The two discs fitted 45 tracks in total with very few omissions that peaked inside the Top 10, the highest being only #4. This volume was the first time in the series we heard music from a whole host of big names including Ella Henderson, George Ezra, Ariana Grande, Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne (as a lead artist), Rixton, Kiesza, Oliver Heldens, Sigma, MK, Sia (as a lead artist) and Tove Lo. The highest charting omission came from Example with One More Day (Stay With Me) which was a little surprising as most of his hits were included in the series. Along with this there were omissions from Pitbull, Gorgon City, Paolo Nutini, Ellie Goulding, Demi Lovato, The Saturdays, Meridian Dan and Indiana to name a few. Of those artists whose only appearance this is in the series there were songs by Mr. Probz, Ella Eyre (as a lead artist), MKTO, Idina Menzel, Secondcity, Klingande, Faul & Wad Ad, Shift K3y, John Martin (as a lead artist), and DJ Cassidy. Artwork Rating: 8/10 Extremely Good Interestingly the last time I rated an album artwork form the series with 8/10 it was of a fairground which isn’t too far from the mark of what is going on with this volume’s artwork. Obviously the theme is that of a rollercoaster which always spells an element of fun and surprise, and those are the sort of ingredients I look for when choosing a CD to buy. This artwork is bright, twisty and quite technical too, but it’s rather good I might say! Disc 1 Favourite: Mr. Probz – Waves (Robin Schulz Radio Edit) This one hit wonder was a staple in the summer of 2014, a nice breezy sound of fresh laid back dance music. It was the first time Robin Schulz came on the scene too. I don’t play this very much anymore but it’s still a good listen when it comes on. Disc 2 Favourite: Secondcity – I Wanna Feel There is just so much dance music on this disc, it was hard to narrow down my favourites, but this one which was surprisingly a UK #1 single had great feel-good vibes and they never were able to top it afterwards. Firstly, showcasing 15 UK #1 singles, in fact every single one available from this era, is mightily impressive and was a record set at the time. Also, the fact that the highest charting omission was a #4 hit shows that all the highest charting hits made the cut. The volume is utter brilliance. Andrew's Best 5 (as of June 2018) 1. Theme park rides etc. are something I've always hated But looking at them on an album artwork is pleasing Overall: 10/10 I love this album, arguably one of my favourites ever. There's only 7 songs over both discs that I don't like/go back to frequently (3 on Disc 1, 4 on Disc 2) and over half of each disc have become timeless tbh. My Top 5s are very rough as there are just so many great songs spread across here. I love how all songs on the entire album were Top 10 apart from 5, and even then they were all Top 40. Wild Wild Love, Neon Lights, Bad, Good Girls, Not A Bad Thing, Stolen Dance, Clarity, and It's On Again are the only songs I would've liked to make an appearance - but I'm not surprised they're missing for the most part. Wild Wild Love seems like a strange omission considering Pitbull's popularity though. I also like West Coast, although I really only play the ZHU remix To say that these were the most popular songs at the time is surprisingly accurate for a Now album - often there's a bunch of high profile omissions on Now albums... but not so much here. Oliver Heldens x Becky Hill – Gecko (Overdrive) [loved this the second it was released as an instrumental and the vocal mix is brilliant too] 2. Clean Bandit feat.
