Confirming that 'KLK' is a banger.

So is 'La Chíqui'.

I'll forgive you though because of that gif.

The Björk collab is my least favourite on the album 😭

I should probably give the rest of this album a listen (I only heard the singles and the collabs so far) but from what I've heard the Björk song was my least favourite as well oops ~

Given the rest of this album a listen now and I think aside from 'KLK' which we all knew I was gonna stan, my next fave song on here may be 'Machote', loving the heavy witchy / trap aesthetic wub.gif 'Riquiquí' is also a standout track + 'Mequetrefe' and 'La Chíqui' as I already knew.

In general am much preferring the more chaotic/heavy sounding songs on this to the mellower moments although out of those 'Calor' is probably the best.

Lol at this entire album having a shorter run time than '@@@@@'

never heard her (?) stuff but that 3rd single sounds like a female Aphex Twin and sounds nice!.... kinda interesting act, especially when music culture lately offers zillion rappers that I don't even care to listen....

still great on second listen but I do wish there was something as straight up gorgeous as "fugaces" from the self-titled, though "no queda nada" comes close

100 (!!!) new versions of Riquiqui have just been released.

Here’s what she says about it:
Did you know that up until now I had never allowed anyone to remix an Arca song? There existed 0 official remixes to an Arca track until today—“Riquiquí” has gotten 100 remixes by an intelligent sentience, created and trained by the genius minds at Bronze. I’ve worked with Bronze once before; in 2019 I gave musical language to Echo, a musical being birthed into the Museum of Modern Art’s lobby, and then Echo began to speak of its own volition. There you will never hear the same thing twice—for two years it is an evermorphing stream thanks to Bronze’s trained yet unpredictable musical AI. I recognized the textures and melodies, but never the song—for a composer such as myself it remains something truly new which I had never experienced before, a moment of unforgettable experience in virtue of the mystery and wonder Bronze makes possible.

In my top 3 albums of the year, still adore this 💕

Oh my! I'm not sure I can bring myself to listen to this, it's over 5 hours long!!!

Although I am very intrigued at how many different takes on one track someone can have and whether they just end up being unrecognisable from the original or not.
