Well I can't think of a time when four songs were added to the A-list in the same week so that's pretty crazy! Sadly I'm not a huge fan of any of them but there you go.

Not entirely sure why they didn't just replace the BTS single with the new one like they did with Billie Eilish? It's not like 'Butter' is smashing.

Surprised KSI is stalling on the C-list but good to see Becky Hill and Måneskin making upward movements.

Dreadful list of new additions, Talk About is the only one of note.

Very pleased to see Måneskin, Tyler (I take back everything I said about this being a weaker spot on the album, grown on me a lot now) + WILLOW advancing to B-List

Not heard new Posty yet but did catch Billie and Dave/Stormzy on R1 this morning and both were good heard new BTS as well but it didn't do a lot for me

Also happy to see Nothing But Thieves and Rain Radio added to C-List, very fast for the latter! A 'Big Hoops' redemption arc wasn't on my 2021 bingo card but there we go *.*

Great to see so many new adds! Not listened to them yet but it's always nice to see a fresh playlist.

Love to see Maneskin and Willow move up to the B list. Joy Crookes and Nothing But Thieves are also great adds.

It's nice to see some support for post-album singles from Arlo and Royal Blood.

I was convinced that Sam Fender would be insta-added. I kind of expected him to possibly be A-list. He isn't even Tune of the Weekend.

Good adds from Nothing But Thieves and Royal Blood out of the ones I have heard so far, also yay for Måneskin and WILLOW being moved up after only a week, hope both are headed for the A-List ~ wow at a week with 4 A-List additions, I guess this was a fairly stacked week for releases by big names (and that's not even including the LAROI/Bieber song not being playlisted yet).

Wondering if Wolf Alice will have another song from their album playlisted some time soon now that 'Smile' is off the list - they've been making music videos for every song on the album so it's not clear yet which song if any they'd be pushing to radio next. I'd guess it's most likely to be 'How Can I Make It OK?' if anything but I'd love to see a playlist spot at some point for 'Lipstick On The Glass', have become slightly obsessed with that song over the last week or so.

‘How Can I Make It Ok?’ Has been getting a lot of spins on Annie Macs show which is usually a sign it’s on their radar to playlist it as the next single.

I don't remember 'Big Hoops' from the time actually! This Rain Radio track though is so different to the style of dance we usually get in the charts these days which makes it really refreshing - it reminds me a bit of 90s eurodance actually with the synths in the chorus and high pitched vocals!

Elsewhere on the playlist I was surprised Jonasu - Black Magic hadn't been added yet but then it was posted on here that it is Scott Mills' track of the week.

I think radio 1 like a lot of us are bored of the faceless dance music in the charts these days but no doubt it’ll do a Noiszu or Navos or maybe I’m just an old fart and most dance music sounds the same these days because I’ve been around long enough to hear it being recycled 1000 times!

Big Hoops was on heavy rotation on my IPod back in 2012! It's relative underperformance was disappointing. Not 100% sure how to feel about the Rain Radio track yet.
