What if Tom Hanks dies?

I love how Tony Hale is practically playing Buster Bluth again. Did anyone notice that they didn't even mention if they were supposed to be Republican or Democrats? Nice touch. They're all fucks ups.

THIS IS AMAZING

I don't think I've ever heard f*** used quite so many times in such a short space of time (outside of a 1990 Madonna concert). I proper lol'd numerous times too, not least at 'what if tom hanks dies' and when she came out of the office and had the mini FIT.

I watched this cause I love The Thick of It.

not sure what I thought, maybe would have enjoyed it more if I was American maybe?

IDK, I think it will grow on me but I'll never love it to the scale that I love The Thick of It. But to be fair hard to match, but In The Loop was great. Lacks a certain Mr Tucker basically.

I barely noticed the word f*** which means I must watch some very different things to you. Have you not seen The Thick of It which this is the American version of, it takes swearing to a whole new level.

it's well worth picking up the boxset, think it goes fairly cheap these days, it's not too long to watch because you get hooked, theres still another series in pre-production too. especially worth watching if you enjoyed Veep, obviously it's early days yet but I can't see Veep quite matching the hilarity of the Thick of It script. The characters are just better, probably mainly due to Veep's characters just being loosely based on the Thick of It characters.

First episode was quite brilliant. Love them all... especially him from Arrested Development basically playing Buster.

Episode 4 was OFF THE HILARITY SCALE. That is the absolute worst, and therefore best, sex talk I have ever heard! Her emphasising oval office in particular really got me. Oh and I loved the ego trip about people needing to worship her too!

I do think the best bit, in every episode is 'Sue, did the President call? ... 'no'. It always gets me.

YES. It really got me in the first episode and I was hoping it would become a running joke.

yess definitely!

It's a bit of a watered-down Thick Of It/In The Loop (obviously) but still so so good. Getting better with every episode tooo.
