The people of Tartford would like to express their enormous gratitude for making it into the final with Say It Like You Mean It. They are literally jumping up and down with joy! Mind you, they are always pissed on cheap alcopops, so they'd be jumping up and down regardless. Nevertheless, they're grateful all the same.

Here's to another bottom 5 finish cheer.gif

Say It Like You Mean It surely must be your first non-bottom 5 finish. Am rooting for this

TARTFORD COME 22nd IN FINAL!

A huge thank you to everyone who voted. There was even an elusive 12 pointer! This is our best result and the first time we've not been bottom 5 in a final! ohmy.gif Say It Like You Mean It has even managed to sneak into a few personal charts. #39 in Therm's and #37 in popchartfreak's. And unsurprisingly No.1 in AH Gold's (although it's the very first Tarty BJSC entry to top the AH Gold Chart after being named as an entry).

Such success probably won't last as three of our potentials for the next contest have DNQ written all over them. But stranger things have happened.

Plus congrats to Bre for winning. A very strong drum n bass track which should have received a couple more points from us on reflection.

And now, on to our next entry

it's fingers crossed all round for Tartfordians as we hope to do the unthinkable - qualify for the second final in a row! Stranger things have happened...

Also, bizarrely, our other potential entry has been entered by someone else! We were certain of a DNQ but we hope it does well. A little hint - this track was released in the same year the original version of our entry made the charts. It would have got a 12 from us, but we're in the other semi. Doh!

As you were...

FLOP FLOP FLOP

It was the third time Tartford sent a male vocal track, and the third time Tartford came dead last in a semi final. Back to dance/female vocals next contest then rolleyes.gif

Still, there's several great discoveries in this contest and we're keeping our fingers crossed for...

well a balladised cover of an 80s song was never really gonna appeal to the buzzjack masses. It certainly didn't deserve to finish last in its semi anyhow, I ranked it 20th in the semi excluding my entry.

I'm quietly almost confident this month, which probably means last place in the semi again cry.gif

Right, onto our next DNQ

As much as us Tartfordians love to be bottom of the scrapheap, why not vote for this and send us through. Maybe even a few 12s. Go on, try it.. biggrin.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 12th October 2014, 07:10 AM

DNQ...OBVIOUSLY sob.gif

Despite high hopes and rare optimism, Tartford's latest entry Footprint failed to qualify. This has led to dire consequences in the capital city of Scumville, resulting in a mass outbreak of sulking. Not everyone has taken the news so badly though. Upon hearing the result, Minister for cheap fags and booze, Rancid Cox had this to say; "You're all dead to me."

Nevermind, onto finding our next entry...

In other news, 28 year old Sean Carter today becomes a proud granddad. He is the oldest grandparent Tartford has ever known

Will we do any better with this?

DNQ YET AGAIN

Yet again, our poor looked down upon nation came last with a male vocal track. We never learn. sob.gif

Thanks for the 12 points FrankLuck, and all the others who voted though.

We are torn between two tracks for our next entry, one which is a bit of a risk (i.e a blatant DNQ) and a cheap uninspired one. Hmmm, which one to go for?......

Time to show some love. Go on, vote generously. You know you want to whistle.gif

GUESS WHAT...YEP, SO CLOSE...

Just missing out (well, ok, by about eight or nine points) at a place in the final, it's yet another DNQ. The powers that be in Tartford are so enraged, they were prepared to go to war with every country which failed to vote, until they realised that would involve money and some form of motivation. Instead, they have decided to do the next best thing - sulk.

Until next time then...

FOR OUR NEXT FLOP...

Well, she was responsible for Tartford's best ever placing in BJSC with Say It Like You Mean It, so maybe...just maybe...

Posted by: Riser 20th May 2015, 04:20 AM

Congrats on qualifying! Was hoping this would be as good as "Say It Like You Mean It" and I wasn't disappointed. I'll probably prefer "Say It" in the long run but am so glad you've sent Maria to BJSC a second time biggrin.gif

Thanks cheer.gif Much appreciated! I agree, I much prefer Say It, but Killing All My Darlings is still a solid pop gem. It will probably come last though I guess laugh.gif

It has been known as the 'underdogs' and more commonly 'if One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was a country', but this day proved to be a historic one for Tartford as they reach the top 20 of the Buzzjack Song Contest for the very first time. Head of the 'Song For Tarty' Committe, Skabbi Ballsak, said "we had no idea other countries knew we existed! They certainly and conveniently forget our existence whenever we beg for money! Oh we came 17th? What did we send again?"

Son Lux's 'You Don't Know Me' is the track in question and racked up 195 points. "Well at least it should take our people's minds off the whole 5p bag riots, which was pointless in hindsight. 96% of Tartfordians are shoplifters anyway and don't need a bag. Hopefully this result in this song contest thing will encourage them to stop being scumbags."

Tartford's next entry has already been chosen and predictions range from coming 42nd in the final and coming last in the semis.

This was definitely one of your best entries (along with Humate/Disco Citizens/Venemy), very pleased to see it breaking new ground for Tartford! <3

Posted by: Jade-o-Lantern 26th October 2015, 04:54 PM

I'm so thrilled for you that you managed a first top 20! ESPECIALLY with a song this good, currently hooked on it. wub.gif

Posted by: Chop-part-freak 26th October 2015, 10:57 PM

yay! yahoo.gif Bout time you got a hit, there have been some quirky and pop gems along the way that shoulda struck a chord. That you did in such a strong contest is icing on the cake, I literally had to drop 5 great tracks from the points (including yours, James', Jade's to name but 3) that would usually have been top 10 sad.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 17th November 2015, 04:06 PM

Thanks All ^ biggrin.gif

Continuing down the more alternative route this month with the glorious Cigerattes After Sex - Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby.

Some hype pretty please. tongue.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 3rd December 2015, 01:35 AM

We made it into another final! In fact, early on at one point, we were THIRD! We thought, 'this good fortune cannot possibly last'...and obviously it didnt. But 25th was far higher than I was expecting, so I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to all who gave it points.

Over the next few days, and because us Tartfordians love a bandwagon due to us not possessing any originality whatsoever, we've compiled our own EOY Top 50 (excluding our own entries of course). As a taster, here's the countries who appear on our top 50. If you feature, feel flattered, or ashamed, that a lowlife country like Tartford could appreciate your efforts.

Aeroche have the most entries - 3

Altyr Muunilinst, Aquafina, Fljotavik, FSR Rontvia, Hushkanukia, Kluminican Republic, Oslol, Republic Of Adonia, Seyetena and Triangledonia all have 2 each

Aeondia, Actual Republic Of Bellamia, Beaverdonia,Cadelicia, Cumulonimbia, Daehun, Desbuanda, Harmonica, Hendinia, Jadakissnia, Kylienips, Land Of DW, Mulgracia, Ojnoj, Persephonia, Quintessa, Ramrynia, Sandeborg, Singerpurear, Summericia, Terra Avium, Tinnmark, Trifoski, Unovia, Utopia and Yehesi all have one entry each.

Tracks which would have appeared high such as O.N.E and Safe With You have been excluded due to them charting high in my chart ages before they appeared in BJSC. Basically, this is a top 50 of tracks I discovered via BJSC.

Will there be in depth praise and intellectual musings about each entry.......well, no actually. But hope you enjoy anyway

Posted by: Slade 3rd December 2015, 01:37 AM

Ooh excited for this! Glad to see we've made an appearance. heart.gif

(I've loved your past two entries btw! on form <3)

Posted by: Michael Bubré 3rd December 2015, 01:40 AM

Congrats on the surprise hit with Cigarettes After Sex, have to admit on first listen it just seemed dull to me but it did grow quite a lot over the course of the contest, definitely understanding the appeal more now. Just proof that bad odds can be overcome tongue.gif

Assuming it'll be 'Waves' appearing here for me. (Hooray for making it with 1 track anyway!)

Posted by: · jerusalina · 3rd December 2015, 01:46 AM

i LOVED ur entry last month, if it had had a bit more time to grow it would've got my 18. adore.

Not updated this in a while, but basically so far in 2016 Tartford have DNQ'd (obvs) a couple of times, made it to 32nd place with Metronomy and now...we've qualified again!!!! Somehow!

Predictions that Reaction will go on to win the whole thing have been reported far and wide...by no one. Nevertheless, we're in the ACTUAL final. Hoorah!

Yay well done! cheer.gif One of the dance songs I was diggin' in semi 2.

Aww, thanks Jade wub.gif Your entry has been growing on me a lot over the past few days too

So. Last place. Again. drama.gif

Newly appointed Head of The Tarty Song For Buzzjack Comittee, Skabbi Ballsac, appeared to be dismayed at this recent result: "We've threatened war, offered sexual favours...what else can we do? It's almost like people don't want to be associated with all the unwashed and morally corrupt scum of Tartford. I just cannot understand why."

Nine countries did take pity on us, so many thanks to them. wub.gif

Anyways, some positivity (false hope) for the next contest - unless i can find a better track, it looks like some recycling may be in order #topteninvasion (or #notbeinglast) cheer.gif

Posted by: Bré 31st May 2016, 10:58 PM

Aw this deserved wayyyy better, I thought it was quite a jam! At least it qualified I guess tongue.gif

Posted by: Jade 31st May 2016, 11:14 PM

Indeed this should have done better, it JUST missed out on points from me in the final after I pointed it in the semi. sad.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 31st May 2016, 11:19 PM

Thanks guys biggrin.gif at least it got points i suppose.

Totally in love with my next entry - its a risk, think (i'm probably wrong) that you'll like it, but i have to go with it - unless it gets veto'd of course laugh.gif

So, last time we were veto'd with a tropical house cover of a stock/aitken/waterman classic, which we quickly replaced with a 00s dance sample of a stock/aitken/waterman flop and scraped into the final!

Now, we've sent an indie cover of an old REO Speedwagon cheesefest...and we're in the final again!!!

Bottom 5 here we come cheer.gif

EOY 2016 TOP 80

In what has been a moderately successful year for Tartford (5 out of 10 entries made it to the final, which for Tartford is successful. The other 5 were cruelly robbed mad.gif ), there's also been many fabulous and wonderful discoveries made from other participants. So, over the next few weeks I'll run down my favourite 80 entries from the year. (N.B: Only tracks I've discovered through BJSC will appear. Older gems such as Sasha's Xpander sadly won't - if it did, it would be comfortably Top 5.)

So, without further ado, here's the first ten:

71. Cumulonimbia // Dan Deacon - Change Your Life (You Can Do It) (BJSC 89)
72. St. Burbia // iSHi - There For Me (feat. Shenie Fogo) (BJSC 89)
73. Lomaja // Chrystina Sayers - From Here (BJSC 90)
74. N DNTN // John The Baptiste - Socila (BJSC 84)
75. St._Burbia // Sarah Mark - Tun Up (BJSC 88)
76. Persephonia // Baby Blood - Figurine (BJSC 90)
77. Yehesi // TP4Y - Blush (BJSC 86)
78. Jadakissnia // HÆLOS - Earth Not Above (BJSC 90)
79. Persephonia // TWRR - Water Frozen (BJSC 87)
80. Unovia // FRENSHIP and Emily Warren - Capsize (BJSC 84)

Sadly, that's it for Cumulonimbia, N DNTN and Unovia.

But St Burbia, Lomaja, Persephonia, Yehesi and Jadakissnia all have more entries to come

Posted by: Jade 20th November 2016, 04:46 PM

Fabulous to see 'Earth Not Above' turning up here and me still having more entries to come *.*

'Change Your Life (You Can Do It)', 'From Here', 'Socila', 'Figurine' and 'Water Frozen' are all really good in this section as well. Strong start!

61-70

61. Greenfroze // Perttu - Waves (feat. Alexandra) (BJSC 89)
62. Dobago // T2Kazuya - Youth (BJSC 88)
63. Singerpurear // Firebeatz and DubVision - Invincible (feat. Ruby Prophet) (BJSC 86)
64. Joedonia // LANY - ILYSB (BJSC 83)
65. Dobago // Albin Myers and Carli - The Legend (BJSC 86)
66. Republic of Adonia // Dusky - Ingrid Is A Hybrid (BJSC 86)
67. Persephonia // The Shanghai Restoration Project - The Wandering Songstress (feat. Zhang Le) (BJSC 81)
68. FARC // Noella Nix - Someone (BJSC 81)
69. Jadakissnia // OVERWERK - Toccata (BJSC 85)
70. The Actual Republic of Bellamia // Jesper Jenset - High (BJSC 85)

Sadly, that's the last we'll see of Joedonia, Persephonia (getting their 3rd and highest entry here), FARC and Jadakissnia (who gets a 2nd, but sadly, last appearance here).

However, there's more to come for Greenfroze, Dobago, Singerpurear, Republic Of Adonia and the Actual Republic Of Bellamia (two of which have more than one entry still to come!)

Posted by: Jade 23rd November 2016, 04:24 PM

Ooh yay for some 'Toccata' love *.* (The second bout of it today after Iz~ included it in his BJSC 2016 Nightcore laugh.gif) it's my second favourite thing I sent this year, just a total banger with a brilliant build-up! Yay for spooky vibes~

'Youth', 'ILYSB', 'The Legend', 'Ingrid Is A Hybrid' and 'The Wandering Songstress' are very good picks as well!

Ooh, hooray for 3 of my songs making it in here, even if none of them are that high up! 'The Wandering Songstress' is still easily my favourite of my 2016 entries so pleased that was the highest here heart.gif Other highlights here are HÆLOS, John The Baptiste and Albin Myers wub.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 1st December 2016, 02:54 PM

51-60

51. St. Burbia // Bearson - Want You (feat. Cal) (BJSC 84)
52. Altyr Muunilinst // Youngr - Out Of My System (BJSC 85)
53. The Actual Republic of Bellamia // Joel Adams - Please Don't Go (BJSC 81)
54. Harmonica // Doop - Tequila (BJSC 81)
55. PRoJ // Mystery Jets - Telomere (BJSC 82)
56. Lomaja // Kero Kero Bonito - Trampoline (BJSC 89)
57. Dobago // DARA - K'vo Ne Chu (BJSC 89)
58. New Lexico // Adore Delano - Take Me There (BJSC 83)
59. Singerpurear // Kishi Bashi - Ode To My Next Life (BJSC 90)
60. Espen // CAPPA - Mad About U (BJSC 87)

Quite a few DNQs here, criminally so, ranging from returning 90s novelty one hit wonders to some underrated indie.

Sadly, that's the last we'll see of St. Burbia, Harmonica, ProJ, Lomaja and Espen here. But good news for Altyr Muunilinst, The Actual Republic Of Bellamia, Dobago, New Lexico & Singerpurear, who all appear at least once in the Top 50.

Posted by: Slade 1st December 2016, 10:18 PM

A few good picks in that section! DARA was pretty good, though by the time of the final I loved it less than initially. 'Mad About U' is easily the best CAPPA song that has been sent to BJSC so far heart.gif and Kishi Bashi DNQing was a total WTF moment! sad.gif

I can always make a part 2! (although I'd need 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 to cover all the active nations) I'm still a bit of an amateur at transitioning but at least a few of them are working it seems.

~

Not to hijack Tartford's thread, I did click on here wondering what you actually had in here, honest. I just found talk about my nightcores. YES to see another fan of Ode To My Next Life, what an amazing song. And Trampoline as well, I'm still convinced that should have won by a landslide.

But with at least one more entry still to appear: Greenfroze, Cor Lupus and Ultraviolenceland

Haven't updated this for a while. Obviously Tartford have wiped the floor with the competition and have triumphed each and every time over the past year....or more accurately, we've qualified...once. no.gif
The widespread Tartphobia looks certain to continue this month with a Hi-Nrg gem. The powers that be wish to let you know that pity votes are quite welcome, we're not above that sort of thing y'know. In other words, a non-vote for Tartford is a vote for racism, and you will rot in hell for all eternity, suffering unimaginable pain and torture forever...or something like that tongue.gif biggrin.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 22nd October 2017, 09:23 PM

Due to civil war, right, left and middle wing coups and an inexplicable rise in expenses regarding our biggest exports fags and alcopops, it is with sad regret to inform everyone that Tartford is no more. As such, our participation in BJSC is over. Please do try not to break down in incolsoble tears.

(in other words, got a very busy few months coming up, so won't have the time to contribute. But wishing everyone has a great BJSC 100.)

Aw, this is a shame to hear. Hope you might be able to find the time to make a return in the future. </3

Posted by: AH Gold 24th March 2018, 05:24 PM

Haven't updated this for a while, but our return (after a massive two month break) resulted in not only an elusive qualifier, but an actual Top 20 placing for Maria Nayler's Naked And Sacred. 14th to be precise!

And now onto our latest entry - Vera Blue's Lady Powers. A quick glance at the predictions thread shows a 100% qualifier prediction ohmy.gif , which probably means it will flop spectacularly, but nevertheless fingers all over Tartford are crossed that we could achieve a second consecutive qualifier. Stranger things have happened.

Do feel free to hype away tongue.gif

Posted by: jjake 25th March 2018, 12:35 AM

what an incredible song!

Posted by: AH Gold 1st April 2018, 10:44 PM

A second qualifier in a row. And some strong predictions for Lady Powers to do quite well. At one stage, we were 4th! Everyone in Poor Brave Tartford were euphoric and screaming "could we ACTUALLY get our first ever Top 10 placing ten years after our debut? Could we? COULD WE?!!!!......"

No.

We came a respectable 21st. Thanks to everyone who voted.

The campaign for Tartford to finally get a top ten hit in BJSC in 2018 starts now!

Posted by: AH Gold 22nd April 2018, 07:50 PM

w00t.gif An actual 3rd qualifier in a row! Tartfordphobia seemingly taking a back seat for the moment. Hoorah!

Your guess is as good as mine as to where the brilliant Post Precious - Lose Myself will end up in the final. We are still of course waiting for our first Top Ten hit. Will it happen finally this month?....

...probably not. But a Q is, regardless, a success for our often undervalued poor, trashy and scummy country.

I'm gonna be optimistic and predict 27th. (First number that popped into my head.) biggrin.gif

Posted by: AH Gold 30th April 2018, 06:22 PM

Predictions were high! In fact, all but one country who posted their predictions for the BJSC 104 final had us down as ending up somewhere in the Top Ten. We were ecstatic and foaming at the mouth wondering where we would land. So where in the Top Ten did we end up?....

23rd.

Scummè Wartťface, head of the Tartford Song Entry Committee says "what do we have to do to get a top tenner? We've tried everything! Bribery, threats of violence, begging. We've even sent the occasional good song!"

Surely Poor Brave Tartford holds the record of longest wait for a Top Ten placer? We will get there one day!

Nevertheless, we achieved our third qualifier in a row which is our joint longest streak, and yes we are aiming for a 4th! And we have a retro banger lined up which will hopefully achieve that. Watch this space and all that... music.gif

A quick update - since the last post, Poor Brave Tartford have DNQ'd twice and actually made the final twice. What are the odds of that happening?!!!! ohmy.gif

2018 is already proving to be Tartford's most successful BJSC year ever, with 5 qualifiers and just 2 DNQs. Next up is our 50th anniversary contest, so naturally we've decided to use this to our (potential) advantage and re-send this previously vetoed gem:

Could a 6th qualifier for this year actually happen? (would say 'could a Top Ten finish FINALLY happen?', but that will never ever happen of course laugh.gif )

So, since we last met:

We got a Top 20 with Mylo. (Will that Top 10 ever happen?!!!)

Then for our 50th anniversary we went with an 80s European smash. Deemed to fail surely!.......

No! Instead, the day finally came! Exactly 10 years since our debut - with our 50th entry came our long awaited first ever (and probably last ever) TOP TEN SMASH!!!!!!! w00t.gif cheer.gif yahoo.gif Ofra came eighth - a result we were absolutely thrilled with.

2018 has already proved to be Tartford's best ever year. Now can we end it in style with a 4th qualifier in a row and a 7th for the year?......

The impossible has happened! We got our 4th consecutive qualifier! ohmy.gif w00t.gif So, Tartford 2018 has seen 7 Qs, 2 DNQs and 1 absence. 3 of the 7 which made it made it into the Top 20, with 1 FINALLY granting us a place in the Top Ten. Due to Tartford being somewhat 'on a roll' currently, could we get back to back Top 10s?

Don't be ridiculous! But 23rd was higher than anticipated, so still a success as far as we're convinced. And with that, we scored our 20th qualifier in all - here they all are (a 'Greatest Hits' compilation if you like):

08 Ofra Haza: Im Nin'Alu
11 Marsheaux: Safe Tonight
14 Maria Nayler: Naked & Sacred
17 Son Lux: You Don't Know Me
19 Mylo: Need You Tonite
21 Vera Blue: Lady Powers
22 Maria Hazell: Say It Like You Mean It
23 Post Precious: Lose Myself
23 Craig Armstrong ft Elizabeth Fraser: This Love
23 Crystal Castles: Concrete
23 Maria Hazell: Killing All My Darlings
25 Cigarettes After Sex: Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby
26 Florrie: Hungry Like A Wolf
28 Humate: Love Stimulation
30 Sky Ferreira: Dynamite State
32 Sons Of Sonix ft Melanie C: Numb
32 Metronomy: The Look
33 Cigarettes After Sex: Keep On Loving You
41 Alex Gaudino & Jerma: Reaction
52 Belinda Carlisle: Goodbye Just Go *

* One Big Final - came last, so doesn't really qualify as a proper qualifier, but as Poor Brave Tartford have far more DNQs than Qs I'm including it. So there!

And just in case anyone might be vaguely interested, here's how we voted in the BJSC110 final:

18 Mulgracia ··· Ariana and the Rose - Lonely Star
15 Hendinia ··· STORME - Be My Drummer
13 Harmonica ··· HOLYCHILD - Wishing You Away
12 Arcodesia ··· pg.lost - Terrain
11 Dobago ··· Trevor Reilly - Down With The Underground

06 Aelandor ··· The Midnight - Gloria
05 Oslol ··· Gryffin & ZOHARA - Remember
04 Holland-Oats ··· Petit Biscuit - Suffer (feat. SKOTT)
03 Séyetana ··· Moe Shop - Love Taste (w/ Jamie Paige & Shiki)

Clearly, spotting a hit continues to elude us. The powers that be thought sending an old Grace Jones track would be a more successful move instead. Erm…..anyway, moving on.....

Here's our entry for #112. Pure 80s style pop, with a male vocal (which usually equals DNQ for us). But quietly confident-ish with this one. Please do feel free to pop a few votes our way. And please do remember - pity votes are not beneath us!

TOP 5????!!!!!!!

No, honestly! Tartford managed not only to get a second Top Ten hit, but Hybrid's Finished Symphony shockingly came 4th! FOURTH!!!!!!! No one ever thought they'd see the day....

So how do we follow up such a massive hit? Well, by sending another 9 minute late 90s club epic of course. Only, amnesia has set in in this case, as we have totally forgotten we have sent three Chicane/Disco Citizens tracks/remixes previously. And they all flopped. Yep. Will a 4th escape the unfair clutches of the DNQ club? Probably not, but enjoy anyway!

I really should update this more often....but anyway....

So what has happened since we last met? Well not a lot as it goes. It's been back to back DNQs, so back to normal for Poor Brave Tartford then. Hoping to add to that impressive tally of flops is this gem from back in the day:

Feel free to chuck a few (a lot) votes our way tongue.gif

It's been a whole 12 months since this thread was updated, which can only mean it's time for a EOY chart.

As we all know, 2020 has been a year of pain, despair, uncertainty and devastation, which, coincidentally, is the title of Tartford's national anthem. So it's quite apt then that Tartford had a good year at BJSC. Two, yes - TWO Top 10 hits, two others in the Top 20 and a further three qualifiers. To top it off, Poor Brave Tartford (trademark) achieved its biggest ever hit this year - a third place finish for Matt Maeson's Hallucinogenics (Seeb Remix) and our first ever medal position.

But enough about us, what about all you lot? Here's how you did in the AH Gold biggest sellers chart of 2020:

1. Caerfyrddia (BJSC 126): Malia Civetz - Disrespectful 2,207,000
2. Unovia (BJSC 124): Montaigne - Love Might Be Found (Volcano) 1,107,000
3. Suedeonia (BJSC 125): Africa Express ft Georgia, Mahotella Queens, Otim Alpha & Nick Zinner - City In Lights 974,800
4. Summericia (BJSC 121): Faouzia - Tears Of Gold 877,200
5. Kluminican Republic (BJSC 126): St. Lucia - China Shop 840,900
6. FSR Rontvia (BJSC 130): Capulets - Stranger Love 806,000
7. Jayrusalem (BJSC 124): Donna Missal - Hurt By You 780,600
8. Altyr Muunilinst (BJSC 126): Leon - And It Breaks My Heart 723,200
9. FARC (BJSC 129): Carla Wehbe – Don't Tell Me 610,000
10. Altyr Muunilinst (BJSC 123): Austra - Anywayz 572,700

11. Scherzland (BJSC 121): Madilyn - Tastes Like Karma 500,200
12. Danæviia (BJSC 127): BT & Emma Hewitt - No Warning Lights 476,800
13. Kluminican Republic (BJSC 127): Peking Duk - Feels Like 444,100
14. Cor Lupus (BJSC 123): The Naked And Famous - Bury Us 405,600
15. Terra Avium (BJSC 127): LCD Soundsystem - Seconds 364,400
16. Oslol (BJSC 121): PowerDress, Arthur Baker & Jon Pearn - Constellations 329,900
17. Hendinia (BJSC 122): Smith & Thell - Goliath 321,000

Quite a few countries greedily getting more than one appearance here. If you're not in this Top 30, then, you know...soz. But take heart in the fact that you've more than likely charted somewhere during the year.

Anyway, hope everyone had as good as Christmas as could be expected and I wish everyone a happy new year. heart.gif

Hooray for snagging one appearance here again! Really happy that Minuit Machine turned out to be a good discovery for so many people (even getting Multichart top 30 $ma$hage oh my).

Loving how high 'City In Lights' is here as well <3 and Death Grips making a surprise appearance too, I wouldn't have pinned you as a fan of that!

Also congrats on having a pretty successful year! (almost enough so that the 'poor brave' trademark might need to be stripped from you thinking.gif laugh.gif)

I really must try harder, three years without any representation! laugh.gif
