An amazing show.

Rewatching from the start forgot how scary Jacs was in season 1!

Ferguson is my favourite character. Amazing actress and a terrifying yet strangely likeable super villain some of her one liners laugh.gif

What are people expecting to happen in season 7?

News of the extension of the show!

So the actress who plays Ruby has posted on Instagram that Season 8 is a 20 episode season.

I was under the impression it was two separate ten episode seasons we were getting after S7.

Unless they’re filming them all together the way they did 6 and 7.

Honestly don’t know what I’d rather!

If it is a 20 episode season I wonder if they’ll air it in two parts. I remember Waterloo Road used to take around a months break between 10 episode blocks when that moved to 20 episodes and the US shows go on breaks too don’t they when they have 20+ episodes a season.

I'm glad it's longer, before last season I would have thought it needed to be cancelled and didn't know how it was going to go without both Bea and Joan, but it smashed all expectations!

They started filming in Spring 2018 so I’ll be very shocked if it’s not out this year!

Yeah that would seem odd if it was so far away as it must be all filmed, can't see why they'd have to leave it :/ The US potentially having to wait 2 years to get it is bad enough but if we won't be seeing it until next year.... mellow.gif

Off the title I sort of thought in my head that Marie Winters going to have someone from Rita’s family killed maybe her fiancé?
Either way I feel this is gonna be similar to the first two seasons in that Rita is gonna build up to be top dog like Bea and Marie is the new villain like Jacs Holt was at the start
