I have 4 of Kylie;s recent features added into the poll to work out which song is the most enjoyed here and least enjoyed.
To have some Dannii involvement, which of the 4 features do you think would have been most suitable if Dannii had secured the feature.
Should 'Lazy' really be included yet if nobody's heard it?
I had thought the song may break today so added it in the poll.
Yeah I'll reserve voting until I hear Lazy on Friday
we can let the thread rest and boost it when we get to hear the song.
I haven't heard Lazy yet... has it been released?
We might get it just after midnight on thurs if we are lucky.
Hopefully the song is good, im aligned that it wont manage any chart success, but if some comes i would greatly welcome it.
Not to long ti wait to hear lazy now.
I hope the song is good but based on the recent duets (Jack Savoretti not included) i wont hold my breath.
I think its gona be a middle of the road song ok but nothing wow.
2 votes here for The Vaccines' collab being worst before it was even released
I cant access the song yet, where is it available?
Best is sigala
Worst is Jennifer
Sigaka would be best suited to dannii.
Best- What You Waiting For with Sigala
Worst - Really Dont Like You with Tove Lo
Dannii could work on What You Waiting For as that sound has proven successful for Dannii.
'Really Don't Like U' is my favourite. Took a few listens to click but when it did it continued to grow. This minimal, electropop sound and hook-heavy style works really well for Kylie, certainly one avenue she could take for her next album.
'LAZY' is my least favourite from that selection. It's passable for what it is but it's just not for me.
I guess 'What You Waiting For' would suit Dannii best given her history of working with dance producers.
Electro pop and Kylie sound right.
The sound of Robyn, a few years back appears very suitable to Kylie.
Dancing on my own by Robyn I love, really should have been a bigger hit for her but that type of sound I'd love from kylie.
Dancing on my Own is a fabulous song by Robyn as is the Callum Scott version but a song style that Kylie could be very good with.
These 4 songs could have made a nice ep release for Kylie.
Really dont like you is well out in front now.
On Oublie Le uses la la la sample UN-neccessarily and it doesnt work to the best for the song.
It's nothing great at all, interesting that someone voted lazy for dannii as from all the songs I think that would suit her the least.
With the exception of What You Waiting For, i would not see any of the remaining songs in any way suitable to Dannii.
The Christmas album by Kylie, do you think it may have worked even better if that was a release of Dannii and Kylie where they dueted on all the songs?
Not sure, it may have worked considering it was only a Christmas album but I di think 100 degrees should have been on the standard edition
100 Degrees should have been rightly housed on the original standard edition but i would believe the plan was to get those extra sales by adding it to the deluxe and later package.
As a result, many of the purchasers of the original standard album are unaware of the song.
Defo plus it should have been pushed as a full on lead single with a phyisical CD and the works as it would have easily made the top 75.
It likely would have charted if this had happened and also if Dannii and Kylie carried out promotional activities together.
Fans of both Kylie and Dannii would have welcomed the cd single.
A question, do you think there would be many Dannii fans who may not necessarily be a Kylie fan and vice versa?
I think most are fans of both although for me I was never into dannii at all until x factor which also wasnt instant, I still dont enjoy her old material but I enjoy a good few of her songs.who do you love me now also helped me get into dannii.
Musically, Dannii is very hit and miss.
With the exception of the Neon Night era, i never enjoyed back to back Dannii songs which made it harder to really get behind her.
Who Do You Love Now and I Begin To Wonder were fantastic back to back singles from Dannii, it is this style where Dannii seemed to have found her niche but unfortunately never got to truly follow up her standout and most memorable era which resulted in her music career fading away.
I still love who do love now it's my fave dannii single followed by this is it and I begin to wonder. I still think dannii should have tried to capitalize on her music career when she was on x factor as she was hugely popular on the show.
She certainly missed the opportunity to do something musically on X Factor as she could have scored further hits.
The much less talented Cheryl, took full advantage of her time on the show and it resulted in her scoring Number 1 hits.
I was sure dannii would have at least went for 1 big performance on the show, it could scored her a big hit.
On Oublie Le Reste, has it met with much success in Europe?
I dont think it did much anywhere.
