Hello guys and girls! cheer.gif Ultimate Movie Song is back for a third year and the idea is pretty simple, vote for buzzjacks favourite movie song of all time! 4 stages; nominations, first semi's, second semi's, Final's!
This year this countdown is brought to you by myself, Harry and DalekTurret!

All you gotta do is list up to 30 of your favourite movie songs. Now, these are songs that either feature in a movie, were written for a movie or were used heavily in a movie and it's promo.

This year is a little different with auto qualifiers! 11-25 qualify to the first round of semi's while the top 10 from last year will go straight to the second round of semi's! Don't nominate these tracks!

Auto Qualifiers To Second Semi's:
All Saints - Pure Shores (The Beach)
Beyonce - Listen (Dreamgirls)
Britney Spears - Everytime (Spring Breakers)
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On (Titanic)
Christina Perri - A Thousand Years (Twilight)
Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise (Dangerous Mind)
Eminem - Lose Yourself (8 Mile)
Faith Hill - There You'll Be (Pearl Harbour)
Idina Menzel- Let It Go (Frozen)
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway (The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement)

Auto Qualifiers To First Semi's:
A.R. Rahman Ft The Pussycat Dolls And Nicole Scherzinger - Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire)
Aaliyah - Try Again (Romeo Must Die)
Aerosmith - I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing (Armageddon)
Ben E. King - Stand By Me (Stand By Me)
Blondie - Call Me (American Gigolo)
Destiny's Child - Independent Women Part. 1 (Charlie's Angels)
Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (Fifty Shades Of Grey)
Gary Jules & Michael Andrews - Mad World (Donnie Darko)
LeAnn Rimes- Can't Fight The Moonlight (Coyote Ugly)
Sia- Elastic Heart ( The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)
Spice Girls - Too Much (SpiceWorld: The Movie)
TLC - Waterfalls (Rap Version) (We're The Millers)
Underworld - Born Slippy (Trainspotting)
Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles (White Chicks)
Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (The Bodyguard)

These songs should not be in your lists, it'd be a wasted slot.

http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t=0&start=0 (2015 edition)
http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=5479820 (2016: Final top 60)
http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...308&hl=Song (2016: 61-120)
I can't find where the rest of last year nominees (below 120) were posted but if u r really desperate for songs then type song in the search icon and go to page 5 to view the 6 first round semi's!!

^The above has a list of songs that made the final and semi-finals in past competitions if you are starting to run out of inspiration!

Also remember many new tracks can be entered after not being out last year!

Please alphabetize your nominations and also include the film the movie is from:
For instance-
01) Faith Hill- There You'll Be (Pearl Harbour)
02) Idina Menzel- Let It Go (Frozen) etc!

While we will be a bit lenient, we'd prefer if the song was originally for the movie or became a big song because of the movie it featured in!

If someone had nominted a song, You don't have to nominate it again as it is already through to the next round

Deadline: 2 weeks from tonight which will be 4th April

Plz nominate and hope to see a lot of you participate! <3 we will be going quicker this year!!

I have just edited my list. I've got rid of five obscure songs that were not singles and replaced them with five better known songs that I didn't think of at the time.
