Yes at Mumford going off. Heard enough of it now.

They don't usually add the Winners Single do they? I have a feeling the last they added was Impossible in 2012?

I'm pretty certain every winner's single has actually been playlisted?

a rather humdrum update this week ~ aside from david guetta + disclosure moving up a tier apiece cheer.gif, it's all rather uninspiring~ nocheer.gif

why on earth are they automatically playlisting the latest vacuous x-factor cover? unsure.gif

Sia re-added laugh.gif
But why now? XF performance?

QUOTE(#psychic7 @ Dec 9 2015, 05:40 PM) *
it's great 'Alive' is back on, as expected since they obviously removed it early for a reason

I'm thinking the label changed the official impact date just as Radio 1 added it to the playlist last time. Its impact date is obviously early January now, which explains why she's started doing promo for it, and as the album is out on Jan 29th, 'Alive' must be the lead single (even though I was hoping for a second single before the album).

Not sure about the first few years, but certainly in the last 4/5 years, 'Impossible' was the only one playlisted.

Nah they haven't in the last while although James Arthur was Alisted as it was a genuinely popular track which stayed top 40 until near Easter!

I'm quite sure Ben Haenow and Sam Bailey were snubbed at least!

Most aren't playlisted actually. The only one in recent years I can think of that was playlisted is James Aurther. Little Mix, Sam Baily definitely were not. Neither was Ben Haenow.

They (with a little push from Nick Grimshaw, as mentioned) must believe that Che, Reggie N Bollie and Louisa are all relevant enough for a slot, regardless of what the song ends up sounding like...

Looks a bit iffy saving a space for a song nobody has ever heard though, at least with the other exclusives we can be reasonably lead to believe that R1 execs have heard the song before Joe Public and have made up their mind on a playlist slot based on that.

You neat me too it but yeah im pretty cerain with nick grimshaw being both a judge and radio 1 dj whoever won would be playlisted

Come to think of it is it just me or have a lot more x factor related acts been playlisted quicker this year?

You could say that - Little Mix had bigger support than ever and Fleur has had good support. BUT last year's winner was altogether snubbed.
