Makes you wonder how many weeks Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' would have spent at some of the positions >50, if the chart had been long enough at the time!

Wow that's quite an impressive list! But I'd qute like to see the same list for consecutive weeks at each position.

Might as well just say Frank Sinatra/Snow Patrol for everything below 30-ish.
Thanks for posting this, it's interesting that some positions have much higher records than the positions on either side of them (like #33 for example). Just a quirk of random chance I guess. |

Thanks, Englebert didn't even have two consecutive weeks at 33 within that run: Engelbert Humperdinck - Release Me - (57 Weeks) 28/01/1967 -39-23-12-4-2-{1}-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-8-11-15-21-19-23-29-31-36-33-26-41-33-35-34-38-40-45-42-43-37-39-33-31-32-33-37-37-37-34-33-36-33-32-31-31-33-35-47-40-46-50-50-x(1894)-51 Again, his run was in the Top 50 era, so he would doubtless have clocked up a whole lot more total weeks in the 51-75 range |

Or indeed in total if there was a Top 75 back then. There was a top 100 compiled back then (from February 1969 to May 1978) but it was for the music industry only. I'd love to get my hands on those charts! Similarly there has been a top 200 compiled since May 1978 but again it's impossible to get a hold of them before January 1983. And even then, the top 200 charts before 1994 are now virtually impossible to get since the BPI closed its library to the public a few years ago.

Pretty creepy that My Way is the only Sinatra song (excluding I Will Drink the Wine which spoils the fun ) that was at #49 at any point, and it's the song that spent the most weeks there!
