Mr. Pink” character in the Quentin Tarantino film Reservoir Dogs: quippy, edgy, ready for trouble. After the demise of her first group, Choice, which was briefly signed to LaFace Records, P!nk released her 2000 debut, Can’t Take Me Home, co-writing more than half the album’s tracks. That style paved the way for artists like Halsey, Kesha and just about every other major female pop star in her wake.
While her attitude was central to her appeal—whether she was tilting towards rock on 2003’s Try This or tipping back to dance on 2006’s I’m Not Dead—what really set her apart was her versatility: It was hard to imagine another singer capable of tackling something as bitterly sarcastic as “I Got Money Now” (“You don’t have to like me anymore/I’ve got money now”) and then shifting, with total credibility, to “Dear Mr. President” or “Who Knew”—who could be a punk one minute and an embracing, almost maternal comfort the next. She also set new standards as a live act, incorporating aerial dance and acrobatics into her extravagant stage shows. (Check out her performance of “Sober” at the 2009 VMAs for proof.)
In 2012, The Truth About Love marked another career high, tackling marriage, parenthood and the heft of Real Adult Emotions with a frankness that was funny, touching and refreshingly unsentimental (“It’s whispered by the angels’ lips,” she sang on the title track, “and it can turn you into a son of a bitch”). Speaking to Beats 1 host Zane Lowe about 2019’s Hurts 2B Human, she described the album’s title track in classic P!nk fashion—welcoming, human, but with an edge: “Everybody is going through something. What happens when two producers who live and breathe pop and dance music set aside the digital bells and MIDI whistles and sit down at the piano first? That’s what Christian Karlsson, aka Bloodshy, and Linus Eklöw, aka Style of Eye, ask themselves every time they hit the studio as Galantis. Since 2013, the Swedish duo has crafted some of the most unforgettable songs in dance pop, and they’ve done it by turning the usual equation—make a beat, then graft a melody on top—on its head. It’s a holistic approach that makes their hooks stand out—and their drops are nothing to sneeze at, either. The two met when Karlsson’s trio Miike Snow hired Eklöw to remix the group’s 2009 hit “Animal,” and the producers found common ground in arcane synths and the nuances of songwriting. From his early days playing Chicago house in French discotheques to his long reign atop the pop charts, David Guetta has revolutionised dance music multiple times. BTS (Korean: 방탄소년단; RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band that began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. The septet—composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—co-writes and co-produces much of their own output. Originally a hip hop group, their musical style has evolved to include a wide range of genres. Nobody makes feeling bad sound as good as The Weeknd. Shylo Batchelor Ashby Milwood (born 20 March 1996), known professionally as Russ Millions or Russ Splash or simply Russ, is a British rapper and songwriter. In December 2018 he released his single "Gun Lean" on Virgin Records. The track peaked at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the first UK drill track to reach the top 10. The dance that Russ performs in the music video became a "dance craze" and was mimicked by footballers including Jesse Lingard. Biography
Talk about an unexpected career trajectory. In 2007, 23-year-old Calvin Harris released I Created Disco, a cheeky shot across dance music’s bow that presented him as Scotland’s brow-arched answer to LCD Soundsystem. Fast-forward a few years, and the scruffy fellow playing house-party host in the “Merrymaking at My Place” video is suddenly baring oil-slicked abs on Calvin Klein billboards. What happened, of course, is that Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles in 1984) traded up from the Amiga computer of his teens, developed some of the best studio chops in the business with deep-house rollers like 2013's “Thinking About You,” and helped spark EDM’s pop crossover with hits for Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, and others. Along the way, he became one of the 2010s’ first DJ/producer/songwriter polymaths to earn top billing even on the songs in which he didn’t sing. No stranger to pyro-lit main stages—his percussive, synth-strafed 2014 single “C.U.B.A.” is big-room house at its most gargantuan—Harris has resisted getting boxed into any one sound. On 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he lays down a set of slinky R&B jams for Frank Ocean, Migos, and Young Thug, while the 2018 singles “Promises,” with Sam Smith, and “One Kiss,” with Dua Lipa, proved just how versatile his vision of pop can be. - iTunes

When singer-songwriter Billie Eilish feels something new, the first thing she does is take out her phone and write it down. “You can write anything,” she told Apple Music in an interview for the Up Next series. “You can say the truth, and you can not tell anyone that it’s the truth—you can just write it, and it’ll be yours.” Raised and homeschooled in Los Angeles by actor/musician parents, Eilish (born Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell in 2001) started writing songs when she was around 11, exploring a strain of melancholy, minimal and slightly surrealistic pop influenced as much by Lana Del Rey as the radical honesty of rappers like Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. Writing and recording with her brother—and producer—Finneas O’Connell at their parents’ house, Eilish released dont smile at me in 2017, followed by an ever-evolving series of singles—a prime example of the fact that, in the streaming era, artists are now free to move directly from their bedrooms into the spotlight. for Fred again.. finally making the top 40 this week. Also happy to see the new peaks for 'Save Your Tears', 'Confetti' and 'Astronaut In The Ocean' (plus 'Rasputin' although disappointing that it stalled at #11, shame it couldn't overtake Mimi) and 'ZITTI E BUONI' managing a second week in the top 25 at least, it is still in the top 40 on Spotify so hopefully will stick around for at least one more week. And good to see that 'Higher Power' is managing a pretty decent chart run - it's by no means a classic amongst their discography but it is growing on me, I cannot deny its feel good vibes x
Finally got around to hearing 'good 4 u' yesterday and it is another really strong single from her (a few questionable lyrics aside x), all for it being this huge.

If my scrolling through charts serves me correctly I think ZITTI E BUONI is the first Eurovision song to spend more than one week in the Top 30 since Euphoria which is pretty impressive!
Also I never thought I'd hear a sound like that of I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE in the charts again in my lifetime save for random charity gimmicks Of course the questionable lyrics stop me from putting it on my playlist but hopefully this is a sign of better things to come in the charts!

Very unlikely. In an alternate reality where the Olivia album wasn't released it might have grafted to the top as Body faded but that's about the best shot it would have had. Shame really, it would have made a decent enough #1.

Depends on England's performance. Although worth noting that our best performance in the Euros was in 1996, which was the last time any of the games were held at home as the semis and final are scheduled to be this year... and when the original 3 Lions was released. Good omen?
If we miraculously make the semi finals, 3 Lions is back at #1 without a doubt.

To this day I'm not exactly sure what the entity 'Stay Flee Get Lizzy' is meant to be. It definitely doesn't appear to be anyone involved with the actual music - I've checked the production credits and the three SFGL hits all have distinct producers, most of which are fairly big names - seems to just be used as an artist tag for the songs to promote the clothing brand Lizzy who I guess must be sponsoring the songs (similarly to 'GRM Daily' being used as an artist tag for songs that were 'commissioned' by the GRM Daily channel).
In practice it might as well just be an alias of Fredo given that the songs with Fredo are the only ones that ever chart

If we miraculously make the semi finals, 3 Lions is back at #1 without a doubt.
One of the abiding memories of that tournament is the semi-final against Germany with the crowd launching into a rendition of Three Lions and the cameras focussing on David Baddiel and Frank Skinner. We'll gloss over the result of the match.
