a rather humdrum update this week ~ aside from david guetta + disclosure moving up a tier apiece
 , it's all rather uninspiring~  why on earth are they automatically playlisting the latest vacuous x-factor cover?

They (with a little push from Nick Grimshaw, as mentioned) must believe that Che, Reggie N Bollie and Louisa are all relevant enough for a slot, regardless of what the song ends up sounding like...
Looks a bit iffy saving a space for a song nobody has ever heard though, at least with the other exclusives we can be reasonably lead to believe that R1 execs have heard the song before Joe Public and have made up their mind on a playlist slot based on that. You could say that - Little Mix had bigger support than ever and Fleur has had good support. BUT last year's winner was altogether snubbed. |
