Latvia Aminata - Love Injected Supernova 2015 is coming soon QUOTE The selection will consist of three semi-finals on 2, 8 and 15 February and a final on 22 February. The winner will be selected out of the four finalists via a mix of jury and televoting. I'm sure they won't top something as glorious as "Cake To Bake" but they normally deliver so hype (I'm not even being sarcastic - poor Latvia get too much hate ) |

Wow, wasn't expecting this from Latvia! Fantastic, unique, modern song that would be Latvia's best entry ever surely along with 'My Star' of course (no 'Cake To Bake' isn't Latvia's best ever entry sorry Lex). Unfortunately this means it will probably come last in the national selection but hopefully Latvia prove us wrong. |

She won the televoting in her heat this evening, and was the artist who got the most televotes over both heats! As long as the jury don't mess up, she has a great chance. The other televoting favourites over the 2 heats were Elektro Folk, MNTHA and Markus - the rest of the songs were way behind.
Aminata is fantastic live too in this LQ video from this evening, would be an incredible entry! |

Aminata and MNTHA qualified with the televoting and Markus and Elektrofolk qualified with the two jury wildcards (who were 3rd and 4th in the televoting anyway) in tonight's semi-final where the 8 remaining acts were reduced to 4.
Aminata really could give Latvia a fabulous Eurovision result, I hope her momentum continues to next week's final. The qualify of today's semi-final seemed really high judging by the recap - the national selection overhaul that has gone on this year has certainly worked! |

Even later but I am also DOWN for an Aminata win (even if Cake To Bake is still maximal).

It will be possible to vote from anywhere in the world via Facebook/Twitter on the Supernova website during the final and it will count towards the results as far as I'm aware, so I hope we will all give a vote to Aminata!

And just a reminder that if you do tune in to Supernova this evening, you will get to experience the incredibleness of the Riga Beaver while ad breaks go on in Latvia!
A vote for Aminata is a vote for Riga 2016 and is therefore a vote for the Riga Beaver to be the 2016 interval act! THINK AHEAD EVERYONE |

So is it Tallinn or Riga 2016 you want? Somewhere in the Baltics will do, maybe Tallinn can import the Riga beaver! If Latvia choose correctly I'll have a Baltic top 3 lockout in my rankings Although I'm not banking on it considering everything has gone too well so far this weekend. |

Aminata on first, hopefully it doesn't matter too much in a line-up of 4 but you never know!

It looks like Markus is on last too, Latvia seemingly haven't mastered the art of running order manipulation yet!
