Just because it’s a deal doesn’t mean it’s good
A deal can be a variety of things. A deal could mean we pay the EU £1m and they give us 3 elephants. That’s leaving with a deal. But it’s a shit one. |

*SIGHS* I have, immigration and money saved. Your turn. What's bad about leaving? Nothing with a deal. Sorry not good enough. A. You've been TOLD already that immigration will not go down. So PACK IT IN. B. What's bad about leaving with a deal? Well...just off the top of my head..... 1.The end of freedom of movement for UK Citizens. This has already created a huge amount of stress and certainty for UK Expats abroad and it hasn't even been implemented yet, and UK residents whose jobs require visiting Europe regularly, and it hasn't even been implemented yet. 2. The end of freedom of movement for EU Citizens coming to the UK. Not so much a problem for them as they will just go elsewhere, but it leaves us short of valued skilled and lesser skilled workers, and that is something that will take a long time to replicate those arrangements with other countries i.e. INDIA, CHINA. I wasn't going to rise to you today, but your head is so far up Boris' arse it's ridiculous. Even by your standards. You are a troll. Nobody is this WILLFULLY THICK. P.S. GET A JOB, PEOPLE IN WORSE SITUATIONS MANAGE IT. This post has been edited by mald487: 17th October 2019, 05:39 PM |

He got a deal though against all odds. A second referendum, as a Tory MP has just said, will just delay things further when the public mood is to get this done, dusted and finished. The saying is true. WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY. The pound has strengthened a lot with news of this deal. Looking good. A deal that is worse than the previous one agreed with the EU. How does that fit the definition of a triumph? |

Sooo he has turned the backstop into a frontstop This is not WOW SHAMAAZING before the trolls get here again. It is him using one of Mad May's old plans that they discarded as it was too shit. It is the TRUE Surrender Act.

Don't say that Kath. Makes me sad. Maybe you're depressed and need to see your GP. Most normal ordinary people like you and me won't be affected and won't even know we've left. What are you specifically worried about? If most people will notice no difference, what has been the point of the last three-and-a-half years? |

From BBC News.
BBC News estimating 317 for and 322 against is their calculation tonight so Boris needs to do some persuading before Saturday and needs 3 more backers. However more Labour MP's than the ones who signed the letter may defy Corbyn and vote for it and it's thought that's where Boris's success lies. Forget bribing the DUP now and concentrate on getting numbers from Labour. This post has been edited by Freddie Kruger: 17th October 2019, 06:26 PM |

THIS! NO one voted for this hard Tory brexshit. This awful deal has to be put to a referenduum. The purged Tory mps aren't going to do Bojo any favours, and neither will Labour nor the SNP. His only chance is having a confirmatory referendum. Even Farage hates this deal, sooo it will only go one way: remain. Farage can then keep his EU gig, which is probably what he wants. |

The purged Tory MP's and ERG are reportedly going to back Boris. Surely 3 votes is doable. We don't want a tie or that moron remoaner Bercow would scupper the deal.

I am really starting to suspect he is either a professional troll, or just trolls as he's bored. Either way, it's trolling. Look at that last post It's just not to be taken seriously. It just posts waaay too much trolly politics spam though so it's hard to ignore, which leads me back to scenarios A and B. It's all done on purpose. I bet that's why he got the digitalspy bans. Ooh and now the post disappears as he scrambles to delete it. Sorry. Too late. We're onto you now. I've said this all along! He does it to knowing he'll wind (lots of) people up so they'll respond (as you say - its hard to ignore) then he responds back with more spam just so he can get higher up the posters chart! He won't rest until he's top of the pops and with at least 10,000 posts between himself and second place! |

Oh my GOD.
Brexshit is not for you. It's for the rich. And you keep saying REPORTEDLY. The BBTory was quite convinced Mad May's deal would do better than it did. The only way it passes is if it's with a confirmatory referendum. That seems fair to me. 3 years. That's the best deal, well second best, deal they came up with. Okay. Let's check to see if that's what people actually want. Remain v this deal. That's actually the best scenario we've had in years. |

As long as I’m living and breathing, that statement won’t be accurate. They haven’t asked what the country want for years. |

If this deal gets through with Labour votes, I hope we will hear no more from them about tuition fees.

Actually, OTHER journalists are reporting that the numbers ARE there for a CONFIRMATORY referendum.
Guess what? That's democracy. Forcing us out on a terrible deal is NOT democracy. Put it to the people. The numbers are there in parliament. It will get brexshit sorted one way or the other eh! You JUST said it yourself: mps want it done. What better way than confirming what the people want? If it's this terrible deal, so be it. Sorted. If it's remain, a50 gets revoked and that's the end of that. I want a second ref. So do a lot of people. That must mean that the entire country wants a 2nd ref. |

What would you lot who want a second referendum do if it was the same result? A third, a fourth until we get the one we want? Three years isn't a long time.

This is a 3rd referendum.
It is a tangible one too, with two REAL options and no unicorn. There is this solid, tangible deal v remain as we are. The last one was a small vocal minority getting a second referendum after the papers screamed and screamed for one. |

Sooo just seen some of the recations from 5he hard right no dealers who jumped Brexshit to Tory, and they are livid That's what happens when you hype up far right rhetoric, promise no deal, andthen just run to amend Mad May's deal to appear a hero! Whoops. Even ToryGov will have a hard time covering up the swing away.

Don't know what the hell Farage is playing at. On about a second referendum now, calling it a terrible deal. Thought he was desperate to get out.
