I am hyped!
Oh my GOD. Why do I still not live in London
Natasha St-Pier. OMG *.*
Petra
Min kropp är färdig Tix going on sale on Friday which is annoying but hey ho.
Would LOVE to go to this but I'm at work as tickets go on sale
Let's hope they hold some back
I am hyped for this, but then I realised it wasnt broadcasted in The Netherlands and I won't be in Belgium either
Three winners added to the line-up today, Nicole, Lordi and Emmelie!
Oh excellent, I was thinking as I was reading the first post that Lordi were an essential booking.
Here's a press pack all about the 60th anniversary including what's going to be happening over the next year as well as a look back at the history of the contest!

http://60th.eurovision.tv/ is now live! Looking forward to exploring that! There is also this http://matchmaker.eurovision.tv/ and I just got matched with the 10s!
Also further details about the concert ahead of tomorrow's ticket launch are http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/3Lk6TzSmghJSbSgsR27P29q/eurovisions-greatest-hits-ticket-faq. Prices are between £43 and £70 and the concert will last around three hours, finishing at 10.30pm.
GOT MY TICKETS (Qassandra this will be FABULOUS) *.*
Loreen (!!!), Dana International, Brotherhood of Man and Dima Bilan are the final acts to be revealed: http://www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=final_acts_revealed_for_60th_anniversary_event
Sold out already? I haven't managed to get tickets
Rosa seems like such an odd booking, not exactly a fan classic
There's still tickets left as far as I can see! Unfortunately with it lasting up to 3 hours there's no way I'd get a train back in time but hopefully they show it properly on TV and not just a really edited version.
Loreen DID get announced then! So upset I haven't managed to get tickets. She better stay in the UK and do a mini tour whilst here!
Just category one tickets left now it looks like!
I got a ticket!
I've seen Loreen perform Euphoria live before but always more than happy to see it again! Weirdly hyped for Natasha St-Pier So many incredible acts, and Dima Bilan.
Loreen>>>>>>Petra>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Everything else
Tweeted by Edward af Sillén who looks like is involved with the show!
Cool
I got a ticket after all, see y'all there
See you there!
Does anyone know how much the circle seated tickets cost?
There are some standing tickets available right now but I'd rather hang back to see if anymore seats become available. But then if they're all over £60 like the standing tickets I'd rather not pay out at all
If I remember rightly, the cheapest seats were around £47ish with the expensive seats about £60ish.
I can't remember exactly but I'm sure there were 2 sets of standing and seating, one of each in the £40s and one of each in the £60s.
This is being broadcast on BBC One on Good Friday (April 3rd) at 9pm according to the BBC Entertainment PR guy on Twitter. I guess this is so BBC get the exclusive first showing as it seems several countries are showing it on April 4th.
Can't believe the show itself is less than a fortnight away now, very exciting!
I wish it was Petra, Graham AND Anke 😟
Pietra Merdez
Lynda Woodruff will be the red carpet reporter for the Swedish broadcast of this! Will have to re-watch on the Saturday night!
Getting a ticket for this on Monday, whoop!
I can barely HANDLE my yaaaaaaasing for this all day
I need to leave work, like now, Hammersmith is over an hour away, aargh!
so jealous of everyone who is going today :'(
Can we talk about how I just went to Nanne f***ing Grönvall and told her "Jag Myste Kyssa Dig" and gave her a huge kiss on her cheek?
Oh my freaking gawd
Can we talk about how I just went to Nanne f***ing Grönvall and told her "Jag Myste Kyssa Dig" and gave her a huge kiss on her cheek?
Oh my freaking gawd
Have an amazing night all of you, look forward to hearing your stories just like R VULK here!
So jealous I am missing this. Is this going to be on the tv?
Shirley Clamp is sitting about three rows in front of me *.*
Riverdance was the interval act aaahhhhh so amazing!
Absolutely sensational show so far - even Electro Velvet were great live as our warm-up act! Jon Ola Sand is just a few rows in front of me!
I have to admit, that Electro Velvet performance rather sold the song to me, it looks brilliant visually.
So apparently Dima Bilan is being booed to the echo in the hall. LOL!
The mention of Russia was as opposed to Dima specifically. The hosts re-recorded it and told the crowd off for booing
Yeah it was handled well considering, Dima himself got completely cheers so that was the main thing!
I'll give my full thoughts later but fantastic show! On my way out I'm sure I was walking next to Electro Velvet's Bianca and she was wearing an accreditation pass and walking with a crew member (and a man who wasn't Alex ) so I guess it could've been her! If not it was an identical twin! Also I didn't spot Loreen in the final performance but it was a fantastic show closer!
Such cheers for Bobbysocks and Johnny Logan, the 80s fans were out in force!
It really was an incredible evening, works so well as a commemorative show, i look forward to seeing it edited together on TV!
OMFG WHAT A NIGHT
AS IF SHIRLEY WAS THERE TOO The night STARTED AT 11 and only got better when I rocked up and found Nanne RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME AND GOT A PHOTO *.*
I've also just got back home! There are a few spoilers in this, so don't read any further if you don't want any but I'm mostly mentioning things that won't make the broadcast anyway.
I loved the fact that there were a few mistakes and retakes - at one point Petra's earring fell down her top and Graham spent a couple of minutes trying to put it back in with many innuendos! Also when Graham interviewed Lys Assia, the crown he gave her fell off so they had to do 2 more retakes and still couldn't get it done It sort of turned into Lys just saying 'Refrain' on repeat before something went wrong!
Really was a fantastic show, it's so hard to pick out a favourite performance - possibly Emmelie actually for me! I liked the fact that a few of the old non-English songs had a verse or chorus of English put in them and I agree with Rich that the older acts (in particular Brotherhood of Man, Bobbysocks and Jonny Logan) got massive cheers along with Loreen and Conchita - the atmosphere really was spectacular all night! The Russia incident was a shame and unnecessary in a celebration event but I'm glad once the initial booing was over that Dima got fantastic cheers like everyone else.
Natasha St-Pier was a stand-out for me. Possibly because she wasn't a big name compared to the majority so I had lower expectations, but her vocals were incredible and it was staged beautifully. I wasn't expecting to enjoy the older acts as much as the likes of Loreen and Emmelie but they were all fantastic - The Herreys were probably my favourite of the classics! The stage overall was a big surprise, I wasn't expecting something so good - it was more of a big arena stage than a small theatre stage which is what I was expecting. Great finale too but won't give it away, love the fact Dana International took like three separate bows () and when she sung a small part with Conchita that definitely was a crowd pleaser!
Really can't wait how to see it is put together on TV, I hope they don't cut any of the performances out - I don't see why they would as I'm sure without all the gaps that we had for retakes and stage set-up then everything will fit perfectly into a 90 minute show. Graham said the Electro Velvet performance may end up on the website and/or red button, although I think there's already LQ videos on the web anyway.
Oh yes, Riverdance was also a spectacular interval act!
Sounds like an utterly fabulous night! Can't wait to see the show on TV on Friday.
I wonder how many viewers will watch this on Friday and if anything will re-chart on iTunes?
Call me crazy but I feel like the biggest beneficiary could be Riverdance (maybe not on iTunes but in the public's consciousness), it won't have the novelty factor of 1994 but it may have the 'WOW, I remember that - it's still amazing' factor if enough people tune in. Euphoria for a chart return too please *.*
Loreen "Euphoria" will defo make a re-appearance!
Hope everyone had a good time, very jealous to have missed it - just watched Electro Velvet's performance and it was actually sooo good! Well done to them !
http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/quiz/2015/apr/02/eurovision-song-contest-quiz-60th-anniversary
(43 Those UK question I've no idea about tho oops )
I got 49, wasn't as easy as I expected! My pre-90s knowledge will forever be ropey.
I got 42 but really shouldn't have messed up on the Daz lyric.
Got 43 at Claudia Winkleman impersonator?!
Only 51
UK Part : 8 / 10 (shame on me )

My weakest link is the last decade.
Wrong answers : 6, 7, 15 , 16, 32, 39, 49, 50, 57
I got 37, Round 3 really killed me.
Was so pleasantly surprised about the Austria 1977 inclusion. Recently discovered this fabulous song and it hasn't left my head <3
I got 47 on that quiz. Really nice to see a rather hard one of those around.
That description of Ukraine 2007 rather tripped me up, I had no clue where they were going with Christopher Biggins impersonator. I've watched that performance so many times as well.
56 *.*
49 out of a possible 60
Congratulations! You’re a regular ˇeljko Joksimović (the Serbian host of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest). This result must make you feel like a Süper Star (the title of the Turkish entry in 2006). You could fill the Nederlands Congresgebouw (the host venue for the 1976 and 1980 contests) with your knowledge and skill (a line from We’ve Got a World to Build, the 1986 German entry by Ingrid Peters).
I got 51. Bow down a select number of eurobitches!
51 for me also, so many pre-2000s questions were guesses though!

Euro trivia 5/10
watching this now.
All the standard Eurovision jokes getting wheeled out for a warm-up ahead of May *.*
This is quite fun with the varied performances but Graham and Petra have been the highlight so far.
What on earth was that thing with the 3 dancing middle aged men?!!!
Plus I'd far rather have a replay of Dana International falling over than singing.
Nicki French will be crying tonight.
Did this really win?! What a bizarre winner. Was it a particularly bad year?
Are there two lesbians in Brotherhood of Man?
Natasha St-Pier *.*
Riverdance and Lordi have both been highlights, glad I watched it for those two.
Kinda wish I'd gone to see the latter when they were at my student union last week.
I bet the Riverdance was SUCH a moment live.
I thought I'd never have to hear Euphoria again
SLAYPHORIA
What a state she looks! Sounded quite cheaply re-produced aswell but sure it was still an incredible moment for some of you guys to hear it live in any form.
Lordi unmasked, I thought he'd never let this happen.
Great hosting and the recent winners except lordi were fab. Of the oldies great see Anne Marie David and Nicole. And brotherhood of man no longer annoys me I forgive all. Fab to see eres tu get a look in one if the biggest non winners worldwide a fab song.
Absolutely fabulous show! Graham and Petra were amazing. My highlights were of course Loreen and Natasha St-Pier. How the hell did she not win?? Stunning.
Songs: 10
Show: 10
Graham's beard: 0
So, Loreen chose to wear her Obese Uncles waistcoat and pour chip-fat over her hair. Loreen is a true artist and I'm sure there is something symbolic with the performance, but it didn't work for me.
I also enjoyed Bobbysocks.
Johnny Logan is a pompous twat.
Petra is a legend.
They are my verdicts for tonight.
They are only going to show this here in 2 days. Ugh. Oh well I'll just download it from someplace instead of waiting~
Great to see it all put together! They fit everything in apart from a few of the classic songs montages, they showed about 5 or so on Tuesday but only 2 made it in tonight if I remember correctly. Glad they minimised the booing prior to Dima's performance and they edited the Lys interview very well in the end considering all of the takes!
Overall it came across great on screen and the sound seemed pretty well mixed too, maybe except for parts of the 'Diva' performance but that's just a minor thing. I liked how they brought back those 1998 transition effects from the original 'Diva' performance to today's show.
Fantastic!
'Euphoria'actually came across much better on screen than live for me, I was in the upper seating section so couldn't experience the full stage production which looked fantastic on TV although of course seeing Loreen live is fantastic anyway. For me live on Tuesday, the 'Euphoria' production sounded the same as the original with a few added violins (like on the album version) but I could hear the differences in production much clearer tonight. Still sounded great to me though and it's nice that the production has a little bit of a refresh. Riverdance was incredible live, I'd never seen it properly before but it was fantastic.
Such a lovely show, felt like real event television actually?! Thank god for Eurovision haha
Really enjoyed the show, very well put together I loved the heereys and I never really rated the song before and they got a maaive reception,, riverdance, bobbysocks and emelie de forest were other highlights for me,Dana international and dima Milan were my least faved but overall great show that brought back many memories.
This was so good.
Dima Bilan's performance was ghastly You are not MJ, hen.
Nicole <3 The Riverdance interval act *.*
Loreen's hair though. Awks.
Loved how Johnny Logan walked in front of everyone and stood in the centre at the end. MAKE WAY FOR THE KING PLZ. LMAO
Lol I was too far back to see what Loreen looked like but wow, not a good look. I don't like the new 'arty' version of Euphoria as much as the original but she was still amazing.
The Olsen Brother with glasses has aged a lot in the last 15 years.
Riverdance was indeed incredible live <3
"Azerjaban-orwhat"
"Let's just hope they never win again"
!!!
"I felt... not dry when I heard your song".
Dana National!
I DIED
