If you had to choose a Martin who would it be?

Based on material over the past year or so surprisingly it has to be Solveig for me, Do It Right and Places are massive bangers and much better than Garrix's recent singles. As for Jensen, Solo Dance is proper amazing but I can't really judge him properly until his next proper single (that one with the Vamps doesn't count).

Solveig easily, Hello and Ready 2 Go were great + his string of singles from Intoxicated onward have all delivered

Solveig easily. Always consistent and delivering.

Garrix has completely lost who he is in trying to chase this awful future bass trend and I have pretty much zero respect for him as an artist any more, and I've not liked any of Jensen's generic output.

Future bass isn't all bad, some of it it on the dancier end of the scale I do like, but Martin Garrix's songs have been too poppy and watered down imo.

It's not the genre of future bass that's the problem, it's that Garrix has chased that trend (though he's not the only one to) and he is now a world away from his original output which made him distinguishable

Solveig followed by Jensen the a long way down to Garrix. I've enjoyed Al I Wanna Do and Solo Dance from Jensen but that Vamps collaboration was a let-down, whilst Solveig keeps pushing out the bangers. Garrix used to be amazing but has really let me down recently.

Garrix > Solveig > Jensen (too early to judge him really)

I sometimes wonder with him and several artists that are now doing this, if they even believe in the music they're making considering how they started out? Or if they're literally 100% doing this as they know it will be a money spinner?

It's such a sad state of affairs.

they're clearly just following the $$$ (especially David Guetta, he always trend hops to whatever sound is the most popular)

at least when Calvin changed styles he went more urban rather than being yet another tropical house/future bass person.

Garrix I think, but Solveig isn't far behind. Jensen isn't someone I know too well I don't think blush.gif

Deffo Solveig. Just from his start hit Everybody to upcoming single with Alma.
I do appreciate Garrix but come on, losing his identity in just a half of year isn't a good sign.
Jensen's piece of fame is yet to come.

A walkover for Garrix here! Solveig has some good tracks (Places in particular heart.gif) and Jensen's showing promise with Solo Dance (and Middle of the Night) but nothing else to judge yet. Garrix has been mostly great since his debut (I'll ignore Don't Look Down).
