England v Greece, October 2001. I'm sure Mrs B was somewhere in the crowd when David scored that great free kick.

Perhaps I should go for Never Be The Same again as it was number one when my first nephew was born. Things have certainly never been the same again for his mother.

I think it's possibly Northern Star by Mel C. I actually didn't hate the album either, it was surprisingly okay in places.
I have another Mel C album too although I forget what it is or what's on it now. It had a black and white front cover though I think. |

Clearly a bigger fan than me! Mel C's voice is the strongest, but also grates on me too much to be properly into. However, saying that, "Never Be The Same Again" is easily the best of their solo work. Mostly for Lisa Lopes. Emma's "What Took You So Long" is a close second though. For Victoria it's "Not Such An Innocent Girl", Mel B "Feels So Good", Geri "Ride It". "When You're Gone" by Mel C and Bryan Adams is also pretty amazing. |

Melanie C - Northern Star / Never Be The Same Again
Mel B - Tell Me / I Want You Back Victoria - Let You Head Go / Out Of Your Mind Geri - Look At Me / Mi Chico Latino Emma - What Took You So Long? / What I Am 'Northern Star' is easily the best solo spice album. |

Oh yes, love your first choices for Mel B, Victoria and Geri too! I haven't heard "Northern Star" since about...1999. I've not actually heard many solo Spice albums in full, I'd say mine is either Victoria's or Emma's "Life In Mono". |
