it's a smart strategy to add those 2 songs, thats very pragmatic cos thats the easiest way to accumulate streams, having 5/6 singles off an album...

Only just found out that the Deluxe version has been released physically, but it's seemingly a Japan exclusive ohmy.gif It came out two weeks ago!

(Argh @ tracks 19/20/21!)

It's a pity it's not been given a general worldwide release tbh. I feel like it could have done pretty well in Q4!

This completely passed me by, but there is actually a reissued CD version of this album in the UK... it was released on 22nd November ohmy.gif

It now includes Señorita, If I Can't Have You & the Zedd Remix of Lost in Japan, as well as the original 14 tracks (it's in a rejigged order in comparison to the original release). The main drawback is that it's currently £12.75!

I wonder why it was reissued so quietly? I checked the 29th November chart and the album actually fell from #132 to #149 in that week lol~



There's also a new version released in France which has the same slipcase cover as the Japanese version, but it has a different track list. It was released on 6th December!

This version includes Señorita and If I Can't Have You, but interestingly has removed the original Lost in Japan and replaced it with the Zedd Remix. At the end of the album it also includes almost every single release from prior to the 'Shawn Mendes' era: Mercy, Life of the Party, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Stitches, There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back and Treat You Better.

So strange that Twitter stans didn’t cotton onto it either, they’re usually all over things like this - and disappointing that it fell so many places in the album chart lmao!
