Let’s start with this



Where we defeated France 1-0 at Hampden Park and won 1-0 in France also. In typical Scottish fashion we got beat against Georgia and finished third behind Italy and France.

This was incredibly iconic, England were winning 1-0 with ten minutes to go. Scotland then came back to lead 2-1 and England scored in the last minute after an awful attempt of a counter attack which should have made it 3-1.

Do you remember Dundee United almost won the European cup? They got knocked out from Rome after match fixing from Rome and the following year got beat from Gotenburg!

Yes,I remember Dundee United and Aberdeen doing really well in Europe in the 1980s. Aberdeen managed to win the European Cup Winners' Cup.
