Quite impressive that she has made the final all three times she's participated in this decade, considering how her contemporaries have struggled so much in the past few years, I didn't realise there was so much goodwill towards her.

It's great though, this is EASILY the best song in the final so far, though I can't really imagine international juries flocking towards it.

My only criticism is that it does rather lack a money note at the end, a la Hero's 'will SURVIIIIIVVVVVEEE'. She would have had enough time for 'party VOIIIIIICCCCCEEE' at the end rather than that slightly damp ending.

Oh I disagree, if anything this is the song I can most see the international juries putting in their top three and the public not being too fussed about.

Unlike Sanna though she already won in 2003 with Fame, so there's no similar precedent. And she has appeared seven times if you count her two appearances as part of Fame.

the most shocking thing out of this semi is mendez not going dtf...he got the pimp slot, great staging and a fabulous (possibly even eurovision winning kind of song) but no luck

Mendez will no doubt do pretty well on Spotify now the song is able to be released immediately and may build up a head of steam ready for AC and inevitably the final. It might work in his favour a bit.

dotter’s vocal was f***ing dire...she sounded out of tune from the moment she started to attempt to sing; it was a masterclass in being terrible

I still don’t think it was even THAT bad! And even considering it was kinda poorly performed, it’s still leagues ahead of Cuba Libre.

ANYWAY, Party Voice is the first song I've been hooked on this contest. Can't get enough of it!
