The girls are doing great in the UK. With the last era they got some global succes with 'Shout out to my ex' and 'Reggaeton lento'. Still, a global smash hit is missing. Has there been a missed opportunity? Or what is needed to get one?

Just wondering happy.gif

If they want a global hit, then the need to lean towards urban. I hope they don’t though.

If they do a song with Justin Bieber or Drake it should work.

As much as hate drake a duet or feature would help him, a good few of their big UK hits deserved to be worldwide hits for them.

I think that collab with Ariana that was rumoured before Glory Days would work probs even moreso now!

I like to think there's still a slight chance, but tbh, I think they'll probs give up trying international markets where they're not "big" now.

really can't see Little Mix pulling off urban or securing a feature as high-profile as Drake, it's probably best if they just keep focusing on the UK cos they're really big here.

UK is a profitable market, I know they do great here in Ireland too but sales here don't account for much but they make well on touring here, I think they should focus on where they do well as we have seen time and time again where acts put so much time into breaking America and fail and in the process lose some of their fanbases where they were doing well.If they can keep going the way they are they could still be big for a few more years to come.

If they really want a hit in the US, they need to get a new team, that's literally the only thing that's holding them back. But to be honest, they should just give it up. Or at least take a break from it. They should put all these energy to becoming huge in Europe and especially Asia & Latin America. A solid hit in multiple continents > A hit in America.

Also, since they seem to hop on whatever is the current trend... a collab with a korean group would be amazing. I can see the girls working with Red Velvet and Blackpink.

I agree with this. They have the potential to be huge in Europe and Asia, but it's too late for America now. It would have happened already.

There just isn't much of a market for Little Mix in the US, unfortunately.

Still, a big European hit hasn't happened (yet) either.

Australia and New Zealand are the only big markets that take to them. Touch and Shout Out were both big hits there.

Interestingly nothing since Touch has had any real impact on the chart until Woman Like Me

#3 Wings (debuted at #34)
#48 DNA
#8 Change Your Life
#29 How Ya Doin'?

#26 Move (debuted at #33)
#85 Little Me

#45 Word Up!

#8 Black Magic (debuted at #25)
#27 Love Me Like You
#16 Secret Love Song
#10 Hair

#4 Shout Out To My Ex (debuted at #16)
#96 You Gotta Not
#13 Touch

#68 Reggaetón Lento
#92 Only You

#23 (so far) Woman Like Me

I reckon Woman Like Me will perform similarly to Touch, it's slowly climbing in Spotify although has dropped down iTunes (#67 right now) and is also falling on Apple Music :/ I remember there being a bit more hype around SOTME (which was also a better song) so they've done well so far despite that.

Ireland, in terms of sales would be on a par with Australia and they do seem a big hit there too.

I agree that they should work on working on their European profile instead of America. America hates girl groups. Even Fifth Harmony that had 1 huge smash and another hit were barely able to sell out theaters.
