Emma was very coy on radio today she actually said 'we were all in town so thought we would meet up'. Yes Emma Mel B was just in town for a reason 😉

She tried to make it sound like they met as friends and then reunion talk came from that. It was obviously a business meeting with a bonus catch up with friends. Mel B doesnt fly to the UK for a day and you don't have your manager there unless it is to nail down a contract.

And Mel B looked really tired - she had obviously been up all night to fly over especially.

The 2007 reunion started with a February meeting. So I guess we will find out in May.

The Sun claims they might start a record label to help female artists. Makes sense and would give some of them something to work on in their twilight years.

Whatever they do they have to give their market some enticements like unheard music, performances...

I actually really love this idea!
It would be iconic if the most celebrated girl group not only paved the way for female entertainers, but actually made supportive platforms for new talent to emerge. Excellent idea.

TMZ claim there will be a UK and US tour starting late summer. No new music, no Vegas residency.

So far there are no sources cited, confirmations, etc in regards to the TMZ "announcement" today, correct?

TMZ have an article saying the girls have renewed a trademark contract on touring merchandise till 2023. There would be only 1 reason to renew a trademark contract on touring merch. http://www.tmz.com/2018/02/07/spice-girls-...rights-reunion/

September to December is realistic as that is after Mel Cs summer festival appearances and in between fashion weeks for Victoria. If they are touring up and down the UK then I guess stadiums aren’t likely.

Why do that if there is no music? What's the point?

They should AT LEAST release W.O.M.A.N, an updated version of it, and see if Mel C can write any Spicy hits.

Very exciting! I'm anxious for them to officially confirm their plans.

'TELLY WAS MY FUTURE' Geri Horner reveals she had given up all hope for a future Spice Girls reunion as she takes over Bizarre
The singer confessed she thought a return was not possible after their failed effort to get together for the 20th anniversary for their debut single Wannabe in 2016

We all pushed for it, like, ‘Come on, let’s try and make it happen.’ It didn’t.

“You get to a point where you go, ‘Do you know what, just let it go.’ And I was having a baby.

“I’d really sort of let it go. It’s funny, they say let things go and I really had.

“When it finally came together the other day, we all came and sat around and went, ‘Maybe we should do something.’ And we all agreed.

“I think everyone goes through different stages in their life. I can’t speak for Victoria, but when you have children you just reflect.

“Who knows why but you get into different mind frames.

“When we all came together it was really nice to reflect on the past. Then we looked at the new generation as well and thought, ‘We should think about them. That’s important to us.’

“Regardless of whether we were in a band singing together, I still want to know that they’re happy and well and support them individually or collectively. I really do care about them.”

When I asked Geri about touring, it's clear plans are in the works. Geri said: “I think it’s one of the things that we look back on from the past and we’ve had so many amazing memories. Whatever we decide to do, however it unfolds, it will be something joyful and very connective.

“We love our fans, we love the music, we respect them. And we want to share that spirit of the Spice Girls. All I can say is: Watch this space.”

And when I suggested they could even take to the stage in the legends slot at Glastonbury next year, after Victoria attended last summer, Geri added: “That would be nice, we’ll put it on the discussion list.”

Victoria Beckham reveals the #MeToo and Time's Up movements inspired her to reunite with the Spice Girls after years apart

"The Time's Up and #MeToo movements have shone a light on how powerful we can be when we work together to bring about change.

"That is incredibly inspiring. My career has always focused on empowering and celebrating women, so the momentum that these movements brought only makes me even more determined and passionate in my beliefs."
